What is Networking and IP Address? | How Does It Work? | InfosecTrain
About this episode
Networking refers to the practice of connecting devices, such as computers, printers, and servers, to a common network infrastructure in order to facilitate communication and data exchange between them. Networking can be done using different types of technologies and protocols, such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and TCP/IP. An IP address, or Internet Protocol address, is a unique identifier assigned to every device connected to a network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication. IP addresses are used to identify devices on a network and to route data packets between them.
