Dr. Ellen Ochoa is a NASA astronaut, engineer, and director of the Johnson Space Center. She was the first Hispanic woman in space and has flown on two Space Shuttle missions. Ochoa has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas and has worked at NASA for over 30 years.
