Why do filmmakers hate Youtube? James Cameron has hired someone immediately after watching their YouTube video. But if you’re posting your artsy film on YouTube, and working with YouTube’s “retention rules” doesn’t that mean you can’t make your film the way you intend? He has edited films that have been to Sundance and Cannes, but he is best known for his YouTube channel ThisGuyEdits. Sven is the rare content creator who has a foot both in the Youtube world and in the traditional film world. And so we wanted to have the conversation.
