Can't believe so many episodes now. Was it $596? Did I say that right? Nice episode. $596 of your show. My name is Gary and this bad boy is still as far as we know. The only show. Go in live, originating a Saskatoon on the internet for 4-5 PM Monday Friday. Got the market cornered and we always say if you want to stand out in the crazy, crazy world that is the internet, you better be doing something different. It's hard to find different things to do. So I'll show everybody else out there trying to do things the proper way and trying to make this world a better place. Got the phenom on the ones and twos today you saw them there before. Phenom say hello one more time. There he is. Crush and paper mario 2 on the old twitch stream there. Rate up until pretty much right before this show started. So always a pleasure to have the phenom in studio. We don't have the hockey yet, eh? I really meant it. It's just cool hand Luke.
So there is to it. So I'll big shout out to him and thank you to you because none of this exists without you. However you consume this content wherever you're watching it or listen to it. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. As that support keeps us growing and building and allowing us to reach more and more people and to make the golden rules cool again. You know, see with a little more, little more doable with you around. So thank you to you and to continue to thank you. We have a camera. I just realized she ran all the way across the room here. There we go. Hold on. This is the coolest camera you will ever see. Best camera in the business. There we go. We're getting there. Hold on. Bear with us. That's pretty good. They're gentlemen. It's time again for another Maggie cam. Oh, I see how she's moving again. Too many awards, girl. Got too many awards. The Maggie cam as always. Proudly proud. The presenting to you by our great, great friends. Over at pet.
Planted on eighth street. They are your pets. Natural grocer. I'm telling you. If you're a second tire of big corporations eliminating local Saskatoon businesses, mom and pop shops, telling you right now, this I fight back. It is time to make the change because they just do it the right way, man. When you walk in, you'll meet Lee Roy. They're greeting dog who is just as cute as March and they're actually a couple now. They've been dating for a couple years. So whenever they get to hang out, it's always a blast. And once you meet Lee Roy, he's like the coolest dude. He's like, hey, what's up? Welcome to store. Bro, come on up. Coming from mom and dad. Clevver's working there, Micah, Rochelle. And then they walk you through the whole thing. I'm telling you, these are the types of businesses that we want to work with because they're really, really good honest people working hard trying to do things the right way. They say it all the time. With big corporations trying to eat everything else up. It's so nice to know you have a local store ready to go for you. And they got everything, man.
We're talking jerseys, strewn throughout the store, okay? Make sure your puppy's cheering for the right team. They offer grooming services now. You give them a call, get signed up and get in there. Get your puppy groomed. Very, very affordable. I dare I say the most affordable in town. They also have the puppy spa right in the back of the store where you can go right in and wash your puppy off. No big deal. They got fridges at the back full of the raw foods. They got all the drive foods lining the left wall when you walk in. They also got deals waiting for you. All the deals. They got bones on sale every Thursday. They got treats on sale. And again, these things are strewn throughout the store. Big buckets you'll find them everywhere. All of that. Ready for you. And then you get into the fashion aisle. I'm dressed up. They got all the latest puppy fashion ready to go. They got all the medicines your puppies will ever need or all your other pets. They got you covered. They're a pet store. Pet plan. It's the name. Pet plan on A Street. One of our favorite things though. The biggest reason we love them so much is they are just like you and I. They understand it's tough to get into traditional and to businesses during traditional
business hours. They stay open after hours and on weekends. The big thank you to Kirsten and Chris for that again because they understand. They're one of us. And that means the world. So if you're sitting there saying, I don't know, maybe, maybe I'll stop by. Let me leave you with this. Two giant toy walls. Right when you walk in both sides of you and those giant toy walls, you can walk your puppy right up to them and pick out a toy and I promise you they will play with that toy all the time because they picked it. It is time to say no thank you to the big corporations trying to eliminate local. It's time to say yes, please to local businesses and this one of the best ones going. Our friends over at pet wanted on eight street. They are your pets. Natural grocery. Give me an extreme close up here. Hold on. March. You're going to go extreme. Oh, look up here. You got to look at the camera girl. There you go. Oh, now we're focusing.
Now we're back. Focus. I'm really focusing at all. Look at that. Okay. All right, that's flippant. That was officially the worst extreme close up of all time. And that's okay. Sometimes they hit sometimes they miss either way. We're going to have a great day because that's what happens around here. And the Wednesday edition of your show is also lovingly named the all the way around table edition of your show as we join our friend coach one and beautiful male, Ben Australia. And coach comment to usually joins us either in studio or inside his white truck that he lives in. And our final member. Our dude, our man, you know, so much about a sport that they literally put the sports name in front or behind the title of Mr. Let's check in yet again with one of our favorite people. Take it away. If you know, then gentlemen, Mr. baseball is back of a favorite human being on the face
of the earth. Well, well, well, get Gary, Gary, sorry. I need to stop you. Well, just did I say around world champion world world, world, world champion. Nope. I need you to straighten your hat. We're going to get that hat angle is all the way. We can't possibly do a show. You got to straighten that hat. So how do you start Paul Eddings? Is that his name? Doug Eddings. Doug Eddings, I suppose. That's start there. Yeah, you know, there's a lot of important stuff going on. But my God in seeing how sick are we a power trip and not even to umpire power tripping authority. I tell you, yes, they're the worst. They're the man. I'm going to be like boys and pro. Yeah, there you go. The protest solidarity. That's right. Beautiful. Now, here's what's happened. Hands sell. Rincolne. It's something like. Yeah. Is it rookie? First time. First ever appearance. That's right. So this is this kid's journey. Hey, you're a minor leager. You're with the St. Louis Cardinals. Awesome. Uh, you're making your way through the system. Fantastic. Recalling you up to the big leagues. Oh my God. That's incredible. You're making your debut in Denver against the Colorado Rockies.
The worst place to pitch on the planet. Yeah. Good luck. Okay. Well, fine. That's okay. I'll just go out there and do my thing. And I'm going to throw my pitches. And that's fine. And wait, why is the Empire stopping my hat? And also, I, English is not my first language. It's my second language. I don't have a ton of English and all of a sudden. I understand. You're being told. Not told. You're scolded. You're being scolded like a child. Straighten that cap, young men. This is the big leagues. We don't need your slightly a skew cap here. Not on my field. Not on Doug Eding's field. This is my field. And you will play the game the way I say. And then he proceeded to kick out everybody who yelled at him for being stupid. And now far be it. To ever agree with anything Oli Marmal does. Or anything the St. Louis Cardinals have ever represented. He's Cups fan. Because the Cardinals suck. I don't know if you've heard or not, Gary. But the Cardinals suck. I have them in a terrible or altered fantasy league.
