1:04final which means Penn, Hugh Douglas has punched their ticket into the NCAA tournament. They're a 14 seed in the South bracket. They're going to take on Illinois in the first race. We have a couple of local schools. We have Penn in there as a 14 seed. We also have Villanova who made it as an 8 seed. I know Kevin Willow was on the morning show a few weeks ago. They're first year coach. He was at Maryland and Seaton Hall before that. Well, it's your coach. He's kind of your classic college basketball coach that bounces around and that's what they do now, but he's good where he goes and he got Villanova to the tournament as an 8 seed. So, a couple of local schools, this whole thing tips off, when do you guys consider the NCAA tournament tipping off? I'll play in. So, that's tomorrow. Yeah. So, the first four matchups. Yeah. So, that'd be tomorrow on Wednesday and then Thursday of course, is when the real madness becomes. Friday, it's here. The first round is here Friday night. I knew it was, I knew I didn't know when it was, but okay, that's good. It's cool. We have four games. Philadelphia, Friday. So, I'm excited for the NCAA tournament bracket and to fill out the bracket and all that fun stuff. But I am more excited for what is in front of me right now here as I show everyone on YouTube.

2:04The bracket of Hughes is officially complete 64 versions of Hugh Douglas. All right. And the committee worked tirelessly on this one. I mean, this, I got it just behind the scenes. This took longer than last year. Last year was like one night or two nights of hard work. And now this year, you know, we started the process. We were down in Clearwater. We actually started a few weeks ago on a try day to get some ideas. Then we went to Clearwater, the committee. We tried to finalize it there. We had to come back here and even this morning, just locking in the seats, Hugh, this was not as easy as last year. I felt, I felt like it. There's a lot of use. There's a lot of use. Yeah. And now it's almost like, nearly double the amount because we had, like, we had to consider the entire field this year, this time. And then all the new ones. It could be even harder next year. I know. It's good. It's a project. Yeah. It's, it's our project. And we take it seriously. All right. So Hugh, we have regions this year. In the past, we just had the four quadrants. Okay. Hugh, we have four regions. And we tried to find a way to kind of incorporate all the different eras of your life.

3:04Yeah. So we have, and we're going to have this all up for you to be able to go on, download it, PDF, all that kind of stuff on your phone and your computer, whatever you want to do. So that's coming up. But the top left region this year is our football guy region. Hugh. So that's, that's the part of your life when you were a true football guy. Long time ago. Yeah. He's a long time ago. The bottom left region. So the football guy region will meet this region for a spot in the championship is the actor region. Okay. I want you to, I want you to let us know at the end here if we've hit all the four major parts of your life. So we have football guy. We have actor. Top right region, of course, is the radio guy. Radio. Apparently where you, where you were, yeah, I'm at reside right now. And then the bottom right quadrant is the pop-hop region, which is where you're morphing into as the days, don't you mean I get, I'm gonna get off my lawn. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I don't think so. Well, it's done now. Well, I'm, no, I mean, I'm just saying I'm not, you know, I, I, I, we got some examples of some pop-hop. Mm-hmm. Well, I mean, we have, and that one just for example, we have pop-hop.

4:05We have life alert, um, disaster dog lists. Yep. Yep. I mean, try to say, yeah, yeah, I just wouldn't come on. Home, who's sleepy, sleepy, who, lot, lot of ammo for the pop-hop region. All right. So I know everyone out there was wondering how we were going to see this. I get a lot of messages from people saying this needs to be a high seat. So here is what the committee came, came in with and came together on as the four number one seats. Listen. Okay. Number one in the football guy region is told you so, Douglas, when we hear from all the time, especially when he hits something right and he walks in here, peacock, and we, we see that one on a, I mean, we saw it an hour ago, we're half hour ago. And we talk about Garrett's stuff, taking fly balls in the house. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. The number one seat in the actor region is reckless speculation. Records. Now, just keep in mind here, even when you look at the actual March, man, this NCAA tournament bracket, you're going to have some East Coast teams in the Western region, et cetera. It had an in there. Yeah. One there's 64 only four regions. It's, you know, you can't, can't put them all in, in the exact spot that you might want

5:09to. Right. Listen. And that's what it is. All right. Um, the number one seat in the radio guy bracket, and this is the one that's caused a lot of stir. I imagine when the brackets are submitted, we're going to see a lot of this squad going deep into the tournament. Here, the number one seat in the radio guy region is bottom down, Douglas. Bottom down. Douglas. Well, we just, what was it? The birth sound hall last week. Yeah. It was OG, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. If he's listening, AJ still here. Well, we all know what he's saying. What is Casey, you know, talking about deals was done and whatnot. See, there's like, I told you so, yeah, that's also petty, he'll, yes, um, okay, then the final number one seat in the pop-hop region is tongue tied here, who's a staple, a blue blood. When they let me go, I'm going to go, I'm going to say that you got me tongue tied. That beat me up pretty bad. Yeah. That would be, I don't think I've ever seen one actually, like, maybe potentially almost kill you. As you choked on that. Yeah. Yeah.

