Hello, Elise. It's so nice to have you on the show today. How are you doing? Good. Thanks for having me on today. It's a pleasure to be on. Yeah, and thank you so very much for being here. You see, I truly appreciate you. And you say, Elise, oftentimes, I love to thank my guests for two things. And I did it so often to the point where it has become my hand tip. So firstly, I want to say thank you so very much, Elise, for investing in yourself. You say, you are on this platform right now because you did invest in yourself. And oftentimes, Elise, I love to make reference to you the amazing mango tree. You say, some couple of moans back. I was on a particular road. And just by the road, sadly, there was these very tall, unattractive mango tree.

And I used to walk on a track to be cares. The mango trees got no mangoes on it. And the leaves, they were all dry, you know. So I just walked past it and I went my way. But you say, Elise, just recently, I was on that same road. And the stammer out. A lot changed by the mango tree. You say, the mango tree got my attention pretty good from a distance. And immediately I got the heart to move so close to it. Of which I did, and it wowed me. Because now the mango trees got a lot of mangoes on it. Beautiful green leaves and LC branches. And not just mangoes, now Elise, I'm talking about a variety of mangoes. It was such a lovely experience that day. And I was so, so excited.

Here is my point. The fact that you dedicated your time, energy and resources to becoming the amazing Elise that you are today, that loneliness made it impossible for me to skip you. And that's why you got the request from me to be on the show because I was attracted to the fruit of all that you're doing. Your philosophies, your insight, the impact your work is having. And now you are offering your solutions. Those stuffs are beautiful. And just before I sent you that request, I said to myself, I've got to benefit from these beautiful stirs. Elise is doing. So I've got to say, thank you. And not just only me now, and even with the audience. So I've got to say, thank you so very much for being on the show. Thanks for having me on. I'm going to have resonate with that mango analogy because I have, I know I just, before we got going, I talked about a son that lived in Africa for a year.

And I also had another son that lived in Ecuador for two years. And we, there was mangoes everywhere there. And we went and visited him. And while he was in Ecuador. And my kids would climb the trees and get the, the mangoes when they were just so ripe and they were so good. And so that, that fruit, what you talk about is so delicious. Very delicious. When it is, it takes time. But when it is ripe, it is so delicious. And that's how our lives are. We are growing that mango tree all the time. And the more we put into it, the more we tend it, then the fruit that comes from it is, it's just pulling it straight off of a tree is nothing better than being able to have that fresh mango that is very, very ripe. And so that is a great analogy that you came up with.

That's how our lives are. Mmm, I got that. So let's get right into it, at least. You see, I am quite excited to have you on a show today for some reasons. Firstly, my interest in knowledge is second. I believe in not a full one to transition from a terrible situation to that of a beautiful one, please. I believe it takes the application of knowledge, quality information, and not just knowledge alone, but the application of it. And you say ever since I discovered that light in the ebberman's knowledge and darkness ignorance, I've been so keen to knowledge second. Why? Because I do not want to remain in the dark. So that's going to make our conversation today very important to me and even to the laziness.

And second reason I'm excited to have the incredible ease in the show is for the sake of the audience. As he leaves living an age where information is as important as cranes are said. We've got lots of information flying out there. So this function shows me for quality, eye opening, and very important information of which I am totally convinced that our conversation is going to be insightful and impactful. So for that reason, let's get started with your introduction. Talk to us about your personal or your professional journey, because right now we are so curious. Want to know how Elise got eaten afterwards? I've gotten some beautiful questions for you. Okay, Elise, over to you. Okay, so I live in United States. I live in Utah. And I really believe that life is about learning and growing and experiencing.

But oftentimes it's in a ways that we never expected. And so one of the first things I feel that we have to do is to be able to surrender to whatever it is that we are called to do here. And I had, I had this, I grew when I, I have six kids. And as I was having these six kids, there was, I and my body ended up getting really sick. And it was hard to be able to take care of them. But I lived like in a natural lifestyle. I didn't have much medications with my kids and I even had all my babies at home. And we just really tried to live a holistic lifestyle. My husband is a chiropractor. But in the process, I started to get really sick. And it wasn't until we started to look at our bodies a little bit differently that I call it its functional health is where we look at the root cause.

And I started to implement these type of things. Then all of a sudden my body started to restore and it started to get healthier. And but at that moment, this is where I wanted to tell this story is that we are creators in our lives. And we are here to help and serve and bless others just like we're doing here on this podcast today. But if we don't show up in the best that we can within our health within our mental capacity within our emotional aspects of our lives. If we don't show up the best that we can then guess what we can't serve others the best that we can. And so that's where I look at our lives is that we are here to serve. But if we want to serve the best that we can, then we need to be at the best that we can. For fun words, for fun words. In other words, if you want to help others, you have to ensure that if walking yourself profoundly well so you can be good and great service to others.

Yes, that is true. You know, one of the things that I look at is I have a tree in my backyard. I know we were talking about mangoes, but let's just say I have this peach tree that's in my backyard. Okay. And this we loved this peach tree and beside it was a nectarine tree. And all summer we would have fruit coming on. Well, one day, well, one season, the nectarine tree ended up dying. So we went out and we searched for another nectarine tree. And we planted it and now it takes a little while for these trees to start to grow. And as this tree started to grow, you know, after the second year, we started to get just a little bit of fruit. But when it came up, all of a sudden, it was another peach tree. And here we had like two peach trees now. Well, we wanted a nectarine tree, right?

