Christopher Tolkien is a British author and scholar, best known as the son of J.R.R. Tolkien. He has edited and published many of his father's works, including "The Silmarillion" and "Unfinished Tales of Númenor and Middle-earth". Christopher Tolkien has written several books on his father's life and works, and has been a frequent speaker on Tolkien scholarship. He is based in Oxford, England.
