Yeah, who's going first? Oh, I don't care. I'll go before I remember. We used to fuel this old Boeing 737 200. It was called Casino Express. Oh, I remember those are the flights out to Wendover, right? Yeah, but it went and because of fuel restrictions, they used to have they would take off from Wendover and they would land in Salt Lake City top off and then go and it was usually when I got on the plane to deliver the fuel slip. I don't think there was anyone under the age of 80 on the aircraft. But it was called Casino Express and it came in once a week. The fuel system was always broken in that thing and so we used to have to do the drip stick method.

5:44Just to give a quick explanation for those that don't know, if the fuel gauges on the 737 aren't working, they have about four, four, they're called drip sticks and you use like a flat head screwdriver and you twist it and you pull down these sticks and they literally have measurements on them. Since the wings are a little tapered and swept like that, you know, the more you got in, the more fuel they were. They were dehydrated. Oh, there you go. Anyway, my first time attempting the drip stick got my trusty bucket wearing my gloves and for some reason my brain didn't think to open the outer one first and I opened one that was more in inward and I thought when I'd pull this thing out, the way it's explained to me that the fuel would just kind of squirt out when you reach the limit just a little bit and so I had the bucket like this and I did it. Well, I pulled it

6:44and the hole was facing my face. Oh, you know, I pulled it down. It's yeah, it just spit right in my face. Just went, covered me, doused me, my shirt, everything. Yeah, I think that was the last time I volunteered to fuel. Because you know, it's just one. I mean, I jammed it back up and stopped it immediately, but it yeah, that one sucked. It did the plane smell like prunes and I see I tried to plug my bed when I went out for it. Oh, God. Oh, there's a slouch in Vegas. That was the first thing I thought of by the way. One in the chat. Tell me what movie. What movies that from brownie plates. Yes, I go out of the cockpit. So I'll you said now anyway. So I'll go next. All I have to say is Mitsubishi M.U. 2.

7:48Yeah, those are pretty popular. If you ever, if you ever worked the line and fueled one of those, in fact, so I just remember I went and I opened it and I started fueling. I was going too fast and fuel. They're overwing. Yes, and if you don't know what an M.U. 2 is, it's a high-wing aircraft. It's a high-wing prop aircraft, turbo prop, and the that's got the tip tanks as well on their side. And that's got a highly pressurized fuel system. So you have to kind of be careful when you're opening the cap anyway. And in fact, you have to release the pressure. There's a little pressure button on the wingtip tanks, right? Is that right? Yeah. It's been a minute. I was probably 20 when this happened. And anyway, I was fueling. You have to do it kind of slow. Kind of like the king air or the fuel kind of has to anyway. But I was fueling it way too fast and I just got a huge

8:53shower, a whole bunch of fuel. It spilled all over me, all over my clothes. In fact, I still have no feeling on the top of my leg, on my right leg, on the thigh because of that. Because I didn't have a change of clothes, so I had to wear my jet A soaked pants for like two or three more hours. Sorry, you won't be able to get any tingles down your leg, their brother. Oh, I only said the right leg. Oh, okay. Left leg works. Yeah. I'll go really quick. Yeah, I just really quickly wanted to share that. That's just did the old Google search for the. Oh, yeah. Yeah. So nice. Yeah, those things were quick. They were one of the fastest turbo props ever. And they were also very dangerous. Yeah. Yeah, medical medical companies actually use those all through like the 70s and 80s into the 90s actually. Yeah. And the one that I the one that I actually fueled was it was an air med.

9:57Mm-hmm. And so anyway. Yes. Cool. All right. Trying to figure out I just I'm clicking on the go back and it's not letting me. How do I do that? Not go back. The go back. No, I'm trying to. Even though I I did the check as you're supposed to do when you're feeling it worked during the check. But when that thing topped off, the fuel vent just got me. We used to have to carry a big like 55 gallon

11:03bucket and put under the fuel vent because these things were notorious for just spitting fuel all over the ramp. Right. Well, it was just a bad day and I guess and for this jet and knocked the bucket over and it just just doused me. Oops. Yeah, I'll never forget that. But anyway, so that's crazy. That's crazy. Anyway, and then I have one quick little ceremony to do before I was going to say I noticed some scribbling on your hat there, brother. Yeah, what's that from you? Yeah. Pretty special moment today. The USAF F-35A demonstration team took the time to come off base and meet with fans. And it says a lot about the whole team. We had the honor of meeting the new demo pilot and commander, Major Sean Rambo Loughlin, grabbing a few photos and shaking hands with every member of the team, class act across the board. They were even kind enough to sign Aaron's hat, which officially means the hats retired to the office shelf from here on. Huge thanks to the entire team for taking the time to connect with the aviation community moments like this. Remind us why we love covering the incredible men and women who make military aviation possible. So that's right. Let's go through some photos here. Yes. Yeah, I love it.

13:05My daughter, Lula, was there with us today. That's not a team member. Like it was the team mascot. They have a leopard now. Exactly. So here's a question. Does the entire team switch out when the new demo pilot comes in? That's funny. Can I answer this Aaron? Because I asked right. I asked the guy and he said, no, he says it's about a 50% switch and he says that way they can continue doing the people that stay on can kind of bring those new people on and they can kind of, you know, learn the ropes of how it goes. And then the next shift, the ones that have been there, the longest will leave. And then it's about a 50% switch because it's funny. He said that because I asked one of those crew members that exact question today. And that's how he explained it to me. So I don't remember all their names because I met him for the first time. But yeah, like Aaron said,