6:10I was wondering if we, somebody might have to go in there and give you the highlight. Yeah. It's like, you know, when you, somebody says something and you're like, it was like, what do you say, Mike Quick? Yeah. I said he's from the Galapagos Island and he said, Mike Quick. When did he live in the Galapagol? I can't say that. You got me tongue tied. Yeah. That was, that was horribly bad. That's why it's a one seat. That was horribly bad. All right. Let me quickly give everyone the two seats and then tomorrow we'll kind of go region by region, tell you the matchups and kind of have everyone set for this thing. But just, just so he knows the two seats because I got to be honest, I didn't think there was much difference between the ones and two seats. I think it's a very strong field. I think two seats can absolutely win this thing just like the ones can. So the two seats, and Hugh, I think you're going to like this because the two seats are I think very strong this particular year. The two seat in the football guy region is off the leash. Hugh. Yeah. That's the one that, you know, dating issues and all of the stuff that we hear about him a lot lately. Yeah. Yeah. He's, he's a, he blew, he burned some bridges. Got to tell you. I think that's a big seed for me. Do you think too high?

7:10Maybe. Okay. But look, this is the bracket. It's not brackets, don't it? It's in pounds. It's in it. It's in it. The selections have been made. All right. The number two seed in the actor region is 3D Douglas. Another one that has come on. I think that's a strong content. Yes. In a big way in recent weeks here in months. Number two seed in the radio guy bracket is spin doctor Douglas who we hear from. People. I'd say three, four times a week. Every week. No, I just tried to tell y'all in a way, and I tried to explain it in a way that you understand it. Yeah, it's the cornerstone. Got to understand. I don't understand. I don't understand. And the number two seed in the pop-up region, one of my favorites is come on home here. Come on home. I saw a couple of people this weekend that just need to come on home, but you know what? It's funny because a lot of people, when you say that and you don't really know, they really know, it's not received. Of course not. You're telling them to shake their head first? Well, I was like, hey, don't do respect. Come on home. I was going to say, probably forgot to say with Alder, but I didn't get it because the guy when we were at the, I had that, you know, we had the liquor tasting thing early

8:11in a year. Yep. Young cat. And he was trying to crack jokes when I told him to come on home. He got a little upset. I just liked dog. I saw a young for you here to be received. I sent it to you guys. There was a lion that needed to come on home. Is that right? Yeah. I've never seen a lion like that. He did need to come on home. Yeah. And he was one that you probably should go talk to. All right. We will give you the full bracket. It'll be out there tomorrow for you to download and share. And when I hope it's still out here on bracket. And I did lose the battle with Upper Room Hue. I had to, I had to rename the region to the pop-hop region. Why did we change it again? Upper Room Hue was out. Oh, because Upper Room Hue didn't make the tour. And I tried to strong arm everybody and get an Upper Room Hue in and you guys over me. Well, the voting was the voting. And then what are we going to do? I didn't have to be. I couldn't believe it. When you tip off a, when you tip off a playing game, you have to be okay with the result. There you go. Listen, the people spoke. And the people will speak on this as well. Look, just like we do on WIP, we cry over spilt milk. Oh, that's really mostly what we do around here.

9:11All right. One quick thing before we get to you people on a couple of phone calls here, see in Darius Sly, call it a career. Is that what's going on here? There's a rap. Okay. The weekend that he would only play for the Eagles and feels like that ship is sale now. Yeah. Well, he probably found out that he wasn't going to be invited back. Hey, a heck of a career. I would say, borderline hall of fame. I would say right below hall of fame. I don't think he's a hall of fame, but hall of very good. Yeah. Very good career. It was a great try by the Eagles when they tried to three and a five if my memory serves in 2019 to get him. I didn't think his first year, first year, year here was great, but then he played very well for about three years and gave them a lot of good football. And then I thought it was over after 23 and he came back for that one more year in 24. He was pretty decent. And he was, he was a fine number two corner on it on a great defense. It's a really, really good run by Darius Sly and Eagles. And then on a high note too. Yeah. Well, the, you know, he did the annoying stuff at the podcast and that moment in 23 or he said, I want all my team to stuff. Yeah, whatever else he wants to do in life, wish you nothing, but I mean, I think he

10:14will end up going down. Remember, this is a great equal. No question. How many years was he here? Five. Since 2020 or is it 19 or 20? Okay. But either way that five years, he played here long enough. Yeah. Yeah, he'd be in a hall. You think he's an Eagles hall of fame? I think so. You know, maybe. I just think I was, because if he checks enough boxes, also like you have to remember what the cornerback situation here was before he got here. He was bad. Yeah. I would say so. I mean, you know, I don't have a vote, you know, but I would, I would think right now, you should have a vote. You should have a vote. Not him. I want to do that. That is too much of a possibility. Three pro bowls in his six, five years as an eagle, a super bowl, went to two super bowls. I think he's pretty darn close to an Eagles hall of fame or so congrats to Darius Sly on a really good career. Not just here, but in the NFL. He made three other pro bowls with the Lions and was an all pro one time. That's his career with he ended up with 28 interceptions. Yeah, I say just cut just below, yeah, where that hall of fame level is, but certainly good enough to be an Eagles hall of fame. Let's go to the phone lines here. Max and Swedes borrows up on WIP.

