10:30All right. Following. Breaking the world's last surviving KC 747. Okay. First off, I didn't know that the KC 747 was a thing. Oh, yeah. But I know that I know that there's actually a picture of Boeing with the original. I believe it was the city of Everett, the original 747100. They had a mock-up of a boom. It wasn't operational, but just to kind of test the concept. But anyway, they tested it on that. Yeah. Yep. The last surviving KC 747 aircraft was just targeted and destroyed by the US Air Force at Meribot International Airport in Tyran in Iran in Tehran, good lord. This footage shows the aircraft on fire. The aircraft type originally delivered in the 1970s was a converted Boeing 747131 freighter used as an aerial tanker by the Iranian Air Force and one of the last remaining examples of the early 747100 series still in service. Now, so you see the video on the

11:35left and then this is a zoomed-in shot and that tail certainly does look like a 747 to me. Definitely. Yeah, it does. And then in a follow-up post, he says this footage shows one of several 747 aircraft that were targeted and destroyed by what appears to be the Israeli or US Air Force at Meribot International in Tehran. It's not yet clear whether the aircraft shown is the sole remaining operational K747 tanker of the Iranian Air Force or another Boeing 747 that's currently on fire. So you look at the video here. It's certainly burning like it's a tanker. Yeah, look at that. Looks like an oil refinery. And that definitely looks like a 747. You can see the four engines, right? Jesus, hold the camera still, would you? Who's shooting this? Is this me? Anyway. But anyway, so sad for the 747. Here's a photo from the Iranian Air Force.

You know, Iran at one point had 79 F14s. 79 damn. Do we? Do we talk about 14s now? Oh, yeah, we can. So what's crazy about what's going on over there? And is it Iran or Iran? I don't know. I ran. Yeah, it's almost like we're seeing like a museum with amazing aircraft from the past being destroyed, you know, because all the classic aircraft. I mean,

It's so that they can't keep harassing them at least, you know, but yeah, I mean, it's sad to see all this classic iron go up and flames. But remember, we talked about that when we had the new Area 51 on it. It's like, why do all these cool retro aircraft have to be in these countries that that are having some issues. It's too bad because I know we are seeing a lot of aviation history just get blown up and it sucks. Yeah, I know. So it's pretty sad. A lot of memes out there. 14:49old, they have to be very well maintained. So do we have any confirmation from anywhere that how many of these were actually still operational? I don't know. I mean, I think the last time I saw one of the Iranian F-14s flying was like 2024. I was like an airshow or something going on over there. Gotcha. 19:00officially dead as it looks like they've all been destroyed. We captured these photos in 2004 at Davis Montenegro forced base in Arizona when these were recently retired US Navy F14s. So to think that not long after most of these went into the shredder because of Iran actually. So let's just pull up, pull up these photos. But yeah, I mean, it was just rows and rows. I mean, you can see all the F4s that were retired, you know, in the late 90s, you know, behind it in the 90s. But yeah, I mean, look at that. Look how cool it is. So on the tail of this one, it says deer slayer. So that jet must have hit a deer on the runway somewhere. That's great. That's hilarious. But yeah, I mean, just just rows and rows of Tomcats just just sad.

20:01But yeah, so the military because of Iran decided most of the F14s would actually be shredded because of parts and they didn't want things to get smuggled into Iran to maintain their Tomcat fleet. But, but anyway, I'm glad we at least have the opportunity. Ryan and I were both here at Davis, mom, then for that, unfortunately, Tony wasn't, but, you know, a lot of comments, some people sharing, you know, there's approximately seven F14s at China Lake. They have a lot of station China Lake. You can see that picture, huh? How current is that picture? I'm sure it's pretty current. It looks like a satellite screenshot like Google Maps or something. But, but yeah, I mean, I'm sure they use them for testing and they use them for targets. You've got, you've got some F14s, F4s at an A6, I believe, right? Yeah, yeah, there's definitely a six there's F4s.

21:02Jesus, there's even a vigilante here. Oh, yeah, oh, wow. Yeah, pretty wild. Yeah, but anyway, I want to go there. Yeah, I know that'd be cool. Current list of the A-Mart F14s stored. So they still have some. They've got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight roughly. Looks like as long as they all don't go away, Jesus. Well, there's a lot of museums that still have some and they're on display. So what we need to do is find the next really historical aircraft that we love and find out which country they're in. And then we can place a belt on whether some conflict is going to happen there. Gosh, I know. Anyway, so this, this guy right here, see Phala 72 at TSM 372 at rookie Isaac, can you please save one and get it flying in your fleet?

