Cai Tao is a Chinese ceramic artist and craftsman known for his work in the Three-Color Glaze technique. He was born in 1955 in Liaoning, China, and studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. Cai is a prominent figure in the development of modern Chinese ceramics and has exhibited his work internationally. He is also a professor at the China Academy of Art.
