Zelda + Nintendo Direct Predictions, Sony State of Play, Xbox Cloud Update | Spawncast #478

0:00So, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Spawncast episode 478, the pre Zelda pre-direct episode. So a lot to go over there, some predictions, some thoughts on that, and some games come out as well that we can talk about that state of play happen. And we have some odd stuff with Xbox and their cloud gaming update. So a lot to get to here tonight. Broaden some people, of course. Josie is back. Josie is returning. Hello. How's it going over there? Happy to be back. I'm good. I've been working. I tried to do the DK challenge with one day left. I saw that you were trying. You were trying. I saw you online. I got to 600 banana, vanadium gems, and then right as I activated the last thing, it deactivated. So did not hit it. What? You hit the time limit for midnight or whatever? Yes. Why don't you do it sooner? That's the question. My fault.

1:00It is my fault. I'm not saying it wasn't my fault, but I didn't think. I don't know. The last few ones were not that crazy. So I was like, okay, it'll take me max like a day to do this. It took. I was grinding vanadium gems because I didn't do the post game. Oh, you did post game. Oh, yeah. That was my issue. I had to get I had to get 200 vanadium gems to unlock the thing. And it just took way longer than I thought. So I'm kind of probably broken. But just like the final rehearsal, you need 500 or you need 600. I think 600. 600. 600. Yeah, if you didn't grind those out because you can beat the game with like how many can you beat the game like 300 something. I beat the game with like 405, I think, is what I ended with. Yeah, so you have to go there and collect so much. Yeah, unfortunate. Yeah, it was a rough time. But you know, fun, fun in practice. I hope they do it again so I can actually like to do it this time. But. No. I can't close though. I was like August 30. I was, I was, I was cut. Yeah. Yeah, I cut mine close.

2:00That's what mine is August 30. I had like the last two to do and then the final rehearsal and the boss rush. The boss rush was tough. That slug guy is insane. Like I was fine with everything else and then the slug guy just killed me. You just got to use the snake, the snake like the, the pausum and then that's usually kind of like the strat with him. Yeah, I just hate the way that one controls. So I tried to stay away. Yeah, the boss rush. Yeah, that was probably the word because the final rehearsal somehow I did that the first try. I have no idea. I just never even got the chance. So I cheated on the final rehearsal. I use the, I use the, the, the, the DK Mibo. I'm like, you get like the con glitters and then it makes it really easy for you to go down like that, like that, those all those fights. Oh, it was the first, it was the first part that was. Yeah, that first part was cooking me. I'm like, what the heck? And then I saw what people were saying on the, oh, you can just use the, the, the con glitters and then you just got on top of it and you can, and he just bounces off of everything. You don't got to do any, I'm like, oh my god, this is great.

3:01So then once I did that, I was able to go through the, like the last part of the final. It was easy after that. The biggest thing I cheesed in it was like when it was like, you have to get, you have to demolish the entire thing in like 20 seconds and I couldn't figure out how to do that until I switched the banan or to the elephant bananza and just did it all before entering the thing. So I got three, three, you know, three demolition. I just need a lot of it now before I add. Yeah, exactly. Well, they're, they'll be sending me cards apparently at some point. I don't know. I think October, they're going to send out emails or something and, um, they're going to get cards. Yeah, they're going to website. Then you go there and then you can order the cards from there. Yes, yes. Hard breaking. Let me know if you don't want those John. Yeah. Or at least be a video of them. So oh, yeah, I got it. I'm turning for me. I'm going to be a video of them. Yeah, the 90s one with Gambit and Wolverine, the morph guy. What's funny is the first season, I was like, bro, I need to drop this man because this is so old. But I stuck with it. The animation was all. The animation was old. The animation was old. Some of the voice acting was in. But especially in the second season, I'm on the end of the third season right now. It's getting more interesting. A lot more wacky characters are showing up. Like Savage Land, Mutants, the Shiar Empire. It's fun just learning about all the obscure characters. What the hell? Sorry. Final Fantasy, one of the games, they had a demo that came out. And it's incredible. So I've been playing a ton of that. Final resonance here. Yeah. I think I played like an hour of it so far. People were saying it's like a three to five hour demo. Just the start of the game.

