Ashford & Simpson are an American soul duo composed of husband-and-wife team Marvin and Tammi Simpson. Born in 1944 and 1946, respectively, they rose to fame in the 1970s with their smooth, soulful harmonies and hit songs like 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' and 'You're All I Need to Get By'. The duo has won multiple Grammy Awards and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
