George McDonald
Author and poet
George McDonald is a British author and poet known for his children's books and fantasy novels. He was born in 1824 and died in 1905. McDonald was a prominent figure in the literary world of his time and was known for his imaginative and often surreal stories. He was also a close friend and collaborator of Lewis Carroll and C.S. Lewis. McDonald's work continues to be widely read and studied today.