7:04Yeah, just the start of the game. But it's just good to have term-based Final Fantasy back. Like I think it works. It works really well. Character's are great. So far, it's fun. Random encounters, but it's not as annoying as I thought it would be. So sound effects, all that. It's Final Fantasy. It feels and looks like Final Fantasy. It doesn't feel like a mobile game. So I'm really enjoying it. I have it on expert. So enemies are hitting hard, but it's fun. You have to use all of your attacks and skills and stuff. So it's good. I'm there at an issue with random encounters. I saw that. People were talking about it on the good old Twitter X. Great place. Yeah. This you can conversation. This is the day. Yes. Yeah, I mean, I understand how people don't like them. It's better to just see the enemy on there. But yeah, like the gameplay moves so quick in this one. You can speed things up. And it lets you know, like there's like an indicator. It's like when it turns red, like those about to be- I saw that. It's like a radar flip. Yeah, a little radar thing. Yeah. Which I don't think Octopath has, but this feels better to play than Octopath.

8:04Like I'm liking it more than that. And definitely better than the Adventures of Elliott. Definitely better than that game. So I'm enjoying it. Yeah, I'm ready for that game to come out. I'll be picking that up day one. Yeah. Yeah, day one. About RGT over there. Hello. How's it going there, Sean? I'm all right. Thanks for asking. You're good. Yeah. Let's say what games did it? Okay, you talked about the demo for resonance. Anyone else playing in good this week? I played Peace Walker. Peace, what? Oh, interesting. Okay. Had you played Peace Walker before? Or is this first time playing it? First time through. I am in that chapter two right now. I think I- You're playing in the collection. In the collection. Yes. Okay. On PS5, good old, um. I thought about being performative and playing it on PSP. Did you see the graphics option they have in there? No. In the options, if you go in there, they have different setups. Oh, I just like put everything to Max.

9:05Yeah, well, yeah, yeah. Because it's like one has like, I think the original assets, but it tries to smooth it out. And there's one that puts like the new assets in there instead. Uh, it, it like has a description as to what each one was. There was more like visual modes or graphics modes than I was expecting for a game like that. What, what can you, what can you do? Like is on Switch as well? Is it just a PlayStation 5 for that? Uh, that's a good question. I had it up on the PS5 when I saw those modes. And I was like, that's interesting. They have all this, they have all this stuff here. I mean, Sean, did you get just the, did you just get MGS 4 Sean? Or do you also get the peace Walker bundled in? No, I got everything, but I didn't even bother like looking at the options. I mean, I guess I can look in peace Walker specifically. Yeah. Yeah. Hold on. I'll check. Yeah. It was, uh, it was just interesting. It had like a description for us. Like, oh, that's kind of cool. You can make it look, I guess kind of like the old version, but smoothed out or just used the newer assets and smoothed out instead. So really, like platinum points. Oh, wow. What do you think of peace Walker so far, Ratic?

10:05I've been really addicted to this game. Uh, this is like managing my team, my mother base, assigning all my recruits to different roles. Like, I want you to be part of my cooking team. So like my team morale goes high, sending people to my medical team, my recon team, military team. And the biggest thing for me in Sean, you can help me out with this. So this is like so. This is really a predicester to Metal Gear Solid 5. This was like the full-time recovery. More of a gameplay focus, especially there's more gameplay in this game than for I love for. But at least with peace Walker, you get to play it more. The biggest thing for me is that there's no crawling. There's you can only, um, crouch walk, which I thought was weird. Because I think important. You can crawl. But you can't crouch walk in that. So that was odd. But stories been pretty intriguing. I met, um, I met characters like Chico and Huey and Chico.

11:05Yeah, talking to me about dinosaurs and urban myths. Yeah, that's another thing. Like there's no traditional codec calls. It's all like briefing files. You just listen to before the mission. Which is fine. I was just kind of thrown off by that. Is the cutscenes kind of in almost like a kind of a comic. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what I was thinking of. Yeah. Okay. And there's like quick time events. So like, um, you have to like end your green a launcher. The helicopter during the cutscenes stuff like that. But it works well on pretty much addicted to it. Now it's what I'm going to be playing until like other games drop this month. But apparently it's a very long game. So I got a lot of time to sink in. That was always a game that got like people looked at it as too big for the PSP back then. It was. Yeah, that's like massive. You want to do this going crazy. It does have them. It has original mode adjusted mode and high resolution mode. Yeah. Yes, there are a couple of them in there.

