Where to Find God's Glory

Most of us have felt it—the ache that there has to be more to life than the daily routine. We look for it in adventure, romance, career, retreats, nostalgia, new experiences. We chase the mountaintop. In Mark 9, Peter, James, and John actually get one: Jesus transfigured before their eyes, his clothes brighter than anything on earth, Moses and Elijah standing beside him, the voice of the Father thundering from the cloud. Peter wants to stay there forever.
