David Polson
HIV activist and advocate
David Polson was a prominent HIV activist and advocate who fought tirelessly for the rights of people living with HIV/AIDS in Australia. He was a key figure in the Australian AIDS activism movement of the 1980s and 1990s. Polson was also a strong advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and was a vocal critic of homophobia and transphobia. He passed away in 2023, and his state funeral was held in Australia to honor his legacy.