12:05So I didn't even know that was a thing. I just played it as standard. Oh, yeah, that's fine. I mean, it's at the end of it's a PSP in the end of the day. So they can only do so much. But it's still interesting that they decided to at least this is the thing I've noticed with these collections so far. I know they went back and did some updates for the first one. I don't like the switch to for example, got some stuff for Metal Gear Solid 2 and. This in general, they are treating these collections pretty seriously. Like for Metal Gear Solid, I'll give them that. Like Konami's actually put in some effort into these collections. Well, they better. They were initially they really didn't it wasn't until they did the update and then one that they kind of locked in. Yeah, lock it in like there maybe there's a Metal Gear Solid 1 remake on the way is getting everything set up. Did you guys see that report from Jordan and middle ear that they are thinking about a third collection. Oh, yeah, there are kids and PS5 ports of 5 and ground zero. I did see that. Yep, I would expect the third one.

13:05I was just trying to think of what like they put one other game in there something else. Because you were thinking yeah, I was thinking maybe something like that. And that's it. Well, that's pretty much it because twin stakes. It's probably going to be locked in Nintendo forever. So that's for like an NSO. That would be an awesome NSO release though, but you're right. Nintendo has a set had some kind of say in that with publishing or what have you. So I think it'd be cool though if they said hey twin snakes is in the game cube NSO app now. So that was that was such an interesting Metal Gear Solid game too. That is some weird stuff with that game. So any chance they put survive in that collection. Oh gosh. No. I hope they've heard that game. Yeah, I don't know if they talk about that game. They want to pretend like a game doesn't exist. I feel like. Yeah. But yeah, they're ready to move on from that. Apparently they're going to I think they're going to try to make a like a brand brand new Metal Gear Solid game at some point. I think a new ones coming. Yeah. I think they're going to make an attempt at it.

14:05So they have my support. Until hold on until a keeper suddenly. Until the keeper comes back. They wouldn't do that. They no matter which son like what. Arrow the Metal Gear timeline. Would you want this new game to be like a sequel before another prequel? That's actually a very good question. And I don't know. I don't know what the answer would. I got answer. What they should just make a whole different thing. And just start from there. Like a new character and everything like jump ahead or new character jump far ahead into the future. Oh wow. Go from there. I don't know. Snake is such a snake makes the like the whole project so much more. Yeah. I can be. You know, revenge into two. It can be snake. They can bring. They can be like another clone of snake or something.

15:05Just into the future. Okay. Or was or some video game it up. Yeah. Somehow they got some DNA from him when he died or whatever. And then. Yeah, some nonsense like that. They did that shit the whole freaking series. Here's the real question. If twin snakes comes to NSO, Josie will you play Metal Gear Solid on there? Sure. We'll try it out. It's an incentive has to put it in now. This this week you're going to see a pop up in the direct. I'm excited. She says that and she doesn't play Shen. Which I bought at full price. I didn't tell you to do that. And I didn't want you to do that. And then you did it. But she said you would play it. And I did play it. I played like seven hours of it. That's a that's a lie from the pit of hell. No, it's not. I'm on the like I'm on the doc thing when you go try to find the guy at the doc. Who are you trying to find? Mark probably. You got to talk to Mark. Mark will help you out. Did you get a job at the doc yet?

16:05No. Well, see there's much to do. Seven hours. That's nothing. You got it. She said semi right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Josie Josie struggling through that game. You don't you don't like that. Right. I mean, just struggling through that game. Like, man, we make it be played as trash. Some people don't like peak. It's also on it's on steam. I have it on steam, which is like. I don't know. Like it's not as easy to play as like a switch or something. But on the rock. You work on rock. That's true. Yeah. It is not on the wait. No, no, no. I'm not going to be playing that game. I'm not going to be playing that game. It's the first one because. Yeah. I have I have people that work at Sega trying to get it done. Yeah. Things are in motion. The way you said that was so funny. Gosh. I did I did play only moussa. I am almost. You know, I'm almost seven hours into that game. I sound. I played it. I forgot. I played a ton of that game too.

