0:00Today, we're honoring the silent heroes of public health and the famous faces who learned the trade before they found the stage. Welcome to the National Day Spotlight for March 11th. Plumbing is often invisible until something goes wrong, but historians argue that plumbers have saved more lives and doctors by providing the sanitation that eradicated deadly diseases. It's a trade that requires grit in problem solving. Skills that serve some of our biggest stars well before they were famous. Actors like Michael Cain and Locke Legends like Ozzy Osborne both started their careers as plumbers or apprentices. They often credited the hard work and no nonsense environment of the trade with giving them the discipline to succeed in the spotlight. On World Plumbing Day, we celebrate the craftsmanship that keeps our modern world running and the pipes that connect us all to the essential gift of clean water. We really do take advantage of the clean water when we just turn the handle on.

1:03Yeah, we don't appreciate it probably because it's just there. It's just there. It's always been there. Do you imagine Ozzy showing up as your mother? No, I can't. Okay, even Michael Cain would be pretty interesting. Yeah, that's true. Ozzy wins. We're also celebrating National Oak Meal Nut Waffle's Day and National Promposal Day. Hi, my name is Anderson. And I am Marlowe Anderson with National Day Calendar reminding you to celebrate every day.
