Your Puppy & House Training - Talking Dogs Radio Show
About this episode
This is probably one of the most common questions dog trainers get. Except now I am living it! This show was taped before we got the puppy so I had my game plan set before the puppy arrived. Rule # 1 - don't let the puppy explore the house! Take them for a walk first! One thing I will tell you is that Jemma, my new puppy, isn't being crated as long as I thought she would. She sleeps about 10 hours in the crate at night plus about 3 hours during the day split up into 2 different sessions. However she is also sleeping at home while she is tethered with us before bedtime.
