Hans Sitt

German violinist and composer

Hans Sitt was a German violinist and composer of the Romantic era. He was born in 1850 in Dresden, Germany and began his musical studies at a young age. Sitt was known for his technical mastery of the violin and his compositions, which were widely performed during his lifetime. He was particularly famous for his studies for solo violin, which are still widely performed today. Sitt died in 1892 at the age of 42.
