Shoppers and families got caught in the mess, with some barricaded inside supermarkets, like Sainsbury's and Marks & Spencer, terrified as kids, turned aisles into chaos zones, witnesses described pure panic, car stalled, and locals ducking for cover or filming at all. Police made five arrests of teenage girls for assaults and shoplifting, slapped dispersal orders in Clapham, and a 36 hour one in nearby, solohol, after more anti-social antics. Shops closed on advice, and officers boosted patrols to push back the crowds. These viral clips from TikTok have cops worried about copycats popping up nationwide while kids are off school, but they're ramping up action to shut. It down before it spreads further.