17:05I played. I got a review code from Capcom. And I've been playing the heck out of that too. A few days ago for me. And I've been playing. I got I played on the PS5 Pro. And yeah, about yeah, I'm six hours, 43 minutes in. So I like to get a lot. It is very good. It is very good. And I was going into it with. I mean, it's been a while since the last one. It was on the PS2. So we're like 20 years removed, I think. 20 years. And so I was going to I played the they did like the remaster remake. Whatever of the the other ones. And I was fine. I played them, but it's still was like the locked camera angles. And this is just way more modernized with action games now in mind. And the combat is like incredible in this game. It is really, really good. Like a sword combat, the weightiness of it. The you have so many different things you can do to counter enemies. So you can parry them or you can do it deflect by holding block. And then pressing. Pressing like in my case, cross.

18:05Like I guess the B B or a. And and the whole time, it's actually just trash talk in everybody. And it's great. It is just constantly yelling at any of the smaller enemies or the bosses. Like seven legit conversations with the bosses as you are fighting them going through stages, which is interesting. But it is just a super. It's just a very satisfying. Action game of sorts. The thing I'm not as high on is probably that some of the exploration. Because it's not easy to. There's some elevation aspects to it climbing ladders jumping at times. It's not really shown very well on the map as to how to do that. Like where to go exactly. But I'm like it's just kind of like a village that you're walking around in so far. Most of the game and people are saying it's like a 20 hour game. So I'm not even halfway done. I guess. But the bosses are awesome. So far I've beaten six of them. Like almost one an hour. And they're like that just right. Level of difficulty. It's not like souls difficulty where you're going to fight the same boss 20 times before you finally get it. But it's it's somewhere in the middle, I think it's it's a it's a nice level difficulty.

19:08There's like a ton of stuff to upgrade all your weapons, your armor, but then also tons of skill trees. Like there's constant stuff that you're finding and leveling up. So I'm having a blast with this game. Go do it. Jay. Was I going to say anything? Oh, I know you said you're playing it too. Oh, yeah, yeah, I have a I have a PS5 pro copy. I haven't put too much into that. I put most of it on switch two because that's what the review code was for. So frame rate not as good as from what I play from the demo, but not bad. Definitely better than the demo version on the switch to when I was playing game check. I was talking with some of my friends and it runs a little bit better when you do that. So it's kind of stabilized because the the win it's windowed. So it was a bit more stable in the uncapped frame rate when you do that. So I noticed that, but it's actually not bad. I'm enjoying it. It's fun. Like you said, all this stuff, you know, I'm about maybe four or five hours in. And yeah, everything that you said, I kind of mirror.

20:08You know, what I will say though is that it's a lot more funny than I thought the game would be. It's more comedic. Yeah, it's more comedic than I thought. I thought I was going to be a bit more funny than I thought the game would be. I thought I thought I was going to be a bit more serious and it's not as I mean it's serious, but there's actually quite a number of like funny interesting parts. The facial expressions are crazy in this game. They're really good. Like that actor, like I guess you passed away like he was like a famous Japanese actor. That was a that was a perfect choice for that. You know, perfect choice. So I'm playing it in Japanese. The Japanese adds so much to just like the tension. I did try it out in English. And it's it's okay. But you can tell that the Japanese voice acting was what the game was supposed to be. So I'm enjoying that too. Yeah, the it's so Oden Moussha the comedy this time though they have like the opening which you'll see right away. It's almost like three stooges level of times. Yeah, I played the only Moussha games before.

21:09So I know that there's comedy in there, but with that it's been 20 years, right? And the added level of right technology and facial animations things like that have made it significantly more impactful. The comedy in my opinion because they can do that more like the close the zoom in that certain things that he says like the character itself. Like I said the guy has crazy charisma. And I know they've gotten people before, but this might be the best person that they've gotten to do this, you know. And like I said, like the technology they have in today's day makes the community value even like stick out more to me. Yeah, and I will say this Sean we've talked about this quite a bit this generation about like kind of the static environments and battles in this game though things are like exploding around you as you're swinging a sword or like I have for example, I have like a staff that has blades on it, but when he's spinning around it'll make like a mini tornado around you. And at one point it picked up there was like a almost like a lantern kind of nearby it picked it up and it blew up in fire. And then all of a sudden the tornado turned into like a fire tornado because like wrapped all the fire and started throwing it around.

