At 877-5919696, what are some benefits to being older? Like maybe it's a discount on things, maybe you don't have to wait in line, or maybe it's something that we didn't even think of. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. Being older is that you could just say anything, and people just were like, not forgive you, but not care. I know, but yeah, yeah, yeah. They go, he's old.

Old and wacky, yeah. Yeah, if you're 95 and you're just sound public and you're like, take your clothes off, they're like, oh, at least old. He's just a coo-key old man. And the reason I bring this up is, so on Wednesday, I have a birthday, and it's a milestone birthday. You could say it. It's 40. You're turning 40 this Wednesday. This is 40. And so we had our Mogan Karla Morning Smoffy to meet up this weekend. We were at a bar in Rigglyville, and Eddie from Ravenswood gifted me a giant framed AARP card with my name on it. Now if you don't know what AARP is, it's the American Association for Retired Persons. Now I'm not even, I don't think halfway to retirement. No. Our generation can't retire till we're like 90 or something like that. Our generation is going to work until our last perfect. Right. But I do now have an AARP card, and when I saw that, I was like, oh, this is ironic, because I'm way too young. You know, AARP is for people 15 up. You're almost there. You technically only have to be 18 to join AARP, but the mission is to benefit people who

are 15 up. That's only 10 years away. Wow. Wow. You're a whole thing. So I was like, dang, but then AARP, apparently when I was looking into it, you can get discounts for things. Like what kind of things? You can get car rentals. You can get up to 30% off. You can get discounts on different restaurants and stuff, but I was like, wait a minute, there are also all those 55 enough discounts. Mind you, this is not an ad for AARP. We're just discovering this as we get older in life. And yeah, I remember when I worked at the movie theater, a lot of people would get senior discounts. Yeah. At the movies. Yeah. So regular adult ticket is like $17 or whatever. There's a bit like 13, 12. Yeah. Yeah. And then there's a lot of children pay for a lot of places and it's like, maybe there are some benefits to being older. And we want to know what those are. 877-5919696. Let's hear from the older folks. Or in this case, Gloria. Who's younger than both of us? Who's younger than both of us. But you have some insight on how some benefits for the older people and what is that?

And yeah, definitely. When I used to work at Walgreens back in the days, because I know a lot of work there, but I still remember that every first two days of the month, every Monday, so every first Monday, we would have to go out on the floor and put up senior discounts. So every first of the week of month, every senior, 55 and oh, actually, it was either 10 or 15% off. And I had to work that Tuesday in the morning. That's when all the seniors came in. And like, sometimes you can't even tell that they're senior because they look so young. Some of them I'm like, oh, I'm already like 55. I have five grandkids and I'm like, you don't even look a day old in your life. Yeah. You know, and that's the most interesting part about aging is it really is whatever genetic card, the universe, Delta. Yeah, that's so true. And it's also how you dress or how you act and how you take care of yourself.

I've always told myself like when I get older, older, I don't want to be one of those people who's just parked in front of the TV. No, you want to move. Yeah, I want to get out and do stuff. As long as you can, right? Yeah, exactly. You know, It's funny. Something funny is my parents are already starting to act for the senior discount because they're 52 already. Your parents are 52? Yes, and they don't look. It's too little. Oh, yeah. All right. And it's one of those discounts too that like you don't ask for an ID because that's a rooted hell. So if somebody says, can I get the senior discount? You just assume. Well, I think what works kind of the other way because I think you're like, now you look way too young for that. But can I see your ID? Yeah. But my mom did, she did that long before she was ever old enough to get senior citizen discount. She just asked for it. And then we just give it. She was like in her 40s and she would be like, do you have a senior citizen's discount and they'd be like, sure, they don't want to mess with that. You look so great for your age. Oh, thank you, pumpkin. I think I might start asking.

I'm 39. I do. I'm 40. Man, have a seat. Yeah. Can I have a senior citizen discount? Doesn't mean I necessarily qualify. I'm just asking you if I can have it. Why not? Thank you, Gloria, and have a great day. You too. 877-591-9696. What are some benefits to getting older? You may not know about. I mean, retirement is a benefit. That hell yeah, that is. You don't have to work. It's great. You can follow super wherever you want, like a baby. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. By the way, we're also going to get you on the phone for Can't Crush Carla coming up next. Why does it feel like nobody really gives us the inside scoop? And Fran and Chicago, some of the benefits of getting older that we might not know about. So I was given a gag gift and it was for my 40th birthday, which has not happened yet. It's coming. In two days. I'm still in my mid-30s today. You better live it up. I got an AARP card. A giant one. Now Fran, in Chicago, what do you think some of the benefits of getting older? Some of the benefits of getting older is getting discount set that's a spuntory. Oh, I didn't know that y'all got discounts. I guess a lot of seniors do smoke a little bit of that devil's lettuce. Oh, yeah, especially if you were like, if you were around in the 70s. Yeah, no, it is an added benefit for sure because their body for sure needs it. You're saying, you don't sound very old though. Do you mind if I ask? No, it's okay. I'm almost 54. You're almost 54 or 64? 54. You're just putting the chicken in.

You're saying hour. Whenever I think of senior citizens, I know that technically it starts at 55 or sometimes 50, but I always think like 80. Yeah. I think 65 because that's like retirement. Yeah. Man. I'm going to be a senior citizen. I have a two and a half year old child. Like 40s birthday was an amazing birthday. So I mean, it just gets better honestly. What did you do? I started. We had a big party. A huge party. Oh, good for you. Were you a life for when I was 40? You're 16 and 54. Yeah. Yeah, she was two or they were two. Yeah, that made me feel like I was 14. I was 14. I was 14. I was 14. I was 14. I was 14. I was 14. I was 14. I was 14. I was 14. I was 14. I was 14. I was 14. I was 14. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You were alive. Yeah. You still got kids. You're young. Stop talking. We get it. We our bone start to hurt. Stop. Kids keep you young, though. Like, Mogue, your child has automatically

regifted you 10 years. Yeah. Basically your 29? Yeah. Basically, yeah. I got two and a half year old and a baby on the way. So, I'm basically a kid myself. You're running after kids for a while. Yeah. It's your 56. Yeah. you get to have party a lot earlier in your life. And then later in life, you're like, oh, I'm cool. Yeah, no, I. There I've gone out and and it's I think it's also a wonderful thing when people have kids young because I know that then you get the kids out of the house and you're like still young and can rage. I was messy in my 20s and I got to just be messy and run around and make mistakes. And yeah, it was a good time for me. It looks fun. Yeah. There was no social media. So it was fantastic. That's true. That was the time to do it. Yeah. And if there was social media, yeah, it was different. I'd be in trouble. Yeah. Yeah. Well, thank you so much, Fran and have a great day. Thank you. You're all right. All right. So yeah, I can't cross Carla coming up next, chance to win a thousand dollars, whether

you're old or young. Yeah, and I'm not going easy on you if you're old. Sorry. All right. Everyone gets these. No discount here. All right. It's Logan Carla Mornings and Tamé Paula.
