Wisconsin Badgers Promote Linebackers Coach

0:00On March 6th was Conson Badger's football at a rough defensive season in 2025, but their linebackers stood out. True freshman Mason Posah and Cooper Catalano stepped up big with Posah racking up 61 tackles, four tackles for loss, and four sacks. Catalano was right behind with 56 tackles, four and a half tackles for loss, and two sacks. The team just announced a key promotion for assistant linebackers coach Tuft Borland, including him up to inside linebackers coach. This comes as part of several staff changes, including a new White Receivers coach and specialteens coordinator. Borland brings a strong playing background from Ohio State, where he earned defensive MVP honors in the 2020 Sugar Bowl win over Clemson. He was a three time captain there, but his coached only at Wisconsin so far.
