Tyler Reddick here from 2311 Racing. Another checkered flag for the books. Time to celebrate with Chamba. Jump in at chambacacino.com. Let's Chamba. No purchase necessary, BTW Group. Boy, we're prohibited by law. CCNC, 21 Plus, sponsored by ChambaCacino. You guys, Carl Zah is here. And, you know, we saw this carny meeting with in China. And we had to talk about it. We had to bring back the Kung Fu Yoga series, which is really more like Kung Fu maple syrup or like dumplings in maple syrup now. It's a beautiful combination. I mean, oh, yeah. So I, yeah, tell me. Tell me why you had, go ahead. No, no, go ahead, go ahead. You go first. Like, okay. So because listeners who may be familiar with this series,
you know, Carl and I have got together to talk over the years, every time there's been a dramatic Canada China story. So some of the Canada China stories that we have discussed was when Canada literally kidnapped a major Chinese executive and for years on behalf of America, we covered a whole fear mongering campaign about supposed Chinese interference in Canadian elections, which had no evidence, but there are books written about it. There are a couple of journalists that just pursued it and won awards for it and then had to apologize and leave their newspapers. Their newspapers got sued because it's all defamatory false stuff. And now we're covering something on, you know, I didn't think we would be covering this. Thank you.
Thank you, Comra Trump. Thank you, Comra Trump will make you happy. Comra Trump. Do nothing. She did things strategy. Do nothing and win. Okay. So what happened? The proximate event we're discussing tonight is Mark Carney, the Prime Minister of Canada, had the first meeting with China in eight years, I think, for a Canadian Prime Minister to go to China. There was a really embarrassing meeting when Trudeau was Prime Minister, where he leaked some information, some kind of thing from a meeting that was supposed to be closed doors and then Xi Jinping was like, oh, you don't do that, man. Don't do that and Trudeau. Everybody loved it and everybody loved it when Xi Jinping chewed out Trudeau. He was a Canadian, because they did that like finally. They hated Trudeau by that point. And Trudeau had to go like he had to kind of walk out of the roof and like go into like the kitchen or he like, God knows where he went.
Maybe he went to call Katy Perry or something. And that was like the last meeting that I know about and the rest of it has been all like kind of smears. And so there were certain tariffs that Trump imposed on the Canadian economy, which was gonna, you know, on its way to crashing the whole Canadian economy. The agricultural products are a major one. And then Canada is totally dependent on the US in every way, like it's really funny because Mark Carney came and said, you know, we're gonna fight back and we're gonna, we're gonna make a new deal and he's a tough negotiator and he's a central banker and stuff. But everything that he did was just give America everything they wanted. That was what are you gonna do? Like they buy everything Canada has. They sell us everything that Canada needs.
You know, like we're talking on Skype. Like, you know, my work computer uses Microsoft. Like Google, I searched this up using Google. Like we message each other using WhatsApp. What are we talking about? The idea that Canada's gonna, how, like the Canadian government is gonna send each other a bunch of emails over Microsoft and tell them we're gonna, we're gonna take on America now. Like search up on Google, like, you know, a call up chat GPT and say, hey, tell me how to take on America. No, but then, and yet, now, here we are where Mark Carney went to China and several of the things that have been announced so far are already the tariff on all the advanced Chinese electric vehicles, 49,000 of them to start has gone from 100% to 6%.
There's China's gonna buy Canola oil, which is the canola, I don't know if people know this, but canola means Canadian, the can in Canola means Canadian. It's like, oh really? I do not know that. Yeah, that's Canada. I thought Canola is a plant. No, I thought Canola is some special plant. No, it's during World War II, I think. And there were certain sources of oil that the Americans needed. They needed vegetable oil. And the Canadians, you know, diverted however much land to growing this oil or growing these rapeseed. I think it's rapeseed. And then now, and that became Canola. So now China's gonna benefit from the Canola. China's gonna use the Canola oil. It has a high smoke point, it's a decent oil. Yeah, it's a great oil. I don't know. You cook. China happened, I think was the largest purchaser, kind of oil up to the point when China's slap sanction
off the tariff on Canada in retaliation of Canada's slapping 100% tariff on Chinese EV. So like that actually caused a lot of problem for Canadian farmers because they depended on the Chinese market. Just like the soybean farmer in the United States depended on the Chinese market. And so now the deal is, I guess, Carnies like, okay, sorry, we're just kidding. You know, I understand we did this thing for United States. We slapped 100% tariff on China EV because Biden administration won this too. And we detained Meng Wan. So again, because the first Trump, I think it was first Trump administration that wanted us to. And so we're sorry, let's get back on track. And which is funny because now a lot of conservatives, Canadian conservatives who are angry that Carnies go into China, they're now calling him a hypocrite by pointing out Carnies used to say China is our biggest security threat, right?
