The Maid Murderer
Anthony Darrel Hines is a convicted murderer who was convicted for the 1985 murder of Catherine Jean Jackson Jenkins, a hotel maid working just outside of Nashville. Hines was found guilty of rape and stabbing Jenkins, despite turning himself into police. He maintains his innocence and has requested clemency from the Governor of Tennessee, who has denied it. Hines is scheduled to be executed on Thursday, August 13th.