We picked them up. It was not good. Yeah. I just mean like in the general world view sense. I mean, they're not a very good team. They got off to a good start on the season. They've been terrible lately. So they do suck in that regard. But just in the, sorry, I'm getting a little too worked. I could tell the world view the Cardinals suck. But I got to support them. I got to support my man. Apparently Oli Marmal who's getting tossed. Now, and there was a big controversy because initially it was, they said Hunter Goodman, the Rockies catcher said something. They tried to put it on him. Can he wears hat like that? He comes out and says, I said nothing like that, bro. That's bold. And then they said it was maybe Cole Carrick. Maybe it was the second batter. One of them, I can't remember which is the first, which is the second. Maybe it was Cole Carrick. He said something. The Rockies said, no, nobody said anything. Doing everything they can to try it for the blame of someone else. Yeah. So clearly, I mean, the MLB did something right for a change. And they said to Doug Eding's, hey, yeah, you're out of line.
Yeah, do it. What are you doing? And do it. There hasn't been any announcement of any sort of punishment. But I feel like this has got to be some sort of suspension and fine. Like this should be. There's something that affected the game. Yeah. And a kid who's about to make his day be his biggest moment of his life. Yeah. Just turn it. It instantly. And then, and then to see both teams in solidarity do the pro. To decide that that's pretty cool. That's like that's my baseball, right? And everyone just like that poor, I shouldn't say that poor. I'm because he brought this upon himself. Yeah. Looking around, really like, man, I really screwed up here. Didn't I? Yeah. Apparently he apologized to him, maybe like a half. I think it was because the MLB said, hey, by the way, you need to apologize to that young man. And he did. Yeah. And this isn't Doug's first issue. No, there's a horrible call that night at home plate that almost cost the Cardinals the game. And yeah, he's he was the guy I was just listening to a podcast.
You're absolutely right. Like going back to 2005 when the white socks and the Astros were in the World Series, he was the one behind home plate when he allowed AJ Prisinski to go to first base on the dropped third strike. AJ Prisinski. There's a guy that's definitely a former Cardinal in my books, although I don't mind him as a broadcast. I hated him as a player. He's dynamic. That's for sure. Sorry. I feel like I've been ranting. Like this is this is exactly what I needed to work. This is this is this is wake me up for the day. Yeah, it's early again. Yes, we're recording. In case anyone's wondering. Yeah, we're ahead of the baseball is the man. I'm a hard working man. He's one and everywhere. Yeah, I tell him. Okay, so we go from the field, good story and I guess, yeah, we go field. I'm going to call it field, good story now. I think that we're closer together. I think that we're closer together. Yeah, we're good. Kind of like, you know, when the whole Armando, Galaraga got his perfect game taken away by Jim Joyce. And then it led to something really positive and really kind of sweet and great. And Jim Joyce came out and said, I blew this perfect game for this young man.
Isn't that great? I feel terrible. I have to live with this for the rest of my life. And how could that feel to hear someone amazing accountability? Accountability. Accountability. Say, hey, everybody makes mistakes. And everyone, everybody except his apology instantly. It's like, yeah, that's what you got. That's what you got to do. Yeah, this was it. If you're, if you don't know what the heck I'm talking about, which I'm sure is often the case on this show. It was a lot final out of the game. Tigers against someone, doesn't matter at Comaric Park. Groundball to first base. Flip sit to Armando Galaraga who was covering Jim Joyce said, no, you're off the bag. And that's what cost him a perfect game. And he was clearly on the bag. So that. And then and then he replayed it. He came out after like two Galaraga and they gave him a hug and like they like broke down. It was growing. It was really nice. Yeah, it's crazy. Like I've seen a bunch of stuff with this a Doug Edding's guy specifically about him just always trying to like. Like lure over guys that make sure you know I'm here.
I know what is. So the fans are here. Exactly. Yeah. And it's like, come on, man. Yeah. Who would have guessed starting a show in nearly mid September, pen and races in full swing. We got the awards up for grabs. We're going to spend a lot of time talking about a meaningless game between the Cardinals and the Rockies as well as a bunch of baseball that happened 20 years ago. Solidarity sports sports ball. Let's get into it. Okay. So now that we do matter. Yes. I don't know how much more sideways I can get. It's excellent. It's going to be like backwards by the end of the show. Fantastic. Okay.

Blue Jays, a freaking game against, well they're just the athletics. We don't call them Sacramento, so they're just, I like calling them Sacramento. Sactown? You know me, I'm a, I'm a, you're a pooped disturbing. I say a cool dude. Cool dude. But that one works too. West Sacramento. Sac. You got, you got you, almost seductive. You got your, base, worst team baseball without like six of their starters. You got your best pitcher on the mound. And you come out sluggish. You're dead. You go down with whatever was five one. And then he comes storm back. He comes storm back. Do all the work. Yeah, against Jacob Lopez, who's by the way sort of a, he's a great young pitcher. And I'm, he's been a mainstay for me in fantasy this year and it kind of unraveled on him like, man, he was so good early in that game. Like five and six innings just mind and then all of a sudden they started going. Yeah. And then he's like, I'm not going to get the ding ding and yeah, that was a shot. And then you come back, but you don't quite do it. Now Louis, Varlin, Louis, Varlin blowing that safe. It's second blown save of the year.
It, it, it, now, which is a good, like that's a good number. Incredible. Absolutely. He's fantastic. Man, what the hell would give to have a Louis? You already, you already took a gauze. You chill out over there and come tell we'll get to that. So we're sitting there and earlier in the game, the J's blew both their challenges. They're able to jump. Yes. And this and these are good. God, what are we doing? And I know we're talking about games two games ago. We'll get to that soon. But this is pretty important. We're testing the limits of my memory. Very good. I realize I was, they were certain mold together. So you have both of those ABS challenges gone. Why? Yeah, they were, they're getting in here. We were trying to cool things. Please carry on. I apologize. No, no, all good. And he's going to strike. He. Louis, Varlin comes out. He throws strikes and they're gold balls. There was like two or three of them. And it's another one of those moments where, oh, dude, you really need to waste those so early. And it's becoming not enough to like be a bother. But it's something that's sort of in the back of my mind as a fan watching. It's like, man, because I used to be like, earlier in the year, use them all.
I don't care. Just always. It's very close. Just go. Now I'm like, holy crap. So fresh. It was the first time when you realize, or when I realized, you really, really need those on the back end because he was paint corners and they bring him the calls. Yeah. And the reason to ever use a challenge in a non-high leverage situation, if you got runners on base, if you're in the middle of a rally or trying to on the other side try to stop a rally, absolutely, that's fine. But like there's so many games this year where players are using these challenges when there's two out, nobody on base. And it's the third inning. And the four of now, as soon as like every time now you hear them, that guy's just, that's just a bad time to do that. That's good. You're doing it. Yeah. I don't know if I wonder if there might be some sort of a tweak. Like I don't really want to, you know, because the big thing when this rule came in is that you can't look at the dog, you can't get help from anyone. It's up to either the batter or the catcher or the pitcher. There are the only ones who can challenge. So, but at this point, it's kind of like, well, we're almost starting to defeat the purpose a little bit because we want to correct bad calls.