22:03Exactly, but that was my thoughts earlier, too. Exactly, totally. But anyway, so there's just, you know, a lot of comments. People discussing this post, but yeah, you know, kind of sad, but that's, that's what happens when you got bad guys getting, you know, a hold of some of your awesome iron that you sold them. They had like an aerospace slash kind of air show thing at Salt Lake National and the Navy brought in, brought in an F 14 and I actually have the manual, you know, the, the program from that show and I have the Tom

23:08Kat pilots sign it. So that was kind of cool. But what about you guys? When was the last time I saw I want to say I couldn't remember the year, but I want to say it was at Nellis. Yeah, I want to say that was in the 90s. Yeah, maybe the early 90s. No, no, that was in the 2000. It was 2000. It was one of the shows I wasn't able to go to. Okay. Maybe that's what I'm thinking. I actually had an F 14 demo. I thought you guys were talking about the one that the three of us went with dad to and we stayed in Mesquite and Brian got sunburned and blistered. No, that was that that was the early 90s Tom. Yeah. So that's maybe I just was getting the times mixed up. But I do remember seeing that thing do a high speed pass. Yeah, with the wing swept and yeah. That so I guess Aaron, you remember the time frame better than I do, but it had to have been the early 2000s then probably. Yeah, yeah, it could have been as late as like 2004, 2005.

25:18returned to active service during a post depot functional check flight. Nice. On February 26th, 2026 aviation photographer Ryan Rodriguez shot some really unique images. A naked B1 Lancer venting fuel high altitude over Avaline, Texas. Here's how he recalled the sighting and a message sent to us. February 26th was just another normal day spotting at dice. Whole lot of sitting not much going on. Rodriguez told us playing spotting in a nutshell, right? Waiting and listening to the ground chatter on the scanner. And you know, I just want to add, this is why it's fun to play in spot. Because sometimes you never know what's going to happen, right? Like a box of chocolates. That's right. Possible local bone departure. I was just watching the radar as all the cool aircraft avoid in our area like the plane. I noticed a hex wing, a hex taking off from tinker, honestly, thinking it was

26:20one of the buffs in depot. So I figured I'd keep my eyes on it for the slightest chance of them shooting an approach here, which for thinking finally a few t 38s descended into the D way as pattern. So my focus turned on them. They leave. I get back on the radar to see the hex and West Oklahoma heading south towards Lancer MOA, which is, which is normal. A little bit later, I realized there were a lot lower than normal at 14,000 climbing, but we're south of the MOA and we're belining it my way. By the time they were about 10 miles away, they were leveling off at 19,000 thinking it's a buff. I was thinking to myself, that above. That's not about that is not a bone. That is definitely not above that is a bone. That's a naked bone at that. Sorry. I just couldn't resist. It's, yeah, anyway, that's pretty cool. I'll just finish this paragraph here at at 19 K would be so easy to see,

27:25but I can't see anything. Then I noticed something looks like it's Contrailing, but not at 19,000. So I knew something was different. It's and I'm trails brother. I'm just kidding. Yeah, right. Then I noticed that it's shiny. Nothing at this point is clicking in my mind that I have my lens focused on a unicorn. Finally, realization kicked in as they were directly overhead. With wings back and fuel venting that I have finally seen rage as they made a shallow left bank north back to tinker. It's definitely not the naked bone. I wanted, but it's the naked bone I got and I couldn't be any more happier. Someone, that's what she said. Come on. That's what she said. There you go. Yeah. So I'm trying to find the button. I'm sure David with aviation is was like, yeah, we're going to have to rewrite that for post on social because it'll probably get tagged. Yeah, yeah, right. That thing.

28:25That is just, but anyway, yeah, that would be kind of cool, but it is fun to just catch something when you're out playing spotting that you're not expecting. But if somebody new is arriving, then the raining F 35 demo pilot must obviously they're stepping aside. So it's just how the cycle works. And we we loved our interactions with mock and keep an eye out on the YouTube's just saying because there might be some tribute type videos and yeah. So yeah, we'll keep it on YouTube.
