It is 13 away from midday and you are on sport nation mornings with Rick and Chappy and Thad Medicine. Is with us Thad Taylor how are you mate? Good morning Rick, how are you? Good to be joining you, massive weekend of sport and racing so yeah we're to lock but we're for racing aren't we? Yeah we've got the so Colombs trophy at Hastings and the Canary Belth Stakes at Rikidin Thad. Let's start in Brian Duttity Country Hawks Bay. Race 7 is the feature system of players the 245 favorite. Only race to once in resumes from women almost five months spell just in case returns from an even longer break hasn't raced since Champions day. Phase 420 Phil Jean was good for second last start in pace 250 and I215 for a place 620 for a win. Win stayed a valour steps back in grade perhaps a bit of Tiacos tax though for the favorite because it is a very tricky race.
Can I ask if any Colombs stakes do they have to have a four boy to each jocky as well when they go round as well? I don't know. It's been a race that's been around forever the Colombs trophy. I was named after great man but I don't know how the race came into fruition. I don't know if they ever used the four boy to we're back to the the what the standard whip for this one but champion you sort of sum up the problem here with a lot of these three role races horses resuming with a reputation. Also the performed as two at two is two years of age and returning and we're out for a day to run a race both the favorites as you quite rightfully point out first up into the system of plays it's one from one to the year. We've got to be a good player on that a great weekend last weekend at allosley with a few winners up there so they're getting right back on track as the track hard and up then you throw on a wet track which we have at works bay currently and the problem that comes even trickier. He's got a reputation system of plays right up in 2000 guineas market betting off that one start and one won obviously so there's a bit of a reputation around the horse yes they are backing him they're not flooding into back him so this market probably got a little bit of movement and we've already seen some
around filly gene she's into four dollars now she brings the car we are form out of to pull there in the churro family fillies race and she was very good that day I know there's a big tip around Cambridge in the like Sam Logan trains $650 into four dollars that's been the movement there and yes then you've got these other all lines coming into this race and how they all stack up in the likes of Texas Cowboys are left up winner a strong maiden race at the rap a samurai sword was very good even though it says fifth at a spivin in the form line are the run was very good behind for Chinato and that's been a relatively strong form race already going forward a shambot jacks horse with a bit of a reputation and it magnates the first data for the dangerous Andrew Campbell stable and they've put some money on already around the same age so tricky affair at all is is with these three over the storm here filly gene has been the move is got good form behind the filly that's they rate highly now and how we're so $650 to four dollars but yeah back the one you like is they say race hate is a really
good form race though navigator has to carry 62 kilos but is still 450 has placed in telegraphs after no ancestors also there and apparently look good at the trials does have 58 though checkmate returns for the first time since February Romanoff's also back from a six months belt on his trial money's come for war princess tens and 750 is there one year leaning towards her mate because there's a lot of factors when you look at rest the class the weight in this one. Yeah exactly you've got these three year olds returning as four year olds the likes of Romanoff 2000 Guinness want to tell him who is very good and who is the last preparation and war princess and she's a super speedy her form line is better than it looks for those couple of zero who run on the key we was unlucky and her undercracker million for fourth prior was very good and she sets out well to refresh upper side with the 53 to run them along there's a fair bit of speed in the race after no ancestors the top quality mayor she won a cuddle stakes before placing in a thoroughbred breeders after that by she's a dealer
she's a local runner for trainer John Barry and there is plenty of money suggest you run a race first up after the next year so you've got to respect that money around war princess. Calum is a losing result at 13 dollars so that's the tucking in there then you got these horses having their first up run they've got to start somewhere the likes of a navigator there was 62 kilograms you'll be in some of our biggest prints over the summer period I thought check mates in for a big preparation of what I saw at the trials behind drops of God pulling the sockets out of the shoulders there of the jockey is across the line check mates so I think check mates in for a big preparation is it tomorrow maybe not with baby bigger fish to fry down the line I thought after no ancestors to be awfully hard to beat personally first up on our home track about war princess she can run them along and if she finds that right form she might be hard to beg back at record in the canterbury bell stakes is the feature sweetest things a dollar ninety five that was last March though after that month or two size produced their last race there
outback girls the second favorite at six fifty and one here last start down to bull is nine fifty finished third in that race platinum a dance if they didn't think there was a winning chance they wouldn't have barely been sent down by the ladder crew but paying fifteens this is a tricky one outside of the dollar ninety five favorite fed yeah and that's what makes a tricky again we've sort of got a similar setup to the to call on me trophy and the fact that we've got a relatively short priced to arc our favorite resuming from a relatively long spell in terms of CVs sweetest things certainly deserves to be a clear favorite in the race I mean she was very good running was a second and a size produce behind C's the day and the lead up forms been very good so arguably you could put a case for that might be the best maiden in the country a sweetest thing so it's a dollar ninety five or a dollar ninety out to two oh five again she'll have a thousand guinea's in mind down the track she's ten dollars to win that so again a little bit like the last
favorite that backing up but not will super confident so maybe the run of it improve or what does that mean it means is potential for movement outside of that and we have seen some around outback girl already she's seven fifty and five fifty and who won over the thousand meters I was devastating last time Steven Hunt she was back up on the clock and the ratings around outback girl no fluke the one even though she paid a big price at that twenty two dollars so outback girl she's up and running she's had that run back but a residual fitness and she could be improved again the money certainly there around outback girl then glamour extreme a chased home outback girl last time out twelve into seven I see that moves just happened in the last half an hour or so there was money for it last time when it raced outback girl so don't leave glamour extreme out and again out of that same race there's been a move at odds right down the bottom there for the Keeta who was unlucky he had got no run on the straight it was a one day boo that day finnis seven forty one into twenty three so a bit of a big price around the fourteen
the Keeta maybe need to be included in the same race multis con all those exact as trifecta but outback girl if she can replicate what she did last time to the races she might just run away and hide got about ten seconds brother what she best of the weekend I went Marron Nello race five I think some Natasha I don't think seven was each way but put after the next the top three into a multi-time that Stephen Hanson bit of the day nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company they're one of America's largest financial services companies just like I'm so much more than quarterback Peyton Manning I'm also Peyton Manning insurance and financial services together it's a masterpiece Peyton Manning does it again for your insurance and financial needs nationwide is on your side nation wide investment services corporation and refinery Columbus Ohio every game day you show up for your team now it's your time we go we go ask your prescriber about we govi some magla tied injection two point four milligrams a GLP one
