He is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. Dr. Goldfarb has published numerous papers on kidney disease, including nephrotic syndrome, and has served as an editor for several medical journals.
