Dr. Alan Farthing is a British physician and surgeon who has served as the personal physician to Queen Elizabeth II. He has worked at the Royal Family's private medical unit since 1984. Farthing has also worked as a surgeon at the Royal Free Hospital in London. He has been in a long-term relationship with Jill Dando and was engaged to her at the time of her murder.
