David Gelb is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. He has worked as a writer for numerous television shows, including The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and 30 Rock. His most notable work is the award-winning documentary Jiro Dreams of Sushi (2011), which he directed. He has also created other acclaimed documentaries like Chef's Table: Legends.
