Everett Fox
Scholar of Jewish scripture and language
Everett Fox was an American biblical scholar and translator. He was born in 1922 in New York City. Fox studied at Columbia University and later at Harvard University, where he earned his Ph.D. in Hebrew literature. He is best known for his work on the meaning of Jewish scripture, particularly in relation to language and interpretation. Fox passed away in 2009.
