Walking among the fiery stones on the holy mountain of God. Created blameless.   Then five statements. Five I will declarations describing a structured five-step plan to seize autonomous sovereignty over the created order. And one inversion: you said I will ascend; you go down. Brought to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit.   Today we read the actual text. We build the profile. And we ask the question that drives the entire arc: how does a being that magnificent end up where he ended up?
