Hr: Zagreb je ljeti prepun života, čak i tijekom Adventa koji u srpnju djeluje pomalo čudno.
En: Zagreb in the summer is full of life, even during Advent, which seems a bit odd in July.
Hr: Svjetla obasjavaju grad, a ulice su pune ljudi i mirisa kuhanog vina.
En: Lights illuminate the city, and the streets are filled with people and the smell of mulled wine.
Hr: U ovom šarenom metežu, Ivan stoji na uglu Trga bana Jelačića.
En: In this colorful chaos, Ivan stands at the corner of Trg bana Jelačića.
Hr: Gleda oko sebe, traži rješenje.
En: He looks around, searching for a solution.
Hr: Ivan je mlad poduzetnik.
En: Ivan is a young entrepreneur.
Hr: Ima planove za novi početak.
En: He has plans for a fresh start.

Hr: Sjetio se Marte, prijateljice iz djetinjstva.
En: He remembers Marta, a childhood friend.
Hr: Iako su se nedavno posvađali, zna da će mu pomoći.
En: Although they recently argued, he knows she will help him.
Hr: Marta je stajala uz štand s medenjacima.
En: Marta was standing next to a gingerbread stand.
Hr: Kad je Ivan prišao, brzo mu je pročitala zabrinutost s lica.

Hr: "Što se događa, Ivane?
En: "What's happening, Ivane?"
Hr: " pitala je.

Hr: "Marto, izgubio sam sav novac!
En: "Marto, I've lost all my money!
Hr: Ne znam što da radim," rekao je, glasom punim očaja.
En: I don't know what to do," he said, his voice filled with despair.
Hr: Marta je duboko udahnula.
En: Marta took a deep breath.
Hr: "Hajdemo vidjeti zajedno.
En: "Let's find it together."
Hr: "Dok su hodali kroz mnoštvo, Ivan je osjećao kako ga panika polako napušta.
En: As they walked through the crowd, Ivan felt his panic slowly subsiding.
Hr: Marta je primijetila neobičnog čovjeka s prepoznatljivim novčanikom koji je stajao uz bunar na trgu.
En: Marta noticed an unusual man with a recognizable wallet standing next to the well in the square.
Hr: "Mislim da je to tvoj novčanik, Ivane," šapnula je.
En: "I think that's your wallet, Ivane," she whispered.
Hr: Približili su se čovjeku i Marta je, sa svojom odlučnošću, zatražila novčanik natrag.
En: They approached the man, and Marta, with her determination, asked for the wallet back.
Hr: Nakon par neugodnih trenutaka, čovjek se povukao i vratio novčanik.
En: After a few awkward moments, the man backed down and returned the wallet.
Hr: Bilo je dovoljno novca unutra da Ivan konačno kupi poklon.
En: There was enough money inside for Ivan to finally buy the gift.
Hr: Olakšanje preplavi Ivana, ali je istovremeno shvatio nešto važnije.
En: Relief washed over him, but he realized something more important.
Hr: Okrenuo se prema Marti.
En: He turned to Marta.
Hr: "Hvala ti, što bih ja bez tebe?
En: "Thank you, what would I do without you?"
Hr: " rekao je iskreno.
En: he said sincerely.
Hr: "Prijatelji smo, Ivane.
En: "We're friends, Ivane.
Hr: Zajedno smo jači," odgovorila je Marta s osmijehom.
En: Together, we're stronger," replied Marta with a smile.
Hr: U zagrljaju mnoštva i pod svjetlima Adventa, Ivan je spoznao da pravi dar nije materijalan.
En: In the embrace of the crowd and under the Advent lights, Ivan realized that the true gift was not material.
Hr: Bio je to dar prijateljstva.
En: It was the gift of friendship.
Hr: Toga ljeta u Zagrebu, Ivan je konačno naučio cijeniti odnose više od svojih ambicija.
