Ali Abbasi is a Danish-Iranian film director, screenwriter, and producer. He was born in Tehran, Iran, and moved to Denmark with his family at a young age. Abbasi has directed several films, including The Square and The Square: The Movie, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Best Director award at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.
