Alfred Burt was a young jazz musician who composed fifteen legendary Christmas carols between 1942 and 1954. He was the son of an Episcopal minister and grew up with a passion for music. Despite his early death at the age of 33, Burt's carols continue to be widely performed and appreciated today.