That a fundamental call that are missed. It's tough to call strikes. You just want to correct really the egregious errors. And now players, players still somehow just don't know how to use these challenges. And I thought it would take, you know, get through spring training, get through the first half of the season and everyone had just, and now, you know, you got William Contreras challenging 17 times a game, which he can do because he gets a lot of them right. But, you know, when your a Cubs fan and watching him do that and burning through the brewers challenges early before your whole pen blows it, you love that. Yeah, it's tough watching your bullpen blow games like that. And especially, especially when you're hitting strikes, like the poor guy, I, I felt it was a good out in my bar one. He just, he didn't get those couple calls and the walks and then also didn't get the pressure on and off you go, so you blow it there. And then you come back yesterday. Sorry, I know who no way, Jose, my goodness, looking good, looking really good. What do you go seven?
I think it went seven strong. That sounds right. Seven strong. I have to be honest and say I didn't see a lot of this game. He did good. That's that's that's that's what we're taking. You know, we've talked about that a few times. The fact that he shows these flashes of brilliance. So good. And he can look really good. Like his start to the season was phenomenal. And then he kind of went and that's kind of been a little bit of his career to projectory as well. That's the, that's his growth, I think. That's the way he's got to figure out, but yesterday he was on. If you get that guy in the playoffs, that's the whole thing. That's the, that's, that's the big issue is like that people are already talking about. Oh, yeah. You know, you got it. You got a rest, Surrey Anno and cease, you know, and then just hope to get in. It's like, don't you get in the playoffs? Stop talking about like, no, you're not in there yet. Right? Like I suppose my mind that people are talking with starters in the playoffs. So no, you roll out, cease there every day. If you have, I don't care. I don't know. He's used to throwing 110 and 20. That's true. Yeah. I mean, I'm not going to be a bad guy for six days. That's the whole rest. Two shit.
But you're right. But like, very durable. Like the whole thing is just, just get in. Like they're game back as of today because Cleveland won yesterday. Right. And it's going to be a battle, but it's sort of shrunk from about seven or eight teams, about three or four teams now. Yeah. I mean, the Mariners have completely fallen apart. They've been absolutely terrible. That's wonderful. That's it. Yeah. The Tigers have been bad. Yeah. I'd look, you know, the twins are still kind of hanging around. By the way. Probably not going to make it. It's, it's, it's coming. The field is getting narrowed. I don't think we're going to get that absolute chaos. I was hoping for in the last day and see if we have 17 type. It makes one of us. I was not hoping for that at all. Yeah. Not with the blue days. I embrace the chaos when it's not your number one team. That's so easy to do it. Yeah. Mr. Baseball hanging out with us. Hi. This is the all the way around table edition of your show. We will get to the other two Gibronis a little bit later, but we are talking baseball with the mister. Shop vans and Albertsons for fresh savings every time you shop. Visit vans or Albertsons.com for more deals and ways to save. In baseball, this, I'm not sure. I'll slow it this time in the morning. It's, you know, I feel like I got good ideas. I get it. I really appreciate you adjusting your schedule and I appreciate you getting in here. I do want to see who's on the mound today for the blue jays. Hey, you know folks, if you ever want to get in touch with us, it's contact. Do you miss, do you miss singing the song? I do. I never get to do this anymore. You can dig it. Give it a big. That is the email. This is the song. It's spoken for God. He's so hot right now. You're just crushed after no game. So when this plays, this game is going to be damn near over. What's your prediction? What's people people can laugh at us? What's your prediction? What's our matchup first of all there? Yeah, and we know look for here. Spencer Ma, oh, that's a recap. Interesting. Look at that. Look at their phone. Yeah, this is high quality. I don't know. I just got a little baseball game recap. I don't know.
How many of you? Look at their phone. You know, I like to think it's the personality that carries all these amazing say. We could talk about paint. Ah, dang it. Look, I just got it pulled up to fish around the mound. So we got the blue jays second best starter on the mound, the bull pin. And I don't say that lightly because that's exactly what you're going to do. So you're going to get brain fish for about two innings. And you're going to get a long guy. They don't even have a line up of yet. Yeah, it's still. They don't have a line up of it. Again, West Coast game. When your bull pin is doing it, that takes the jays. I do know what I'm not going to take the jays because I jinx everyone I take. So I'm going to take Sacramento to win this one. And when this is playing, they'll probably be about seven or eight innings. And I'm going to say Sacramento will win five to two. And I don't like it. I don't hope that happens. I'm just trying to jinx the athletics with it's just like I always pick against the riders during 13th million.
But the Gary Curzonum and let him. They worked for you last week. That's it. I got to let him fall apart. Brady Baso is the a's starter. That took you a long time. The thing is I had it in my brain. And then I just like put down the phone in two seconds later. Like, was that because I've never actually heard of him. So this is his 23rd game. Yeah. That's a year. He's probably pretty high. It's not bad. Like 4.3 out of here. And your pitching in West Sacramento, born and raised dude. That's all right. You'll take that. Right. Jays are going to lose. That's the deal there. And yeah, then you got to do it again tomorrow. That's the stress of these playoff races, man. But if you just leave your MLB.tv or whatever on you can watch former J Kevin Gosman take the mound later on today. I was going to ask you how you like in those spoils. You look pretty good last outing. Yeah. Yeah. By and large, I'm pretty happy with everyone we got at the trade deadline. We being the Chicago Cubs. Go Cubs. Go Cubs. Go Cubs, indeed. So yeah, Gosman's been. He hasn't. He's been a little bit up and down again. A little bit of that Kevin Gosman experience for the guy who's been around for a thousand years.
And, you know. But I feel like that World Series postseason experience he got last year. That'll help him. Oh, yeah. Especially where you guys were. The starters for the Cubs have been so good and the bullpen has been so bad. It's just been horrible. You know, the guy who's our ostensible closer Jacob Webb giving up a walk off home run. Not good. After we scored two runs on the top of the ninth car. That's a good. Coming through with a huge basis load of double. Sounds like the J's the other day. Come back top and nine lose at the bottom. No thanks. No way to live. It's so. But hey, that's focus on this. You got you got that rotation cooking dog. Rotations looking pretty good feeling feeling good about it. Again, it still feels to me a little bit like we've got, you know, five or six. Number two or number three type starters. We still don't. Sorry, I'm like getting too aggressive. No, your face is beautiful. Oh, thank you. You're hiding it. No, the world needs to see your beauty. Continue.
