Dan Shersty
Former Airman and Anti-Racist Activist
Dan Shersty was a US Airman stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas. He was a leader in the local Anti-Racist Action group and was known for his activism and community involvement. Tragically, he was murdered in 1998 along with his friend Lin Newborn. Dan's story is a powerful example of the dangers of hate crimes and the importance of standing up against injustice.
