Wild Horse Nine: McDonagh's New Thriller

Searchlight Pictures just dropped the official trailer for Wild Horse 9, the latest film from Oscar-winning director, Martin McDonough. It stars John Malkovich as CIA agent Chris and Sam Rockwell as his partner Lee. The story follows the two on a mission to Easter Island right before the 1973 Chalancou, where they face their dark histories and risky secrets amid the island's famous statues. In the trailer, the agents try to stay under the radar, but Chris strikes up a chat with two rebellious students that could derail everything. Their boss, played by Steve Buscemi, warns that Chris might not make it off the island. The film also features Tom Wates and Parker Posey, with McDonough handling writing, directing, and producing duties alongside others. Fans are buzzing about this reunion, especially since Rockwell has teamed up with McDonough before, in films like Seven Psychopaths and Three Billboards. Outside Eving, Missouri, Rockwell even snagged a best supporting actor Oscar for that one.
