Band Aid was a British charity supergroup formed in 1984 to raise funds for famine relief in Ethiopia. The group consisted of a number of prominent British musicians, including Bob Geldof, Midge Ure, and Bono. Band Aid's music and message helped to raise awareness and funds for the crisis, and the group's legacy continues to inspire charity work and humanitarian efforts around the world.