Don't. I didn't need a draft. Yeah, so we still don't really have an ace. We still the bullpen is still. Still shaky right now. I have sort of had an epiphany of our revelation last night. Come the postseason. The Cubs closer lock down guy at the end of the game is going to be Justin steal. Oh, coming back. He's pitching in the minor leagues. He's not going to get stretched. I don't have to be a starter. He is one of the like he was one of the top prospects in that rotation. Like he's a stea he's a starter. Yeah, he's a starter. Great starting victory. He's had a couple of amazing seasons and then he's had a couple of just injury riddled seasons. Yeah, I haven't. Like he was supposed to be back to start this season because he missed basically all of last him. Get out of here. Fly shoe. Just all over the place. Yeah, I tell you so he's I like that idea though. Yeah, especially if your rotations are already cooking. Rotations pretty solid. You know, you probably cut down to three. At least for the first round, second round likely, then maybe you know, if we're dreaming
big and looking at an NLCS World Series, you do want. The lineup is so good. Your team like everyone's talking about the cubby's been taking it all like they're saying the cubby's are the top picker. Everybody's talking about you don't like that. I don't hear a word they say. Just kidding. It's not stressful. It's stressful because you know how stressful you know how this secret just quite easily does. You know, it's just like the parodies just like the Dodgers softball. I guess they're hot again, but still with show and they got Aaron judges back now. Aaron judge came back yesterday. Great return. Oh for three of the couple straight. Yeah, but that's you know, of course he has a title for the ball. Yeah, he's the best hitter in the world. A pair of the players in history. You want to know how good Aaron judges. He was off for over three months. I believe it was like 90 exactly 90. Yeah, I don't like how he's trying to ride Gresky's coattails, but that's an argument for another day. He comes out here and he is so good at baseball that he hadn't played over three
months and the Vegas line on him hitting a home run was two and a half to one. First came back two and a half to what I would have taken the under. Well, it's that worth that's the whole point that there's no way he's hitting a ding ding in his first comeback after three months. Like it's not going to happen. And they're acting like it's a sure thing. Yeah, that's that's the that's the judgy. I think this of it all. And when you get to the talking about the Yankees, they're at a different level in terms of their fandom and the hype and like especially like if you're talking about Yankees prospects, you know, it's always these are the best prospects in the world. You know, there was so much talk a couple of years ago when maybe the pirates are going to trade Paul schemes. Oh Yankees fans were like, I guess I give up Jason Dominguez for him, but I'm not nothing else. Spencer Jones. He's a touchable Anthony Volpy. Are you kidding me? The next Geter and Anthony Volpy is in the minor leagues right now. Yeah, it didn't work out well for him. For me, this is only up because Trent Grisham got hurt and all those Spencer Jones
have been pretty good this year. I got to got to give it up for him. He's tall. He is tall. Very tall. Him and Judd, you see that they're crazy. The twin tower. It's so weird to watch the tall guys like Jesus Sanchez as well with like those guys that are so tall that they have to like bend their knees. You know what I mean? It's so weird to see that. Yeah, Jones has a weird stance. Yeah, you're right. And I think a lot of it is just too big awkwardness of that frame, but he's finding a way to make it work. It definitely are. Okay, one more for you. Before we roll out, can we just go ahead and crown your man PCA as the NL MVP. Redon him. Yes. It's crazy. He's winning the MVP. And it's not even close. Yeah, it's. He had a pretty good lead on it. We there was always that's looming specter that O'towni would come back and pitch. And that it's basically been confirmed. He's not going to pitch again this year. And he's also been really bad at the plate. Like he is he doesn't look right. They say he's heard. He needs to go on the IL. And I'm a little surprised they're not doing that. What are you playing for at this point Dodgers?
Yeah, yeah, got the NL West. That arrest. Yeah. And they keep on trotting them out every night. But it looks bad. The Dodgers sort of look beatable, right? They look beatable. They look, I mean, you know, age comes for us all and it's coming for the Dodgers. It's not a young lineup. They've got a few young guys, but not real superstars. I mean, there were one guy who looked like he was emerging as a superstar. A fan, fan favorite in Toronto. Andy Pahez. He says he's hurt currently. You think he can vote fan favorite? I still can't believe me that catch. I was unbelievable. Oh, it might be one of the best catch you've ever seen. It was phenomenal. Certainly for the context of winning. And that's what I mean. Like the moment. Yeah. And the fact that he came in there just for defensive purposes. Yeah. And then he runs like two football fields. Yeah. And Ernie Clement. Hey, I've just set the record for most guests in the post season. Here's my last one to win the World Series for the. Oh. And I'll tell you this. That game, that game seven. And the DCM will be dot com.
It will be a com or the league and will be either way. They had a vote for a greatest playoff game or World Series game of all time. Game seven last year. Number one. Wow. I'm always going to pick game seven in 2016. Of course you would. I think it's a little bit. I think they took the favorability out of it. Right. You know what I mean? So hopefully the people that were deciding didn't have a favorite team. But it had everything. It was incredible. It was incredible. Like I definitely am not upset with the B number one. Yeah. It's a good pick. I mean, game six in 1993. James fans might almost also pick that one. I don't know. Touch them all, Joe. Yeah. I'm going to be home running. You're home running. You're like, God. Mr. baseball. This is why we're calling that dude. I always appreciate you making it in. And I just I just love talking baseball. It's so much fun. Thank you for making the time for me. It's a great pleasure. I miss you. I said your hello to that. I was kidding about the feud with coach comment to last week. I love you both. I can't wait to a time when maybe we can all chat together. I guess not in the same room, but at the same time. At some point, we're working on it.
We're going to do some real. We're going to do some real. We're going to make it happen. Yeah. I think we're going to do some watch parties. That's the thing. Hey, come to Bugsies Saturday. This Saturday, Bugsies, Mark and Mall, 13th Millen. I'm in Winnipeg. Of course, you're broadcasting everywhere. Yeah. That's not a broadcasting thing. That's a family. That's my wife's family. Even better. He's Mr. baseball. Love you, buddy. Thank you so much. Thanks, Gary. We're going to hold the bet, dude. That was good. Oh, absolutely. Love that dude. As we can. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. Oh, absolutely. Love that, dude. Again, so much fun to get to hang out with him so smart. And as we were about two thirds of the way through there, we saw our final member for today. The namesake 4, the all the way around portion of the all the way around table. And yeah, I thought he was dead. Fett of an hour looking there is like, I think he died. Like, I'm not sure if he maybe like, I don't know, but he was out cold. And we were actually betting on it. I guess we can bring him in and talk to him. Well, there's John, let's say hello to coach number one. We were worried, dude. I was getting ready to look up a wellness check for you out there. I got up today at 4.45 in the morning. And I haven't done that for I don't know how long. So I just had the soothing voice of Mr. Baseball and your self-gary.