And well, I think that actually shows that there's some degree of flexibility in Canadians politics, you know, like to be a politician, you need to be pragmatic, right? Maybe pragmatic is too strong on tariff, but you need to be flexible. Yeah, but certainly, you know, I would have thought that I didn't think, I didn't think the Canadian elite had this in them. You know, I, I, I, I, I, I, that's a bright, I'm not, you're good. You know what, Canadians actually, Canadian leadership actually had more balls than the Europeans, you know, I, I, like, yeah, and you know, I don't think the Europeans are still bowing and scraping. So here's one, here's one question. Do you think that, do you think that the Venice, the kidnapping of Maduro here in the atmosphere,
maybe made Carnie, like a little bit more afraid of America? Well, you think that made him realize? That's a possibility. But, but if Trump had just limited his ambition at Venezuela strictly, I'm sure Carnie, like other European leader would have just, you know, stick to the party line. Oh, you know, this is a victory for democracy, you know, like authoritarian regime must, must be brought to heal. But Trump didn't stop there. The thing is really, I think it's about Trump going off to Greenland. Yeah, and, and, and, and remember Trump had said he also wanted to make Canada the 51st state. But now he's really making a serious effort going after Greenland. And if you look at it, for people who, you know, to look at a map, if US were to acquire Greenland, Canada, literally, Fox 10, all signed by,
by mainland USA, by Alaska, by Greenland. So, yeah, I would, I would be a little bit nervous, too, if that, if I mean Carnie, see. So Greenland is like Canada's strategic depth. Is that where the Canadian RV would retreat in the event of an invasion? No. Well, I'm not, not strategic depth. It's just there will be Canada will literally be a land locks, landlocked country, you know, like you'll be surrounded by the United States on all sides. So, yeah, I think, and plus Trump has repeatedly said that he's going to take over Canada as well. So, I mean, people thought he was just kidding. You know, people thought he was kidding about Greenland. Well, he wasn't kidding about Greenland. He's really, he really meant it. Yeah. So, do you think, I mean, while we're talking about Greenland, do you, do you think that, because I don't think
anybody in Greenland is going to fight the Americans if they land there? So, I suppose if he wants it, he can take it. Oh, yeah, I mean, no doubt, I mean, I don't think, I don't think NATO is going to fight NATO, right? I mean, I, well, I mean, we have the presence of a NATO member, you know, going after another, well, like we had the Turkish invasion of Cyprus, right, before Turkey being a NATO member, Greece being the other NATO member, and then NATO didn't do anything. And you have, you have actually Calis, the European High Commissioner for Foreign Affairs and Security, she actually just tweeted out. She said, oh, you know, it's bad for the allies to fight among ourselves, you know, for whatever, happy in Greenland, this can be resolved within NATO. I'm like, what's it mean? How can you resolve within NATO with the largest NATO member
is attacking another NATO member? What the heck are you going to do? And she wasn't even brave enough to mention Trump's name, you know, like this is insane. Yeah, there are just so many unthinkable things that have happened in the past few weeks, that I don't even know, yeah, it's very disorienting, but the fact that Canada did this, the fact that Karni did this is it's a big deal. I don't know how big of a deal it is in China. Do you have any, are people laughing in China? Like they must be laughing their heads off China. I mean, this is a much bigger deal than I expected, right? I knew Karni was going to China, you know, I briefly mentioned it on my last show, but I just didn't think he would be a big deal because let's face it, Canada is just not that important. Yeah, bigger scheme of things, but I think it's a reaction from the Anglo sphere, especially on the social media.
