This is your official Air Force Academy history update for the weekend of April 4th and 5th. On this day, back in 1992, the Academy Boxing Team captures the 1992 National Collegiate Boxing Association title at the Field House. It was the team's 10th National Championship in the past 13 years. Also this weekend, back in 2010, James Dutton Jr., class of 91 makes his only trip to space as the Space Shuttle Orbiter Discovery launches from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida. He served as pilot of Mission STS-131, a resupply mission to the International Space Station.
