Doug Adams was a British comedian, writer, and actor best known for his work with the Monty Python comedy troupe. He is also the author of several science fiction novels, including The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Adams was known for his quick wit and clever writing style, which has been widely influential in popular culture. He passed away in 2001 at the age of 49.
