Iva Toguri was a Japanese-American radio broadcaster who became infamous for her broadcasts as "Tokyo Rose" during World War II. Born in 1916 in Los Angeles, California, Toguri began her broadcasting career in the 1930s and gained notoriety for her sympathetic and sometimes inflammatory broadcasts to Japan.