There's a lot of angry conservative Canadians and there's a lot of angry Americans. Now, like on Twitter, now there's full of Americans saying, oh yeah, you did that, we're going to take you over now. And this is like, this is really weird if you think about it. China is, oh, China, United States and Canada, they're to each other's largest trading partner. Canada is the largest trading partner, vice versa. And China is Canada's second largest trading partner. And China is US third largest trading partner after all the Trump sanction and stuff. So now it's like the United States is looking angry at Canada, it's largest trading partner to go hammer a deal with China. It's certainly largest trading partner. Right, like a lot of people are saying, this is like, you know, it's about like, it's almost like a jealous ex fighting over the new relationship that it always acts.
Well, so can that Canadian history with China is interesting? Because I think sometime around 2003, there was a big team China thing all over the newspapers and so it was John Crittian and he was the prime minister and he and a whole team and his finance minister and everybody, they all went to China and it was a big trip and it was a big fanfare and they came out with all these deals and it was this big deal. And I guess, you know, Karnie said, oh, the other clause in the deal is visa free travel to China from Canada for visits. Did you see that one? There's also visa free travel for Canadian visitors to China and Karnie said, this is again, this is the same person who during the leadership debate was asked what's the biggest security threat and just casually was like China, China, China.
And Trump had already been talking about annexing Canada at that point, you know, but when the genocide was going on and, you know, all this interference that could be, but anyway, Karnie said, he tweeted nearly two million Canadians are of Chinese descent, many with family and friends across the Pacific. As we renew this relationship, China has committed to soon allowing Canadians to visit without a visa. You see all these angry comments under his tweet and he like, all these people is like, I don't want to go to China. Why would you do that? It's like, nobody's forcing you to go, dude. It's, it's option. It's option you can have if you choose to. What is forcing you to go to China? And no, it's, it's, it's amazing. It's amazing. So, so, yeah, what do you,
are you like on the Chinese internet? What are people saying about this? Is it people must be tickled? Well, I haven't really, I haven't really looked at Chinese internet because I have been glued to, to the X. It's so much entertainment. There's so much entertainment on the X side of things. You know, like all these Americans are upset of Canadians, like, what? It's a trading relationship. They're not forming like a military alliance or anything. They're literally just angry out here. Who knows, who knows? Who knows? Maybe, I mean, you know, and, but yeah, I work at a really whole in terms of the military relationship. I just wanted to say I work at a, at a pretty large university. I think it's around 40, 50, between 40 and 50,000 students and faculty and staff and everything. And I think that that university is a little bit bigger
than the Canadian army. So, I'm not sure if, it's another, it's another situation where if the Americans decided that they wanted to take over, I'm not sure what options Canada would have, which is why. Yeah, well, I mean, like, if you think about it, Canada used to have a pretty, enjoys a pretty good reputation in China because when little Chinese kids are growing up, in school, they're learning, yes, normative too, coming to, coming to China to help out. That's what little Chinese kids are learning, you know, they're impression on Canada. And as you say, the Canadian-Chinese relationship have been pretty good up to, up to Trudeau, I would say, up to Trudeau. It's one Trudeau on the behalf of the first Trump administration
to kidnap Mung Wan, so the CTO or CFO of Huawei. And that's when the relationship turns sour, right? And then, after that, it's all this accusation. There's also like the crank up, really crank up the propaganda campaign inside Canada about all the things that we talk about, how China have secret police station, China is monitoring, China is, you know, trying to interfere in the Canadian politics. I mean, the same playbook they did in the other five on Iconfield, Australia, you know, they try that method before, it was successful, they did it. The Canada was the second one to follow that model. But now we're finally at a point where, you know, Donald Trump is being so ridiculous that that Carney is doing this 180 degree turn. And I was, you know what, I think it's a big deal
because he showed the alternatives, what could be to the other European countries as well as other Anglo five I members, you know, you still have countries like Australia, New Zealand, UK, you know, they're still being playing the playing puppy dogs of United States. And here, Canada just bolted, you know, there. And yeah, go ahead. Just speak like to again, like a little, these are all pieces of Canadian history that I think a lot of Canadians listening will know. But during the election, so people hated Trudeau, you know, Trudeau was in office for 10 years or whatever. So after a while, everybody hates the person that everybody hates the incumbent. That's sort of how Canada, I think it's probably everywhere. But in Canada, that's how politics goes. And so everybody hated Trudeau.