So then we had to take after we let it grow for another couple of years, but then we were like, we really want to get this nectarine tree. So we took out that tree and then we went out for another search for another nectarine tree. We put it in the ground and nurtured it, let it grow two years later, we find out that it's another peach tree. And this is what I think about with life is that we are like this nectarine tree is that, you know, sometimes things happen to us in our lives. And so then we plant something new and then we flourish it and maybe it's not exactly what we want. So then we have to take it out so then we can plant something new and then we have it grow. And it's maybe not, you know, it might be something that's good, but maybe it might not be something exactly that we want. And so this season, because we realized it's another peach tree, we're going to have to take it out and then put in another nectarine tree.

And hopefully this time it will be what we want. And so life is about learning so that we can unlearn things so that we can learn things again. And it's just a constant flow and that's how we grow that's how we grow in our lives, isn't it? Every little thing that we that we went through with trying to get this nectarine tree, you know, it's still produced some beautiful fruit. But that's okay if we take it out because it's something now we want to put in something different so that it can be what we want. Exactly. And I got there. So while you were talking in the beginning, you used to word holistic. So I wanted to ask, what does holistic success actually mean? Yeah, so I really believe that holistic success is kind of what we talked about where we come to all of us.

But if we're going to have this holistic success in our lives, we first have to believe. We first have to believe that we can have that. And so I want to kind of talk about an acronym of believe. And so like be for believe is be present. We have to be present in everything that we're doing and that is looking within ourselves. That is trying to figure out, you know, exactly what we want. And you know, oftentimes we get stressed, we have anxiety, but you know, stress is focusing things on the future. Anxiety is dealing, you know, with things in the past that we can't change. But if we just get in that moment of being present, then we can hear and feel the things that we're supposed to understand what our next step is. For E, the next letter in believe is educate yourself.

Often we go on a path and we don't realize that everything that we do, I call it building our empire. When we educate ourselves, we're building our empire. We are everything that we do no matter if it is beneficial for us at that moment or not. Later on, we will call upon that information, but we can't call upon that information unless we continue to educate ourselves in whatever we want to do. L for the third letter is listen. I believe that there are constantly given information to us if it's by somebody else, if it's by listening to a podcast like we're doing today, if it's by reading a book, there is constantly voices that are talking to us. And what are those voices are we going to listen to and sometimes those voices are good for us and sometimes those voices are aren't.

But if we are continuing to listen, then we can continually to progress. The next letter is you are important. We have to remember that we are important to have our bodies to heal. We are important to have success in our lives. We are important to have great relationships. We are important to be able to make a difference in this world. And often we lose ourselves in the process of our lives, but if we remember that we are important and that we have something to share in this world, to be able to contribute. The next word, the next one is envelop resources. There's resources all around you. And are you going to learn from them, grow from them? Are you going to partake from them like we talked about of the mango tree, get into those resources.

You know, my husband is a chiropractor and he helps a lot of patients. But he had these patients. He couldn't help. And he wasn't until he finally started to learn some more things. And he got in a group of different type of doctors. He started to read different types of literature. The doors opened that he was able to help more people. There's resources out there for you to learn. Look into that. The next thing is to validate your vision. And call it that we have to be spiritually connected to whatever we do. And if we look around us, we will see little drops of visions around us of everything that we are doing in our lives to say like this is the path that you are supposed to be on. So when you look, you might see a tree, you might see a flower, you might see a bird that flies by in all of us and you get this feeling within you that, okay, I'm on my right path.

And these are being little pebbles being placed in front of you all the time. And then the last one is enjoy your journey. There's a lot of things that come at us in our lives. And we think we have to do this. And if I don't do this, I'm not going to be successful. But if we don't enjoy the journey, then why are we even doing this? Why are we even here? So when you talk about, you know, what is holistic success? It's believing that we can do this. And it's coming at all aspects of our lives. We can become the leader that we need to become. Amazing. And thank you for that. So we have two more to go. So what are simple daily habits that support mind and body? I believe it is getting into a state of meditation.

I think that our answers are within us. They are here. But often the world tells us to shut that out. But we need to get in a state of meditation where we can listen to what our spirit is telling us. And I do this every single morning. I get to where I get the outside noises away. And I just sit there and I pray and I listen and I experience whatever it is. And if you want to be able to get to where you know what your next step is, if you get within yourself, you're going to know what are the people you're supposed to talk to? Who are they? Where is it you're supposed to go that day? What are something that you need to learn? And it all starts within us. You lost that within us. Got it. So what about this one? How do people lose the identity without even realizing it?

Yes, that is true. You know, in that process of doing whatever we want to do in our lives, we start focusing on other people and other people's successes. You know, I had this experience that I used to. I had a business where I crocheted and knitted hats, headbands and things where people. And I could look at an item and be like, this is exactly how I need to create this, this product. And I could do the pattern just in my head and it just seemed like everything flowed through, flowed right to me. How to create this? Well, I had a neighbor that created a product. And so I thought, oh, I'm just going to create that like look at it and create it myself. And so I started to do this and it, I could not figure it out. It was so hard for me.

And one of my friends came to me and said, you know, Liz, maybe it's because you're not supposed to create that. Here I have been creating all these amazing things, but I couldn't create that item that somebody else was called to create. What I think we do is we get in the mode of creating other things that other people are doing. And we need to get back to what is it that we're supposed to create. And so we need to make sure that we stay in our lane. And often we try to do the things that other people are supposed to do. But if we just stay in our lane and create the things that we are meant to, then it's like a flow. We're writing that way. We're doing the things that are going to make a difference to us and to other people. But as soon as we step out of that, it's like the creativity mode shuts down.

So if you feel like you're not in that creativity mode, maybe it's because you're following somebody else's path in life and not your own path. And stay right on your lane. I got that. I got that. And I'm going to take that as a final thought, please. So for folks who like to reach out to you, then we buy the wonderful stuff you're doing.