Close my eyes and just what a way to spend a little bit of my time in the morning. That was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. And I feel yeah, I did the 4.30 a.m. a couple of weeks ago. And I still haven't even got close to recovering yet. Like I'm still just in shambles. Like, I don't know how to get that rest back. I need to learn how to sleep better, I believe, is what the prognosis is. Yeah, I think I'm going to go to bed at 7.45 tonight. We'll see. See how that does such a such a young man over there. Hey, it's early, but that's right. Oh, brother, did you see what happened? There's spoiler alerts, spoiler alerts for anybody who PBR. Spoilers, spoilers, good. OK. Another absolute garbage game for the Jays this afternoon. Did you happen to, I guess you were probably sleeping? I know they lost. Yeah, that's all I know. They lost two nothing. I was a bullpen game and normally most things, they go, no, not a bullpen game. But with your Toronto Blue Jays, the bullpen is your number two best pitcher.
So they went in there and I believe I had the stats up to something. Oh, here we go. It was bloody went over, but he didn't have a walk. So he's still getting on. Not much else. Obviously, no runs. A couple guys had it. Bateman had another hit. Lucas had another hit. Kerkie had another hit. And then Hemenyaz and Ernie, but nothing on the board. Fisher got the start. We hit them. Yeah, sweet. That's always good. Fisher got the start. Then Michael Lorenzen came in and he was the only one out of all the one, two, three, four, five, six pitchers. Lorenzen was the only one to allow a run. He allowed two runs, two runs and two and a third. And then C-Walled clean, meant to play clean, Rodgers clean, Varlin clean. There's no runs to support. I don't like it. Lorenzen. He's three and twelve.
Yeah, why is he out there? He's in the same thing. Former outfielder though, hey, or infielder, I guess. Former not pitcher. Make him change. Like Anthony goes, yeah. They were joking that when he came over, he also brought his batting gloves just in case. And in my head, I'm saying, well, why are we getting a pitcher? Why don't we get a real pitcher instead of a guy that's swinging, you know? And he's like, been the only guy who's been allowing runs on that pen lately. Like this is sort of a thing. Maybe they should let him hit today. And just it's so hard not to think if Vlad, he was a third of good as good as he can be. If he hit instead of maybe hitting 25 home runs at home or 20 home runs, maybe if he just hit like eight, I'll take one. There's got to be one wins there. I'll take one. It's odd. And again, like it's it's beaten the dead horse by now. Everyone understands it. We've almost gotten to the point now where everyone is done being angry with him.
And we're just like, hey, let's get together. Finish the season strong. Like there's still something there. Because as I watch every game I've watched and I've watched a lot of games, that defense dude, you see him diving all over that frickin right field line. Like he's on both sides. He's climbing. He's making impossible throws. Looks simple. Like he's going to win a gold glove for sure. And then you look at all the other stuff and say, okay, well, how much does a gold glove get you? Because clearly he's not vlating. And for the point of him somewhat heating up, like he's been getting better since he's been back. He's had hits. He's had walks. But again, none of the power. The sluggans gone, bro. He ain't got nothing left to feel like. And it's pretty commendable to keep that defense that strong because a lot of players will carry that over. That's my thing. And no one ever talks about first base and defense. But he has people talking about it because I don't know if we're just trying to find anything to cheer him on with. But man, he is so good over there. He is so frickin' fun to watch.
But tell you what, in our state programs, under 16, 16 and 18, don't know if it's the same over there. But we struggle to find first baseman because typically the guys that make your provincial teams, your team sasht, they're typically now just really good athletes. And where do our athletes play? They play in the middle of the field. And then all of a sudden you put these teams together. It's like, right, well, surely someone can go and just catch the ball at first base. But there's so much to it to understand what you're doing on Bunt plays and what you're doing on Relays. And if the ball's hit to your right with a guy on first, your natural instinct is to go after it. But it's like, wait a minute, I go back to first base. So there's actually, there's a lot to take in. So the deep inside. Good example of that again with Vladie was that Bunt that went down a couple days ago. And he came all the way from first. He knew right away. And wet field. So he's got a slippery ball. One hand picks it up.
Throw was a dart. Gets a guy at third. Gets lead runner and like save the game for the boys at that time. Like those little things. Well, at that time, yeah, then they lost it. Yeah, we know, we know what happened coach one. Thank you. But it was very enjoyable watching the comeback and to see stuff like that from Vladie. I guess got to keep them going. You know, it's like at least one aspect of my game is really cooking right now. And the efforts there like I so well, yeah, for that. You still get hot. If he gets hot, I always say if if if what's great is that we are talking playoff baseball. It is because it's played what July, July and June. Almost I think I read more about the Toronto maybe than the Jace and it was just like is their baseball season. But and if they can get in again, we're a little biased. But if they can get in boy, boy, we're a playoff team. We're six inches, two inches away from winning the world series.
