Let’s walk through the B-A-P-T-I-S-T acrostic:

B – Biblical Authority

📖 2 Timothy 3:16–17

• The Bible is our final authority
• We believe in the fundamentals: Deity of Christ, Virgin Birth, Blood Atonement, Resurrection, Inerrancy, Trinity
• We have a perfect Bible

A – Autonomy of the Local Church

📖 Acts 20:28

• Self-governed under Christ—not ruled by a denomination
• Our Headquarters is Heaven

P – Priesthood of the Believer

📖 1 Peter 2:9

• No priest needed—we have direct access to God through Jesus

T – Two Ordinances

• Baptism (Acts 2:41) and The Lord’s Supper (1 Cor. 11:26)
• Both are for believers only—pictures of our faith