22:12And so like there's a lot of destruction the environment actually plays a pretty big role in a lot of fights like I countered one I think I recorded it so like oh like a stuck out to me. It's like that's pretty cool. I did like a parry of the person and when you parry them and hit the button you'll throw them kind of near you a little bit just by you. So they have like these posts in the building that I was fighting in and like the enemy monster enemy thing ran face first into it and they actually bounced their face off and fell backwards and yelled. So it looks really cool in motion. I will say like I do wish that there was a hardwood from the beginning like I know that there's you know some of the boss but I just wish that they added that's one thing that I would say is that they have the story mode and then they have like the easy mode. I wish they would have just included this the hard mode. I assume there's going to be like a nightmare difficulty or something after you beat it. Yeah, I assume you're going to go through with all your skills again that way they can crank the difficulty like way up. Yeah, because if they made that available I assume from the start when you weren't level you probably wouldn't be able to do much.

23:16Probably I would like just like a hard mode and then that also that nightmare so for difficulty levels with what I'm looking for but yeah you are right if they include just a nightmare mode and you know then I would be really difficult without the upgrades. Yeah, I but that's that's Capcom they were you play through the games their games usually multiple times and I assume this is going to be a similar way although this is longer than what we get out of say a reasonable Requiem so it's going to be a bit longer than that. But good game good game very happy with what I'm seeing so far well I'm going to keep going get through the game. I feel like I'm making progress pretty quick although I am coming like almost directly off of mortal shell to which was definitely harder than this game so it's similar title that with the action based. Set up you playing you playing Sean. No, the mall is in town this week and so like every day it was other at my grandmas or my uncle's house no more wrestling mods this week either. Nothing big. Well, one actually did come out.

24:20But it's kind of just a smaller project but there is another one coming out this month I don't know anything about it though. Hey, Sean, do you have I forgot that I bought this game on Amazon I bought Tarot on the switch one and it has like three Tarot games on one car. Just do you have that I don't have it physically I have it digitally. Okay, I forgot that I bought it and it was like in my mailbox for like weeks or something. I just I didn't know if you had it or not. I got two or three rules. I think it was so good I never played it as a kid and then I played as an adult and I was like wow this is so different. Me go over to we go over Josie. You play anything anything good. Beario card. Okay, okay. So it's just that and DK huh? Yeah. Was that after DK because you couldn't get the cards can be the challenges. That's what happens. Well, hold on, which one on which which Mario which Mario card?

25:22I played Mark at world. Oh, I don't know if you played eight with the new update. No, I actually was thinking about going back to it but since I moved I cannot find that cartridge. Hold on, Sean, is that the one you lost? Yes, I can't find my knee there. There's a case in my house that has a bunch of switch one physical games and I have no idea where the fuck it is. That's the that's the same with me. I have like a little like yeah. I couldn't find mine either but it was in my switch OLED. That's in my closet. So I found it. I updated it and I checked out the just I just played like one one 150 CC race just to see the update. And yeah, it's a little bit faster. I don't have eight people to play with. So I can try. That's really cool. Yeah, but it's there. It's definitely there. That's ridiculous. People who are part with eight people is beautiful. That'd be. Okay. I got to find it. Because every so people that even like me. So I mean that just be like very hard for me to even do like at all.

26:23Like I, I, I am. Like I've got like three friends. So like that'd be difficult. You see we have over here. Uh, DC back as this child. I got a wonder book. Where can I get some games? 27:26What about this fan? 2001 gaming fans has appreciate the shout out yesterday, RGT real one. Oh yeah, no problem. If you're interested in NBA 2K27 on the Switch 2, his video popped up on my feed and it was actually very well done. He shows like the different modes and stuff. And performance mode actually looks pretty damn good. There's really not a huge difference between that and like the higher visual mode and it's 60 frames. I was actually pleasantly surprised with how decent it looks. Okay. It's just being lazy last year, right? Yeah. So take that power from last year to this year? Yeah. And that game really, man, really soured me last year. Big he says yo, what's up, Swancast crew? You'll ever play ballbreakers on the PS1. I think I did. The name sounds familiar though. It does sound familiar. I found it. Okay, is run around spin it.