New words. She that was sick. Vladie gets hot in the playoffs. Watch out. Here we go. It's like Vegas had them as the top top odds for making that third wildcard spot like a couple days ago. And now they've lost two of three against freaking athletics. So I need a mental. You need a Cleveland loss tonight more than ever. Like there's 15 games left, I believe. And you're a game back right now. Could be a game and a half. I believe if Cleveland wins, if they don't stay there and you try again tomorrow. It's at the stress level for these games is just insane. Like every single one is a playoff game. That's what's happening. You're right. Every time you come up to bat with runners on, whether it's the first inning or the eighth inning. And I must admit, I'm a little bit torn because Miss Anna. Yeah, your boy one game there where they had their run of their walkoff victories. But the one game I think he had the base hit to tie it. I know if it was a base hit or a but but he had an RBI to tie it and then later in the
game in the RBI to win. He had a big three running in that series too. The Aussie boy. Yeah, that was once dude. He must have been like, like where people talking about him when he was coming up in Australia. Like the dude, like obviously you would have been aware of him, but like did he transcend it all? I once once did the draft was approaching. That's probably when we heard about him, but he was based. He played baseball in New South Wales. Oh, yeah, there you go. So you heard about him a little bit, but then all of a sudden he went to Oregon. He went to college for two years, I think one or two. And you're going, all right, and then there's the draft came up. Then all of a sudden the country started to notice, but like that there, what he just did there over the last series was pretty phenomenal. It's yeah, he's showing the world. He does make the news here. Seeing that, yeah, I feel you. That comes with time, I think, hey, get the word out. You know why? Because you know what's big right now happening in Melbourne tomorrow, tomorrow morning,
MCG. MCG. MCG. I was drunken that facility, brother, and now we got NFL football coming in. So excited. And that everything looks there. Oh, yeah. Well, it's dominating here because it's, I guess, officially tonight is the first game of the NFL season on a Wednesday. Go figure that it's like one of the few days they haven't really locked in. So as it may ever throw a Wednesday game in there, so they got the Super Bowl rematch tonight between Seattle and New England and then tomorrow. And so it's in the morning, you say, hey, because it's, I believe it's a 625 start time for us here. Yeah, so I think it's 10 30. It's must be 10 25 something in the morning. Yeah. And that's, that's huge. Like, so this is going to be sold out like you, you've been to the MCG obviously, right? Like, you know what that's like, it's freaking insane. Like even just from when you walk in and go up all the different stairs, like I just remember not being able to move while going through these stairs up all the way up and then getting
out and be like, holy cow, look at this feel like this is insane. And they were showing some footage of how the setup is right now for the NFL game. And it looks just, oh, it's so cool. It's so cool seeing the NFL field inside that cricket ground. And it'll be really interesting to see which team wins and then what the narrative after that because both teams have taken a very different approach. So San Francisco's been here for at least a week. Yeah, I think it's almost, it's going to be over. They've got settled in. It's going to be almost two weeks, I think, before game time. They're aiming more. Two weeks for acclimating. And then you, and then you got the Rams who I think get in today. Today? Yeah. And they played tomorrow. That's a lot. Yeah. That's the plan then to get out right after it. And you're so right. They're not going to adapt. That's the biggest talk of the whole thing is whichever team wins, that's going to be the new way to do it. So it's not just football team's battling. It's science battling as well, which is very exciting. As we continue here, the Wednesday edition, the all the way around table, coach one in
the house, coach comma two, probably in his white truck somewhere working or driving or doing both, which is usually what he does. Boxes, I wish you were here, coach. It's this Saturday, man. How was this? It's happening. No, it's coming up. So a couple days from now, we haven't done it yet. September 12th, this Saturday, we will be at the market mall buggsies, the 13th belt in right there. You can see the banner down below. And so pumped because we're on location, man. We're going live from the place that normally sends us the game day feasts through our delivery boy. They will now be sending right to the table. And we have about 14 flavors, I think, left. So we're going to knock out the last 14 off our passport, get another shirt. And most of all, hang out with family and friends and enjoy the banjo bowl as the riders look to build off of that big win in the Labor Day Classic, which was really something as they tried really hard not to win. The refs tried really hard to make sure they didn't win, but the riders still pulled through, which is pretty, pretty cool. So again, Saturday, market mall buggsies, 130, it gets started, kick off at two.
And we're going to have all the food and all the fun ready for you as we take the 13th million on the road. And Uncle, the ramp of Tom will be signing autographs as well. Our buddy, Cal from recovery with Cal will be in the house of this family. He'll be signing some autographs. Maggie's even coming. Oh, it's one magazine house. She's going to be signed, signed some autographs as well with her past. So it's going to be a whole family event there. Very, very fun looking forward to all of that. OK, now before we get to anything else, actually real quick, real quick. Shop vans and Albertans for fresh savings every time you shop. Next week at Vans and Albertans, get fresh, boneless, skinless chicken breasts for 199 per pound limit 10 pounds. And locally grown, grape-ery cotton candy grapes are 299 per pound with digital coupon. Plus 24 packs of Canada dry or 7-up 12 ounce cans are 499 limit 1 with digital coupon. Enjoy fresh and delicious savings for every meal. Hurry in, these deals won't last. Visit vans or Albertans.com for more deals and ways to save.

As a coach. How are you not losing it on this guy? I would have pulled. The empire is need. Look, empire is not easy. It is the one thing in baseball. When I get asked to do something or they need volunteers, I will say yes to 90.9% of things, but I will not empire. I don't like it. I can tell you've done it before. I'm in the same boat. I've tried it before. It is not fun. Everyone hates you. It's the reason we don't have. It's the reason all of our minor sports are struggling for any officials in any sport because the parents ruin it. Sorry. I'm going to have to have to. You know what? I'm not so much about the parents. I'm more about the players.
Who do you think teach on the players? I don't want the kid to strike out. I don't want the kid to strike out on a bad call in my end. And I don't want the picture to give up a walk because of a bad call in my end. I want everybody to succeed. And I struggle with that. I'm telling you, the parents allow the kids to be shit. That's my problem. It's like respect your officials. Go ahead. Yes. But these are bars. They got to learn their spot in the game. Thank you. It is not their job to uphold these unwritten rules or their philosophies. But so I don't know if there's been any. I don't think there's been any repercussions or penalties. Nothing that we've heard. But I will say that the fact that he. It looked like that. Did you see the apology? Like they showed him going up to Rincone and be like, Oh, Rincone's like, yeah, all right, whatever, dude. And it's like the most fake apology you'll ever hear in his. Obviously because he got yelled at by baseball.
And he had to go sort of redeem himself. But yeah, it sounds like there's going to be no punishment, no fines, no suspensions, none of that. This is a. It's it's almost upsetting. The lack of repercussions for something so. Unbelievable. Stupid. Like for you to sit here and think you can tell. So like, imagine Fernando Rodney think he'd think he'd handle that. Remember Fernando? Like straight side and he'd go, man, that was my dude. Like I like CC Sebastian guys that have some swagger. Marcus Strowman. These are all the guys of personalities. These are the guys you should be promoting. Not telling them to straighten your hat, young man. Very upset. I'm surprised that the next picture to the catcher just didn't miss it. Miss reddit got the wrong signal. Apparently Hunter good men who the catcher was. They tried to blame on him first. They go, no, the catcher said something is like, no, I didn't say anything dude. Like the like the umpire was trying to blame everyone else before finally being like, okay, I guess it was me.
Like it's just. So he lied. Yeah, straight face. And then. So the beauty here. There's always the beauty in the chaos. The beauty here is the next day. Every single player. Both teams came out. Croc cat. Just doing this. Every single player on both teams. So you could see you could see a dog getting said, oh man, this is I really messed up this time again. Everyone's doing it. All right, I guess we better go get this apology done. But like the unity within baseball to all come together like, no dude. Not today. You're not taking away our swag. Pretty cool. Well, you're, well, you're headed. We had an incident here where. And there is an altercation between an umpire and a coach. And the coach got tossed and the umpires have to write up a report after an ejection. And what the umpire reported was disputed by. 18 witnesses.