And the conservatives who are, of course, like, super pro-Israel, just like the Liberals, super anti-China, just like the Liberals. But like, you know, a little bit more nasty in various ways, especially in terms of how they talk about other Canadians, whatever. Anyway, they were on track to winning. They were ahead, you know, the Pierre Polly Evre was surging in the polls. And then Trump started talking about the 51st day. And, you know, some conservatives like went to America and visited Trump and was like, can you knock that off? Like, we're about to win. And if you keep this up, like, people are going to, and then the Liberals position themselves really cleverly, you know, Trudeau came and he had the speech and people started liking Trudeau a little bit, and then he laughed. He just accented stage right.
Hey, like, it was a perfect move. And then they brought this guy, nobody knew who he was. They were like, oh, Mark Garnie's coming. And he got rid of the carbon tax. And he was like, so no carbon tax, no Trudeau. And now Trump is talking about making you the 51st day. So, and Polly Evre is a Trump guy. Like, he wants to make Canada great again. He had really, like, leaned into the Trumpism. And so they just, they wiped the conservatives out in the election. And so in a way, you could say that Garnie does have some kind of mandate to pursue these kinds of things because he ran kind of against Trump and won because he was running against Trump. So like, however unpopular China is, Trump is pretty unpopular right now. Still in Canada. So, and he keeps, he's the gift that keeps on giving
in that sense, right? Like, he never, he never lets up. Like, the conservative allies told him, like, if you could tone it down, that would be great. And he was like, we, he was like, yeah, sure. And then he came out and did the 51st day thing again. So, well, I think, you know, Trump, he has, he only think Trump is concerned about is his own image, his own domestic image in United States. I mean, right now he's positioning himself as a great American president. You know, what does a great American president do? You expand America. And that's, that's what he wants. He is building his legacy right now. He probably won another statue carve out of his face on the Mont-Rache board, you know? And this is the whole, this is, this is why we're in the Greenland business and this is why he said he wants to add X Canada. And, but he hasn't actually done any of those things yet.
He hasn't successfully expanded anything. Well, what has he done? He hasn't even regained change in Israel yet, right? I mean, like, yes, he kept that Maduro, yes. But this is still the same government in Caracas. And, but, but that's, that's Trump. He, he knows how to get the spotlight because being the natural reality TV show host is, he is, he know how to look good for the television and at least to grab people's attention. So people don't question about Epstein files, for example. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, for sure. But, you know, since we're here, like, how much do you think? Because there's, there's Trump's being kind of erratic and Trump doing these things to distract from scandals and, and Israel's need to keep going into one conflict after another to, you know,
not reckon with the generalized dissent and to madness of their society. But, like, how much is this also, like, a grand strategy of the US to try to get China out of Venezuela and try to get China out of the hemisphere and try to get, you know, oil, like, try to get China in Iran, I guess, out of the Venezuelan and Russia out of the Venezuelan oil game. Like, do you think that this is, this is some rational grand strategy as well in terms of these moves? Well, I mean, that's, there's, they are, they're excuse, right? That's a state of reason why US is militarily interme in Venezuela because we have to keep China, Russia, Iran and all these bad actors out of our hemisphere.
But what is really keeping Venezuelan oil going to China, rather than United States? It's because the sanctions, because the sanction level by the first Trump administration and that's what's an oil executive ex-an mobile actually told him during the hearings, like, we left Venezuela in 2019 because sanctions. And that, you know, all they have to do is lift the sanctions and the oil will flow back to United States. But, but the only reason China right now is the largest buyer of Venezuel oil about like 90% is because US action. Only China is big enough and say, you know what, we're not going to worry about sanctions. We're going to keep, US action, we're going to keep buying Venezuelan oil. You know, same thing, this is how China became the largest buyer of Iranian oil. It's because Iran, like Venezuela, was under sanctioned by EU and United States.
