About this episode
Do you share techniques with your team mates? Do you like to coach the lower ranks? A friend of the Podcast took the time to share with a lower belt but then was victim of the technique he shared and now got an injury as a result. Was it a bed idea to share?
JT & Joey take very different approaches to helping team mates when it comes to sharing techniques. Some people need help and guidance but others will work it out on their own and really it falls on you to decide who needs your help and who is just fine solo. There is a famous saying " 1 more for the road..." which can sometimes result in the end of the road. Helping others is a rewarding part of the Jiu-Jitsu journey but communicating how powerful or dangerous techniques can be is really important so beginners don't become brutes. Let us know if you have suffered at the hands of the technique you have shared.