Not one. Not two, but 18. Not two. So. I don't want to suggest. I don't want to suggest because I don't know the final outcome. But what I do know is that umpire is not up for the rest of the season. So there was repercussions. That was it. There was repercussions and fair enough. So. I got an amlb. We'll do that once they want to coach comment to here. I was just about to send you the link, buddy. But we don't have much time left. You want to join us for our draft. We're about to do. Yeah. That's awesome. Okay. Can you hear him? Okay. There. Coach one. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, okay. I was trying to find it. Okay. I'll send you the zoom link. Okay. You know, you figure after how many times I've sent the zoom link to people. I would just have it saved somewhere, but I was after going back to the last person that I sent it to. And that. We know what. I'll send you the second. But if I use the zoom link on my laptop.
Ooh. It doesn't work. It says expired. But if I use it on my phone. Uh, there's a different one. See, we had to change it over. So there is a new one. And that, that was an issue for me as well. So that all makes a lot of sense. Uh, you know what? I've sent him a bunch. Have a night. Look at us go. Uh, I know. Kurt. And it. Dolls, he always has one. Leave it to Kurt. Doll. He would have been the last. There it is. I just reached out to Kurt. I just reached out to lawyer drummer. Really? I'm looking for. We're going to put this out to your listeners as well. I love it. If anybody's, if anybody's got a contact. For. And I robber Paul from the tragically hip. Oh, I would love to be connected. Because I'd love to have one or both. On the podcast. I like where this is going. I'm going to be connected. I'm going to be connected. I'm going to be connected. I'm going to be connected. I'm going to be connected. I'm going to be connected. I'm going to be connected. I'm going to be connected. Like when this is going. I'm going to be connected.
Just talk about the drink. The idea is a lawyer drug. Yeah. Yeah. He probably, probably the guy. The old. He knows everybody. He's got a contact. But he didn't say he goes, look, I'll have a go. Not sure how confident I am in it. like, I'll reach out, because we want to protect them sometimes, hey, you know what I mean? So like, we have my Goldberg from UFC fame, and he would come on the Drew Ministers' Sports Show because him and Drew are super tight. And other people, like, hey, can you get Goliath Bickeye? Yeah, we probably could all see what I can do. No promises. And you just don't even ask, because you don't want to hassle them. That might be worth a little bit. I'm looking for somebody from UFC, by the way. Just, well, I'll see now. I still have his number, but I haven't talked to him for about five years. I think the last time I talked to him was, we were drinking with the boys, and we were watching like a best of UFC thing. It was like the best calls or something like that. And I said, we were like, hey, Goli, the boys are loving your commentary. Like, I was all lit up too. It was like loving your thing.
Such an idiot. I don't know why I did it. I was like, yeah, the boys were loving it. And I didn't even think twice about it. I was like, whatever, I didn't even give you a response. Sends a message back, oh, yeah, tell the boys right on. Like, he's always just been the coolest dude. But again, he's not UFC anymore. He's out of UFC, so he wouldn't be the right contact. I still might be, but anyways. Yeah, it's true too. He probably knows the guy who knows the guy, right? I see what you're saying. Yeah, that's right. As we bring in our final guest from his white truck, ladies and gentlemen, give it up for a coach. Come at two. Oh, and now it's gonna mess with all our setups. Coach two, how's the white truck buddy? I just look at the window. Okay, we have website, duffernab.com. That's where you can find us. With me, Andy, the proprietor of two and five from these made our website. Super awesome. Check him out. He eats 10 fish. It's disgusting. And yeah, that's all we really gotta say about that. I had to eat it and it was not good.
And that over. Yeah. Yeah. Coach two. Yeah, I just, I'm trying to join it into the conversation late and Adrian's looking for a UFC guy. I want to just an up and coming MMA guy. Ooh, we know a couple of those, eh? Do we? I thought you would just as you brought it up. Cause I brought it up. Yeah, no, like I hate to promise something I can't deliver or anything. Yeah, but I might know a guy who knows the guy. That's the guy we need. Doing a lot of publicity. Little fun things like he's in Saskatoon. He'll press he'll do a little local gym. He'll go to a local gym and he'll have his sponsorship guys from like different protein powders or is he in our, you see a guy's whatever, is he in our ultimate or fat title? No. OK. We have one of those.
Yeah, I thought our buddy Angle was pretty into it. No, yeah, no, yeah, he's past his prime. Yeah, no, this guy's John's offered coming. I hope he sees that such a good dig. He's a throttle all three of us with one little ding. Oh, I have this conversation with Adam before. I know you have. I've been around it. It's very humorous. Cause you just take, you keep egging them on. He's he's getting more, more frustrated. Very fun. But this guy is a upcoming guy. I don't know. I'll reach out to my friend. That would be pretty cool. Curly fries and a two liter pop. That is thanks to our friends over at. Birds. Pizza. Oh, man, there's enough hop in it. You were hop. That's fair. You guys ready to draft? We're really going to squeeze this one in here. We're going to go in five minutes. We got it. We got it. We're going to speed it. All right. I'll sing at the end. This will be good. We're going to do a full team here, boys, all the way. Here we go. There's our screen and I've already swung our first one and we got Kettle Marte. So the Kettle Marte at two bag. We got one. Here we go. Pirates, 26. And we can't do pictures. No. No. No. We have to reroll. We have to reroll. We're reroll this one. We don't have deep pockets. We just got to work with what we've got. We're still going to reroll because it's not going to go well.
23 cardinals. By the way, this is our show base. This is a thing that coach combat two guys addicted on. It's got all the rankings from M will be the show. And then you draft accordingly and trigger yourself a team. St. Louis 23. Another garbage. Yeah. What if we do a clamspace ball where we just shoot for. Meteority like coach one wanted to do. Yeah. We did talk about that. Just hit him. So we get a. Get a couple good guys get a couple of medium guys and then just go with it. 70 72 is our new men. No, we're doing this the right way. Because I want to win. And I'll tell you this. We got to look at all the diamonds you guys. So this is the Atlanta Braves 23. You see all these? We got Sean Murphy's in 86. Akuna Jr. is a 97. I think we take a Kuna junior. Matt Olson 91 Austin Riley 88. There's so many down we're taking the 97. You guys. Yeah, where do you want center? Next time. Next time.
Next time we're going to see. With the most losses we can get. But. Track him. Oh my god. You guys. You guys. We just got Aaron judge as well. You want a D H or you want to write? Right field. Yep. For a year. 22 I believe it was. Yeah, right. Detroit Tigers 25 Detroit Tigers. Nothing. Re-rolls. We got four re-rolls left. Not re-roll. 21 Giants. Here we go. Buster Posey. One of my favorite catchers of all time. Brandon Crawford as well as a diamond. But I think we're okay with taking a 21 Buster Posey. Are we a catcher? Yeah, yeah. 89. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Beautiful. And I'll have you guys know by the way I was talking to someone the other day and they were saying back catcher. And in the back of my head I was like, Oh, I want the boys were here. They'd be so upset. They would be so upset right now. But I didn't. I didn't get myself out because he was an outside baseball fan. Yeah, keep the standards up. Who's that diamond there? That is.
