Witness Names Oxendine in Bean Shooting

New search horns just dropped in the shooting death of Cumberland County Sheriff's Captain Adam Bean, and they point straight at North Carolina. State Highway Patrol Sergeant Nakeme Oxendine, as the Triggerman, according to a witness. This all went down on the night of March 27th at a home in Hope Mills. The witness, who's also a sheriff's office employee, said Bean showed up heated because Oxendine's truck was parked there. Things escalated quick. Oxendine stepped out with a gun, fired once into the ground, then unloaded several more shots that hit Bean. DVDs found him on his back in the front yard, with the woman doing CPR. Bean and Oxendine both served in law enforcement, and this has folks reeling. Oxendine and 18-year veteran is now on administrative leave while. The State Bureau of Investigation takes the lead. No charges yet, but Warren's mentioned their eye in first, and second degree murder.
