West Virginia Mountaineers' NCAA Tournament Journey

The mountaineers are heavy favorites at home, where they've been nearly unbeatable, especially with a sold-out crowd cheering them on against the mid-American conference champs. While prepping for the game, I came across ESPN's celebrity bracket challenge picks for the tournament. A bunch of familiar ESPN faces and others weighed in on how far West Virginia might go. Most of them aren't giving the mountaineers much runway. At a 14-picks, nine have them losing in the round of 32 to Kentucky, while the rest see a sweet 16 exit against Texas. That's things a bit since West Virginia has turned into a defensive powerhouse under coach Mark Kellogg and few teams score easily on them.