28:27Okay. Well, balancing and rolling around the level. I've not played this game. No. Hey, Jake T. Have you played balls 3D? You should play that one that. No, that's a, that's a, that's, no, that's a quality game. I don't care what anyone says. Has a good soundtrack too. Daniel says it's so funny. People seem 100% confident that Zelda will release November when December is a possibility in my opinion. First week of December. I don't, I don't, the reason why I don't think it's a possibility is because there is a very big shopping season with Black Friday. And if you do it in December, you skip that. So I just don't see Nintendo skipping that with Zelda. That seems unlikely, but we'll see. I could maybe see it because of Pokemon. They don't want to step on the toes. What Pokemon? 29:30I did, like I said, at my mom was in town this week, so I didn't really get a chance to catch anything. I have heard that like the addiction to the cards is just like the whole board just came out. Pokemon cards. Well, no, one piece Pokemon, Yu-Gi-O, any card. Yeah, shit, that he doesn't even fucking know he's just buying. What? Yes. Honestly, begs for money, is just throwing it away? Well, no, because what it is is in order for him to open up a pack on the stream, he has to make like $100. Or, if a person, if an individual gives a $50 donation, that's one pack. If a person gives $100 donation, that's another pack. So you could technically stack it. And then, you know, so one person gives $100, another person gives $50. The one we went to, they had a whole, I think they rebuilt all of New York and it was like in the middle of this large room and the lights and stuff worked and they had a base ball stadium. Oh, yeah, they have that in the middle of LA. Yeah, it was just kind of neat. Like that was cool. But otherwise it was just like, I can build a little card trying to race down the track and win. And they had, I think, one of those 40 theaters where it shoots like water at you and shakes the ground and stuff when you're watching.

38:41That's a Lego set. Final Fantasy residence we talked about. That is out October 22nd with the demo. It's now live. Gundam Rogue Orbit. That looks pretty cool. I'm interested in that one. But they were also in the news because they made an entire video kind of bearing Microsoft a bit like with the Xbox. He's like boxing all the Xbox stuff up, taking all the extra things he had like Tim Shaperhead just taking them off the shelves and then they announced a Kickstarter. Not in this presentation but separate from it. But in the Kickstarter they talked about how they are having all these projects.

39:44They're pitching internally. They showed them off and if you're a part of the Kickstarter you can vote on them and help decide which games get made. And then at the bottom it says if they accumulate $100 million from this they will make brutal legend too. And they like triple down on it. They're like no we're serious. We will actually make that which is weird because they were just under Microsoft and they didn't make it. They didn't make anything. Well, they made Keeper and Kill. They were there for seven fucking years just getting these blank checks from Phil Spencer and they did nothing. And I'm supposed to sympathize and empathize with them. No, I'm sorry. You had a golden goose opportunity to make anything you wanted and you made a game. Brett looked it up on Friday. There was nine people playing Killin' on Steam. Nine. It's a multi fucking player game. And you want people, not much on. You want people to give you money for a game jam.

44:58That's I feel like we don't, I mean, we don't really see a lot of that. So that's kind of like an action almost at times fantasy game too though. So I'm not really sure what it's going into being, but it's different. It's an action RPG. It's like a character action RPG with you and some of that other beast thingy that you have. So yeah, it looks pretty cool. It looks kind of cool. As long as the controls are good and the gameplay solid should be solid game from Konami. See, my co-punk, this is going into PlayStation Plus. Oh, so it's like the RE4 of Dino crisis? No. No. It's very much action though. It's not it doesn't play like RE4, but the action is like taken up to the like the next level. It's always action. It's it's it's fun, but I prefer the first game just for the like the tone of it and the setting and the gameplay. Yeah. And then make man X command mission just to make a random big one. 47:00This feels like something that would have been more that like weird Nintendo and a so GameCube announcement, but hey, I mean Sony got it for PlayStation Plus. Yeah. I'm not here to tell people the game is incredible. It's if you look it up. It's but it is a turn based RPG and it's very strange the cap cut. That was when Capcom was definitely experimenting back then with the Mega Man franchise and they never really did it again like that. So this is a traditional turn based RPG in the Mega Man X universe. It's no final fantasy. So it's no. I heard it was hard. Is it like a hard game or a yeah, it's hard because you don't you don't really have a ton of abilities or options necessarily in the game. Well, it's it's also like it's hard if you don't grind. You're going to get clacked at certain parts, but if you grind, it's not that bad. All right. So the game I have to use the rewind. You probably know. Yeah. Yeah. We're getting closer to Mega Man. The idea that on ClickR3 where if they put the demo for that Mega Man Legends that they ended up just canceling, if they put the demo into a collection just to see if how excited people get for that, because you know, they still have it. It would kind of be a way for them to have it that extra game because they would have Legends 1, 2, Misadventures, a Tronbond, and then maybe the demo and that would be enough. I feel like and then you go on the PlayStation blog and there's a pre-order bonuses for like a classic Dr. Hill costume, which is so funny to me. But that's the most intriguing thing about this game for me is that the connection to the original game and I'm hoping we see characters other than Dr. Hill like Sam, Russ and Peace Hayden or Josh in the game. So that would be pretty cool. Next one was a big announcement. Maybe the biggest announcement for Sony, this entire show, Grand The Thought of DualSense controllers. Huge. I mean, they look cool. It's just like I have a DualSense edge. So it's like I'm not going to buy a standard controller again, you know, but they have Grand The Thought of engraved on a PlayStation controller. They keep aligning themselves with this massive release. So that's your theory about the PS5 blog post with the PS5 Pro details, maybe some PS5 Pro plates GTA 6.

