Wisconsin Football Loses Key Recruiter

Taylor Ewald, the director of on-campus recruiting, has taken the same job at Iowa State. Her social media no longer mentions the badgers, and she's already listed on Iowa State staff page for the class of 2026. She started with Wisconsin in May of 2023, as part of head coach Luke Pickle's first recruiting crew. Before that, Ewald worked at Kansas State, marking her return to that part of the college football world after a quick rise through three power four, recruiting roles in five years. Ewald helped shape stand out visit experiences that landed big commitments, especially during tough winter months when Madison's weather can be rough. She played a big, behind-the-scenes part in the badger's strong transfer portal halls alongside other staffers.
