Yazeed's Trial: Forensic Evidence Links Him to Aniah's Murder

0:00On March 13th, here's the latest out of Birmingham. The capital murder trial of Ibrahim Ezeed is underway in Macon County, Alabama for the 2019 killing of 19-year-old Anaya. Blanchard. Juris have heard key forensic details about her death after she vanished from an Auburn gas station. Prosecutors showed over 50 photos of Blanchard's Black Honda CRV found at a Montgomery apartment complex. Investigators describe pools of blood inside, a shell casing, an unfired round, and a bullet stuck in the door. The bullet path pointed to a struggle with a gun. Blanchard was a student at Southern Union Community College from Homewood and stepdaughter of UFC fighter Walt Harris. Witnesses testified that Ezeed showed up at a home hours later, shoeless and dirty, then fled to Florida where he was caught. Her body turned up in Macon County Woods, showing she had been shot in the head. The evidence ties into the events right after her disappearance. Ezeed faces three capital murder counts, one during a kidnapping, one during a robbery,