Maybe it couldn't be this month later this month for PS5 Pro enhancements of some kind for that game. We got the release date on that April 8th. And they also have a trilogy edition announced, which is good for me. I mean, if you haven't played any of these games yet, you can get all three of them digitally like as one bundle for $85. I mean, the trailer look cool, but like I was kind of like, was zoning out because I don't want to see any more of this game. Yeah, we'll go 10 minutes. You know, it's like, I don't guys like I'm excited. They've done multiple extended gameplay looks and like the fit system that's cool. They're showing off. I get why they're doing this. It's just a matter of like, you know, not really anything like big first party new exciting stuff that we didn't know about, you know, there wasn't anything that could overcome the chat either. That's on the 8th, 10 am Eastern 7 am Pacific time. And then they have a full general direct the next day on the 9th, 7 am Pacific 10 am Eastern. And then following that is a treehouse live that they say is going to last 110 minutes. The Zelda direct, they say will be 30 minutes and the general direct is 45 minutes. So there was like, that's a lot of stuff from the Nintendo in the span of two days. Especially in like September. I mean, I know we think of the E3 kind of time period over the summer as when you would see something like this, but I do it in September. So first is the the Zelda 40th anniversary direct.

1:12:40We did have earlier today, which I think everyone was expecting it anyway. The Daniel R.P.K. person, they they do a lot of coverage of movies and trailers and actors and they're very locked in for that kind of thing. They they they are saying that we will see the trailer for the Legend of Zelda movie this week coming up, which is expected, right? Is that the Zelda universe? Right. Great leak there. Well, I think I think more or less they have knowledge of the trailer itself, like actually being like done in production, everything. I'm just trying to see what it looks like. Me too. 1:20:52And then I guess now we know at hindsight, they were also planning to send out physical cards. And I assume Nintendo America is going to handle that. So I figured that's why, but you're right, if they announced that it's worldwide, I'd that'd be kind of interesting just to see. Can I ask a question though, if you are in a different country, do you even have access? You have access to the challenges though, right? It's just not the cards. Yeah, I thought so, right? I think so, right? Because you can always do region free as well. Like you can do a region like, does it even show up in like other regions, like the cards and all that? There's like a few questions. 1:31:05Well, and he feels like, I don't like playing Mario in Smash. Like I know a lot of people do, but he just, he feels really lethargic sometimes. He's old. Yeah. We need it. If it was a more modern moveset with the games that like you play like galaxy and stuff, he'd be much better to play as he was more players back then, but not anymore. Not as funny. If they do that, I think they're going to have to go with like a much smaller roster at the beginning at least. Absolutely. Absolutely. It's going to be a small roster. You can't, I don't think they're going to want to do all the really like the licensing one. That's a licensing nightmare. But you're not going to be able to get all those characters because remember, they just built on top of Smash 4. This one going to have to, you're going to have to build a new netcode, you're going to have to build a new online, you're going to have to build probably a way better single player campaign because to make up for the lack of characters. And once again, everybody needs new movesets for the most part. Like everybody needs new movesets. We need new characters. We need new movesets. So yeah, I do think they should keep, you know, third party characters. You got to keep standard Sonic Mega Man Pac-Man.

I would recommend it if you if you were going to play it portably. The full release is a little bit better than the demo from what I played even not doing the whole window thing. But if you want to put I mean the game plays fun portable like John says like it has the VR so it's smooth things out pretty nice. And then when you read, why are we doing this? They say, oh, because cloud gaming is growing exponentially. So it obviously affects more than 4% of people.
