Fred Dekker is a film director, writer, and producer known for his work on several horror and science fiction films. He is best known for directing the 1987 film The Lost Boys, as well as the 1988 film The Monster Squad. Dekker has also written and directed several other films, including Nightbeast and Troll 2. He is a native of the United States and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
