The Golden State Warriors have faced tub times lately, with injury sidelineing stars like Steven Curry and Christophs Porzingus. Winds are scarce, but the bench has stepped up big. Players like Moses Moody, Brandon Podziemsky, Gay Santos, Rookie Will Richard, and two-way-wing Nate Williams are filling the gaps. In Monday nights, 114 to 101 lost to the Los Angeles Clippers, Williams shone brightest. The 27-year-old, undrafted player scored 18 points on five of a shooting in 22 minutes. He added two rebounds, two assists, and a steal while taking on the tough job of guarding Kawaii Leonard. Williams has been on a whirlwind lately. He just became a father and played 36 minutes for the Warriors G-League team in Santa Cruz on Friday, dropping 26 points. Then he suited up for Golden State against the Lakers on Saturday and the G-League Clippers on Sunday, before his strong showing versus the Clippers.