Oh, we got one down there. So we got your dawn. So this is Astro's 25. Oh, Marais. Lock him in. Yeah, Jeremy Paine. Yeah. So Paine has an 88. And Alvarez. He's only an 85. Perfect. Yeah, you want him? Lock him in. He still a's a cool dude. Yeah. All right. Your dawn's going to left. Here we go. Oh, the 26 athletics. Don't even look. I guess. Yeah. Oh, Nick Kurtz in the house. We already got our catchers. So we could put Nick Kurtz on first. I love it. There we go. All right. We got the pirates 26 again. Second time we've got the pirates 26. So I already know there's nothing there. Three re-rolls left. 23 athletics. We're getting pirates and athletics today. And then 23 boys they had nothing. One, two re-rolls left. 21 white socks. Fed him. That's your team. How do you think our draft is doing, guys? I think Fed him. So, Louie Robert.
Or, yes, Monty Grandel. Sorry, I'm just throwing everything. Yeah. 90 for Louie Robert. So he's going to be our DH. Brewers 25. We got Bryce Tarrang and 87. Oh, man. There's another diamond in there too, but we can't get him. I got one minute. One minute. All right. Bryce Tarrang. We're taking him. Yeah. And then we got Astros 21. Oh, we're going to try so hard for you coach one. All the diamonds are out. All the diamonds are out. We've got one last re-roll. Last re-roll. Here we go. steelbacks, 22. Looking for the third base out. Mason and we are getting stuck with the 76. Oh, there's one down there. Right there. This is a silver. This guy? That's our guy, Lou. משererus. We have no more re-rolls. Yes. Rangers, 25. Jacob DeGrom. You guys 87 diamonds. All come in. Oh, there's also a Nathaniel of Alde, but we like DeGrom.
He throws heat. And then our closer is coming from the 22 white socks, white socks, athletics, and fricking pirates. All right, we got an 83 here. So I guess we'll take him. Hey, Liam Hendrix, we're a Blue J. All right, boys. Yeah. Yeah, right. Time for us to see our team. Here we go. Projecting 129. Oh boy, they're hurting. They're they're grinding. Here we go. Well, 121. What do we got? 139 homers from Nick Kurtz, Bryce Turing had 28 doubles. Aaron Judge, 183 RBI's. You're down Alvarez. How about that with your batting average leader? And DeGrom, 182.670 R.A. and 40 saves. And right before we send, before we send coach on his way, let's get that postseason and lose out early. Because that's what we like to do. Hey, we got one. Ah! Oh, lost. Lost in the LCS in game seven.
Coach, why don't thank you so much. You get out of here. I am going to pop up. So we love you, buddy. You take care. Coach, comment two. We're going to sing real quick for everybody. Fina, if you want to flip back off of that, really thank you very much. OK. I have to sing early, correct? Yes. There's a little tiny delay. You got to business and organize something doing a whole lot of good. To see some more eyes and ears, please reach out to us. OK. If you're doing business the right way, and you're realizing how hard it is, like everyone else who tries to do things the right way, no shortcuts, you're here to help you. That seems odd. Why did you do that? You do me off. Thank you the best one we ever did. That's just as odd as I was crushing it.
I guarantee you always do. Fina, let's go ahead and wake up the old Frankie and make her way. So what do you got going on today, dude? You going to some baseball, hockey, and baseball? Help just, like I said, we moved at work, trying to settle in. Yeah. And that's a long process, eh? So much stuff. Yeah. There's a lot to do. Are you almost in there now, though? Like you're almost there? We're in there, yeah. It's full of time. I'm just saying, I'm actually trying to head home. I got, I'm going to get my ears lowered, as they say. Nice. Then maybe go home to eat. And then maybe go back to work and square some other things out. Why would you cut it? You're just getting nice and long again. I love when you have flow. Yeah, just clean it up a little bit. All right. That's fair. That's a guy. I get it. I understand that. Your thoughts on the Jays real quick? I don't know. Is it unfortunate? I don't know how they did yesterday, did they?
They won yesterday. They lost this afternoon. So they are currently one game behind a game and a half if Cleveland wins tonight. That's unfortunate. Yeah. And who's Cleveland playing? 15 left. Cleveland, I believe. Let me just check. Oh, Baltimore. Yeah, they're in Baltimore. Foster Griffin on the mound. 15 and four. Foster Griffin. Very good. A baseball shame. Shane Baz countering. 5 and 15 for Baltimore. Not looking good. Yeah, no, the I just don't know if it's meant to be. But they just got to keep grinding away. Yeah, it's not over. It's not over until the last game of the season made. So keep winnings. That's fair. They got 15 games left. So we'll see if they can pull it off. What do you want? What do they have to win? 10. They got to go to the... I don't know. I think that's what we need to figure out here. I think 10 might get you there.
You win two of the next three times. Say the thing. Win your series. Just keep winning. They got Texas. They got all the boys ahead of them here. Well, I have a good idea. And a week for sure. That's we will. And hopefully they get in so we can finally have our Blue Jays watch party, which I'm looking very forward to. Are you able to join us? Bugsies this Saturday, 130. Kick off at two o'clock. Mark and Wal Bugsies. Be there or be square. Well, should I tell you the truth or should I tell you the not truth? It's so sad, man. All of our squad isn't even going to be there. I'm going to make it happen because this has been in the making, but here, because I value so much. It's hard to schedule these things. I know. Trust me. And I get it right in the middle of a Saturday stuff. Here are the things I'm supposed to be involved in on Saturday. You ready? Yeah. Remedent. Memorial slow pitch tournament. Boy. OK. I'm supposed to be going to a funeral. That's two. That's two. My kid has the full baseball program that we run.
We have seven games this weekend. Four of them are on Saturday. And I'm so. No way. There's no way you're making it, dude. Hey. There's just a lot of load. It's a lot of load. I believe my kid has a three-ounce-your-hockey game. But I am going to make it. I'm going to the funeral. And then I will be. Then I'll head over to your function. Because I have the funerals at the same time at the ball game, I won't be at the ball game. So I'll head over and see you. I'll be late. So it starts at two. I'll be there at two 30. Hopefully no flavors. I will. I was just going to say I will make sure that we save it. We got 14 for sure that we're ordering. From the wings to finish off our passports. So anything after that will just be extra. And we'll make sure you have a bunch. OK. You're the best, buddy. I appreciate you. I love you so much and you as well. Keep doing those good things. I promise you they are working. We'll be back tomorrow for the Thursday edition. And we will miss you all so much. Until then, thank you again. We love you.
Have a great night. Take care. Woo! For more information, visit jameshardy.com slashhardybacker.