You know, if you lift the sanctions, you know, the oil will flow back to China. Everybody gets paid. But, but like, yeah. So if the strategy is to try to get China out, this, like, this is, it's not working because now even Canada is trying to get China in and buy Chinese cars. Like, the cars thing is also a pretty big deal in Canada. So because Canada, Canadian manufacturing jobs are auto industry and they're basically what in Canada are known as branch plants. So it's American branch plants and American companies like producing cars in Canada. Here's the, here's the, here's the kicker car. They like producing cars in Canada, mainly because they don't have to pay employer side health insurance. Because the Canadian government pays the health insurance.
So, so the package, you know, because of the exchange rate as well, like if the, if the exchange, if the Canadian dollar is low, which it is right now, and you don't have to pay health care, it's actually pretty competitive to produce American cars here. So on the other hand, you know, if there's unions and you want to do union busting, you can always leave and go back to America and find some lowest common denominator place. And so, you know, but Canadians also want these cars. Like, everybody sees what these cars can do and like everybody wants these cars of them and how cheap they are for what they have. So people are, you're gonna see these BYD cars in Canada pretty soon. And that's, that's gonna be another thing, man. Like, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I mean, I did not expect that to happen. I did not expect that to happen by the way. I mean, like, this is, I think the only reason
it happened is because of Trump. I mean, I, yeah, yeah. No, Canada doesn't, like, I didn't, I thought this was like too big of a leap for Canadians. But like, if Carney did it, like Carney's not a, like a, Carney's not like Trump. Like, Carney is like the consensus of the Canadian elite. Like, Carney is a conservative, actually. He's not like a liberal. He's a, he's a banker. He's a central banker. Yeah. He's a central banker. The man is a banker. He stole Venezuela's gold. I think he was the bank of England banker. Like, like, it's, it's, like, you realize, like, if you look at Carney's career, you kind of see that Canada is not really a country. Like, why is a Canadian in charge of the bank of England? And then, like, what, how could that be? And the reason that is is because there's not a country of Canada. There's an Anglo-Sphere with the elite
that, like, go to different universities in the Anglo-Sphere and travel between and seamlessly command these different resources. So that means, all of which means that this is a bigger decision to, to, to have a different relationship with China inside the Anglo-Sphere, inside the Five Eyes. So, like, how deep does this go? Yeah, I mean, I already saw some brids are saying, why don't we have free visa to China? Why don't we get free visa free to China, right? And because all the other countries in you, you are already getting it for France, Germany, and they're wondering, why we left that? Well, you know, reasons. Yeah. Well, they got a lot of free stuff from China over the years. Didn't they?
Well, I mean, I don't think it's about history. It's really about their, you know, UK has been the, you know, basically the, the deputy of the United States. You know, US is not getting any visa free to China anytime soon, you know, because... So, I mean, I do think, I do think that America can punish. I was expecting punishment to be swift and decisive, but did you see Trump's answer? Yeah, Trump says, oh, that's good. You know, Canada, it's good. They should have trade deals. Which is really interesting, because you have all these angry Americans and angry Canadian right-wing commentators on X are going ballistic over Carney, going to China. And here's Trump saying, of course, they should do business with China. Yeah, so something else is happening. I mean, I don't know. I mean, probably, probably we're going to record this and then post it, and then there's going to be a war
where they're run before we're like finished talking. So there may be just like bigger fish to fry here in terms of America and Israel and what they're trying to do in the world. But like, nonetheless, big fish or small fish, like this is, this is, it's strange. And it's mind-boggling, because yeah, like I do think that America has lots of ways they could punish Canada if they want to. Obviously, trade ways, but like legal ways and law fair kinds of ways, like they could attack, based on breach of contract or kidnap leaders, like they could do to Canada what Canada did to Mengwan Zhou, right? Oh yeah. But Carney, they could do to Canada what they did to Maduro. They could take Carney and then try them in the state. And they could put them in the same jail that Luigi and Maduro are in now.
Did you know that Luigi and Maduro are in the same jail? Yeah, I saw that. Oh, the world man. I wish they just livestreamed that stuff. You know, livestreamed the jail life. That will be like the highest rated, you know. Like if there's a gym and they're working out together or something, like teaching salsa, like Maduro's teaching salsa to the inmates, I don't know, I just don't know. So yeah, so economically, legally, and then they could also retaliate militarily. Like there are a lot of a great many Canadians, including in the police and the army, that are loyal to the states, you know. And para militaries and truckers and all kinds of people that are loyal and pro-Israel people, like the pro-Israel militias obviously would go and do whatever they were supposed to based on what the Americans want. So I think there's a lot they could do.
