Whining

First I want to apologize if you tried to listen to this episode in the past 4 days because for some reason my outro got moved to the intro and then I was talking over myself.  It was a MESS!!! I'm so sorry and it has been fixed!  I'm a one woman show right now and I can only claim pregnancy brain at this point...;) 

WHINING!!  Whining is probably one of my number one pet peeves with my children.  I cannot stand listening to it!!  But they all do it. There is no avoiding this stage, and it's our job to teach them how to communicate in the right way and with joy.  God holds us to a high standard and commands us to choose joy in the midst of bad circumstances and tells us to rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS, so it's our job to hold our kids to that same standard that God holds us to.  We also want our children to be pleasant to be around and easy to please and content with what they have.  We can find all these Biblical principles in Philippians 4;4; Nehemiah 8:10; Philippians 4:11 just to name a few.  Throughout the Bible we are called to live above our circumstance and our emotions, so we have to teach our kids the same.  In this episode I talk about practical ways to help our kids stop whining in everyday life situations.  So tune in today and lets grow together.