No. No. It's more impressive to be an MVP. It's not even a debate. It is. No, it's not. It's the MVP of the Super Bowl. Yes, it's not. It's one game. If you're the MVP, if you're the MVP of the regular season, you are the best player among every team in your league. If you're the MVP of the Super Bowl, you're the best player in one particular game, but your season was good enough to get to see which is a team thing. So, but here's my thing. If you put up a list of all the season MVP winners and a list of all the act of the Super Bowl MVP winners, the MVP of the season list is way more decorated. It's way more Hall of Famers. It's just. And how many of those cast have the ultimate prize, though, the Super Bowl? But that's separate. Jalen got the Super Bowl MVP of the Super Bowl, but not as impressive. Super.

Jalen gets bashed a lot for someone who's won a title. Now I'm going to tell you, I'll give you a good example. I never see Jalenhurt that says not only I never see him crying about his contract,

13:16but he's not going to win anything. That door, it's closed, the fillies are done. It couldn't beat the hours of the diamond back when they were a plus one 50 in that. That was brutal. I was brutal. I'm excited. It was brutal. Yes. So if you think he's going to win now, watch. Then the fangs are going to start coming out when they start losing. He's going to want the contract to stretch and then he's going to blame the Browski for calling and saying he's not a lady, he can't concentrate. This guy's a fraud. Yeah, he gets, he gets regular fees of stats. He's the Josh out of football. That's pretty good. I mean, that's not a terrible comp. Actually, I don't even have the lead at the highest OPS in postseason history. Josh has a good, that's true. Okay. I see it. But I'm telling you, it bothers me to Jalenhurt, and I'm not saying it from this show, but in general, Jalenh catches a lot of flak because the truth is, and the two best games

14:17against the best quarterback in the last 15 years. He's in strawberry 80. He beat him. He was better. That didn't just mutate. You're right. That part about Jalenhurt's career is, you can't, it is. That's the best part. Max Goodfunk. You're not going to see me fight back on Jalenhurt playing well in both of those. He did. I thought the first one he was great, and he made one mistake, but he was 99% great in the first football. He was an impactful player of the whole game, and he brought him back down to tie the game with the two-point conversion. And I think if they had time, if there wasn't the penalty, I think they would have scored again. I think Jalenhurt has scored again. But he hasn't played as great since that season. That's the truth. There's a little bit of a fallacy in this whole thing. It's almost like, I equate it to, if enough people say that this certain thing is overrated, are they actually overrated anymore? No, because enough people. It's so like, with the whole, Jalenhurt gets so much crap. Bryce Harper gets no crap. However new here, Bryce Harper gets no crap. Isn't that giving him crap? It's a way of talking about the crap he gets. I'm afraid.

15:17I also don't think that Jalenh gets that much crap. I think Jalenh's talked about, is the Eagles quarterback. Every Eagles quarterback gets talked about at an outsized level. So when he plays well, people are excited. When he doesn't, people are going to be critical. He's the most talked about athlete in the city. Jalenhurt plays until the A.J. trade starts. Jalenhurt from us gets to pump the brakes on a little bit. Because people have to take it too far. He's the best quarterback ever. Grace the Earths. I think that's a pretty high number considering these are exhibition games in a sense. I mean, I know that we want to win. Yeah, but the unfortunate thing is for Bryce is because of everything that happened and transpired in the off season. And last season. These are our only games that we get to see and play in so we're gonna, we're gonna, you know, critique him in that way. And we know he's taking it seriously. Yes. If it was spring training, I think it'd be way easier to say it's spring training. Yeah, because it's safe to probably say that that he, even though he probably is not gonna let it show the fact that he hasn't had a good showing so far. He's got to hit it. Did you know that every Eagles fan every, every moment of all day thinks that they're the best team ever? Uh, that's the sounds about right. Those are the rules. And if you're not, if you don't think that, not a true fan, you're not a fan. Uh-huh. So if you watched a game with that person, would they be shocked when the Eagles lose you? I mean, they must be. Yeah. Yeah, like, like this year, when the Eagles lost the 49ers, I wasn't shocked. I thought they'd win the game when that Sunday started, but I watched the whole season. And I thought they couldn't score happen. Yeah. I don't know how you handle that. You can't see things with some sort of level head. Yep. Uh, is Kyle okay? No. Are you okay? No, I don't know.