And I think it was interesting to me that the first thing Trump did was like cool everybody down and say, no, they're supposed to make deals. And in contrast of what Trump is doing to the Europeans right now, because Trump just announced that he's imposing another 10% tariff on France, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, and UK for if and that he will increase the tariff to 25% on June 1st, if a deal to acquire Greenland is not reached. So you know, Canada is exclusive on that list. This, I think that bolstered my thesis. That, you know, because Trump is a bully, you know, he only respects strip. He does, he despise weakness, he prey on weakness. The Europeans have been bending over backwards. So he thought, oh, this is easy.
I'm gonna keep on pushing. But whenever Trump receive a pushback, when China said no on the trade war, China's, Trump said, oh, Xi Jinping is my best friend. And I think because Canada is showing some sort of backbone, Trump is not like, you know, he's climbing down a little bit. He's not pushing the issue as people expected him to, because he's a bully, he's a bully. That's his, that's the only way to deal with a bully is you have to negotiate from strength. You can't, you can't like do what the Europeans do, man. They they're trying, trying to curry favor by, you know, when, when Trump says job, they ask how high, but that doesn't work. So Denmark makes, oh, Xi Jinping. Yes, yes, they do. They also have some IP pattern on the latest insulin products, a lot of insulin products they do. So, so that, that's why I was joking, you know,
Denmark will be fine as long as they're still fat Americans. Denmark economy will be fine. So, the tariffs though are like, again, Trump never understood what tariffs are because tariffs work if you have a comparable product that you want to make, but they don't have a comparable product to Ozempic. So, all you're going to do is make it more expensive. Well, they were, they were put, you know, back in April, they were placing tariff on coffee, you know, U.S. do not produce coffee. Right. And they only realized that several months later, they were, oh, okay, okay, we're going to roll back the tariff on coffee. But I don't think it's very well thought out, you know, like most of the Trump plans. So, I don't, yeah, so I guess so far, Karin, he's just got away with it.
Luckily Irish, is he Irish? I think from his name that he's background Irish. He just, he doesn't look like there's going to be any punishment. It looks like a good deal. And now he's off to Qatar. Yeah. To join the Muslim Brotherhood. Is that what they're saying on social media? No, I just know that that's Qatar, right? I mean, Qatar and Turkey, that's like their politics is. Yeah. It's just, yeah, it's pragmatic. You know, I think it's, I think it's really good for China to have this. You know, during all these post-World War II, you know, I think there was oftentimes when Canada would be like the intermediary between America
and Cold War opponents. You know, with Cuba, like Canadians have always gone to Cuba. And so if Americans want to go to Cuba, they go via Canada, things like that. So, I don't know, maybe this will be some beautiful bridge between America and China and this troubled time. Mark Carter. It was a time. It was a time in, after September 11th, you know, all these American tourists, they're starting putting maple flags on their backpack to claim their Canadians. And that also happened in 1999 when US bombed the Chinese embassy in Belgrade. You know, certainly all the Americans in China claimed their Canadians. You know, so, so, so, you know, Canada happened to have, you know, even though it's pretty much, you know, hang around of the US Empire, you know, participating all these NATO interventions.
But Canada has like this reputation being like the gentler, you know, the gentle angle cousins of United States. And so, yeah. Well, I'm doing that again. Yeah. Right. Yeah. This is good for Canada and China. Yeah. And speaking of that, you know, when Venezuela happened, I see a lot of people on social media as well as my YouTube channel comments saying, oh, if China and Russia don't intervene, you know, don't stop United States from walking all over their allies, nobody will ally with China and Russia anymore. You know, nobody will want to have any business with China and Russia anymore. Well, I'm like, hey, just wait, wait for, wait for Canada. Wait for, wait for Cardi. No, I mean, yeah, like I, I think I think on both of our channels, we've talked about this, like, you know, Iran didn't want that kind of help.
