Inside the Consciousness Science Suggesting Your Mind Reaches Far Beyond the Boundaries of Your Brain (Arnaud Delorme)

About this episode

Arnaud Delorme is a research scientist at the University of California San Diego and the Institute of Noetic Sciences who has spent more than 20 years studying the brain. He created EEGLAB, the most widely used EEG analysis software in the world, and is the author of Why Our Minds Wander. His consciousness research spans mind wandering, meditation, and the question of whether the mind is purely a product of the brain.

In this episode, we explore the science of mind wandering and what consciousness science is revealing about awareness that may extend beyond the brain. This conversation is for founders, leaders, and anyone curious about meditation, human potential, and inner work who wants rigorous data behind their practice. You will learn why your mind wanders, why presence makes you happier, and what double blind experiments suggest about expanded consciousness and our interconnected nature.