Venezuela also never asked for a military intervention by China. They never, in any time, they always said, you know, if America invades, we will defend ourselves and we want peace. And that's basically like how China talks to, right? China always talks that same way. It's not like we want to be saved by others. It's that we want peace. But don't think you can walk all over us. Yeah. And I think people also have, you know, maybe they're somehow overestimate China's capability, because unlike United States, China do not have military bases all around the world. So which means China actually do not have the same level of power projection as United States. You know, Chinese Navy simply lacks the, you know, the power projection capability into Caribbean.
It sounds America being one of those places in the world. That's a furthest away from China. California is not closer to China than Venezuela. That's right. It's the Chinese Navy can deter United States and the Caribbean. That means the Chinese Navy can deter United States everywhere off the coast of California already. So people have to keep that in mind. Yeah, you've got to look at a map and yeah, like China. Yeah, China can't. It's, it's like if it was a battle over Taiwan, I think I'd bet on China. But like Taiwan, that's right there. Yeah. And Venezuela is like that for the States. Venezuela is right there. It's right there. They have everything. They have all their assets there. They have their entire Navy there. I don't know, maybe some of it's moving towards Iran now. But like, even more ships that were in Iran came to Venezuela before they kidnapped.
Ford, USS Ford and move USS Ford to the Caribbean. But now they're moving a aircraft carrier, a taggo from South China Sea to to to West Asia. So, so yeah, definitely they're planning something. Yeah, these, yeah. And that's the thing, like if, if they do attack Iran, I'm sure Karni and Trump will be on the same page. Yeah, for that. So, you know, where it counts, you know, these are, these are not, these are not the biggest disputes. Actually, whether Canada can be allowed to have these fancy cars or not. Yeah, because, I mean, that's because, you know, attacking Iran, that's, that's what is real. Right. Yeah. That's another level of importance. Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, anything else? What else have we, is there anything else we want to make sure we?
I mean, I think, I think we covered it. Yeah. But you, so you talked to somebody, you talked to Diego, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, um, anything from that that we should. So, we, something we did not talk about on our livestream, you know, we talked about afterwards that, you know, Diego is mentioning that, you know, the rumor that they're going to reopen US Embassy in Venezuela is probably true. It's probably going to happen. And also the, you know, recent, well, there has been a comfort meeting between those head of CIA and the new Venezuelan acting president. So, and then definitely two sides are, are talking, uh, you know, we, we just have to wait and see what kind of, uh, agreement will be hammered out. Whether it's a capitulation, whether it's a compromise, who knows, uh, yeah. Yeah. I haven't, I haven't given up hope that they could get Maduro back.
You know, if Mungwan Joe can, you know, you know, they had to take some Michaels. I don't think Venezuela is in a position to take any Michaels. But who knows? I don't know. Maybe they have some Michaels. Like, that's the thing. Like, we only know, um, what we know. Yeah. Because the Americans told us what happened on January 3rd. So, there could be American prisoners of war from that night. There could be American casualties from that night. And who's, wouldn't be in anybody's interest to be talking about that, right? When Venezuela wouldn't want to be bragging about that. Yeah. Right? Yeah. Not that this particular junction. No. No. That, but if they do have those kinds of cards, I, they would be playing them in this discussion. You know? Yeah. Because like, that was there were, there have been prisoner exchange.
I, I do think Mungwan Joe was the, was the, um, what do you call it, template? Like, uh, like several V.I. Venezuela and V.I.P.s were exchanged for American mercenaries who would try to, uh, invade. And oh, that's right. That's the last time. Found their little third last attempt. Yeah. So there is a Bay of piglets. Yeah. There's a way there, there must be a channel. You know, when, when they have each other's hostages, there's probably some established way of talking about it. Yeah. I don't know. I, I, that's what I, I told Diego. I mean, Diego said he didn't like that fact that they're going to reopen the U.S. Embassy. But I'm like, look, well, yes, it's bad that U.S. Embassy is definitely a vector for them to spread their influence and possibly do, do shady stuff in the country. But on the other hand, in, in case like this, you do want to maintain a clear, open and communication line.
Exactly. Absolutely. Dialectives. Dialectives. Yeah, that's right. That's right. That's right. That's the revolution. All right, Carl. Thank you so much, man. Yeah. Anytime.
