It's been a busy week on the racing and sports front to be fair, but looking forward to an even busy weekend. Well, it's going to be busy. I mean, you got what? 21, 21 races tonight and then of course Sunday as well. And the Broncos in the finals. Yeah, really busy weekend. Oh, okay. Oh, we've got a comedian. We've got a comedian on the crew. This morning.

1:00I just want to say that there wasn't me for a change. No, I heard exactly who it was. And I'll keep that one in the back pocket and I'll bring it out when the time suits. All right. We'll see you in 10 years time. Let's start in your Nicaragua, mate. The Sires Stakes, which is race nine. The bookies have locked it kept in Tyra on the looked at Franco and Cara. They've locked it each other. They've shrugged shoulders and go on can't separate them both are at 2 15 kept in Tyra and his by far the best mile time. The bookies can't split them. Can you? I'm pretty keen on Captain Tyra on tonight. All be it. It's always a little tricky these small fields because sometimes strange things happen when there's only small numbers and what you think may transpire can get thrown up in the air. There's a scratching here which leaves us with just six runners. They're racing for good prize money tonight as well. $50,000. But I think Captain Tyra on's first effort was super. His first campaign was excellent to be fair

2:00that he was given a good amount of time to grow up and mature. His trials were solid. He went to the races and in a bit of an impossible position last time out from a wide draw he got back. But I don't think he could have done any more than what he did fresh up. Second up should be peaking. No doubt this has been the target race and he has very good gate speed. So between he and Franco and Cara, the fact that he has that little gate advantage and the early speed, I think it can be enough to see him press forward and probably take control of this contest. Franco and Cara is flying though and probably should have one last to week was involved early, copped a shuffle and then absolutely flew late. So if he's with the striking distance on the corner he'll be a real danger. To be honest, there's probably not one horse in this race that you can put a line through. Giorgio Denario was good fresh and you could just see there was going to be asymmetric return has done nothing wrong. So suspicious captains one, two of his last three and some of C's is probably sort of in that top group of three-year-old fillings on what she's capable of.

3:02So ripping race, but captain Tyron on top for me. Race eights the Meers spring sprint. Arafura is the favorite at two six and his fresh up one. Lights also fresh up at fours and has had a bit of money come beside Mees. Had the runners wedge between them in the market at three-ten. How might Michael Gere and Todd on Arafura? A-J-B-G because it seems like a bit of a three-horse race. Yeah, this race is only in, must have been the last couple of minutes, been pretty well flipped on its head because I've just opened up the fields and wine light is scratched. So that certainly changes the dynamic. She probably looked to get the charm run of the race and she also had the gate to be to sort of dictate the map. So to speak, so I think with her omission, it really changes this race. I was keen on beside Mees, pre that scratching and I'm even keen on her now to be fair. She's had two runs and she's a Mayor who hasn't had a lot of consistent racing in the last 12 months. And I think the fact that she's had those two runs under the belt,

4:02she won fresh up a month between a real sprint home last time out. Carter jumps back on tonight and they've got a sort of a great relationship and she's a go-forward top. I think we've seen it time and time again over the last couple of weeks with these high quality horses early on in their campaign. Sometimes fitness will most of the time to be fair. Fitness has been the difference and I think the fact that beside Mees has fitness on her side and can sort of rough and tumble and go forward. I think the advantage certainly lies with her. I respect the market support for our Führer and of course she was the top three-year-old Fili last year. She won both oaks. Her trials have been excellent but she's never been an absolute gate flyer in Sangnam in the small field. She won't be far from them. So they look at clear top two. Amarita Franco is speaking of fitness. She's rock hard fit. Nothing but use in the same boat. But I'm thinking class will rise and maybe beside Mees can get one over at Führer. If we go to Alex Park then race eight. Ride the waves is building a big reputation

5:02and is 245. Fly high, got the draw on her but her money has come as well. Queen Lizzie could be a place chance and returns to Walklands. They continue to be a lot of love for Ride the waves. BG she seems an absolute belter of Affiliate early in her unbeaten career. Yeah she's pretty exciting and I know the Stonewall operation have a massive opinion of her and they've really wrapped her in cotton wool to this point. She wasn't involved in the two-year-old contest. They've sort of picked their targets at three. They could have had her up and going for the oaks earlier this year but they've played the patient game and it's certainly paying dividends as well. I sort of tossed and turned with this race because it's a $30,000 contest. So you know the money's up but we are still a little way out from that neverly our final which is staged on Cup Day. So I'm very aware that these fillies still have a pretty decent long campaign to come and then the oaks off the back of that down here in the south. Fly high and ride the waves have met on four occasions. Ride the waves has one on three occasions

6:04and fly high was able to get one over her in that sort of battle. Last time out fly high had atrial fibrillation so genuine excuses for her poor performance. It's remarkable the record horses have a bouncing out of that little issue. So with her barrier draw 1700 meters I thought her trials have been really good. I am leaning in her direction but I'm very wary of ride the waves because I know her talent. Maybe she is the most talented filly in this group and a pretty deep group it must be said but just thought tonight if fly high is going to get a win over her again it's probably up in these conditions. Race one this is an interesting one. We've got an enormous $40 favor in Duke of Bourbon and what is a four horse race but I know you're a massive fan of Tactico who's on Day Boot. Talk us through that. You have really lovely group of trotters there so only the four of them but there's still plenty to come. We've got a good two-year-old trotting race in the south as well so I love seeing trotting numbers sort of in those juvenile ranks growing.

7:07So Duke of Bourbon had that early season campaign where he was excellent. He was beaten last time out in the Eastern Light Classic at group one level but there was always the ability was obvious. The speed was incredible but he just wasn't the furnished product yet hearing that he's made all of the necessary improvements physical and hopefully mental as well because he was certainly one who was just a little quirky last time in nothing silly but probably wasn't helping himself with just being a little steady early. So a great deal of respect for him but Tactico has just taken my eye at the trials. Every time he's stepped out I've just thought wow you're a really exciting young trotter. His gate is unbelievable. It's merely like he takes one stride to everyone else's too. He just covers so much ground. He's giving away experience but there's just something about him and I want to stick with him and I guess $1.40 around Duke of Bourbon isn't too enticing.

8:07So Tactico for me tonight probably more of a spec bet than anything else but I decided I was going to sort of follow him wherever he bobbed up next. He's bobbed up in a pretty deep race but I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do. We've also got to Wamaru on Sunday the group three Henan headline's that. So what do you like? Yeah I'm looking forward to heading to Omaru on Sunday for it. Being a part of the Sunday session for what is sort of their big day of the year, the Henan Memorial is always a super contest in this year. It's very intriguing once more. These couples are starting to roll out and it's tough was I think sort of the find of the summer and autumn for the diamond racing that stable last time out. He took home the $100,000 hydrofluid country championships final on those occasions he was chasing off Big Mart. So we meet some unequal terms on Sunday. He draws out and out of trouble in that eight position. He's trotted up really well. I was at Rungur last Wednesday and he just looked explosive.

9:09So he looks very hard to toss but again race fitness is on the side of a few others. Borosokane has been great. He's stirred up from a long break. Better's and for speaking of atrial fibrillation. He had that last time out but he looks to have bounced back at the trial. Franco Sinatra is second up. Dreams are freeze race right over winter. So really interesting race. I could sort of comment on each and every run of it. It's tough on what he did last preparation is clearly the horse to beat. There's also the Jasmine's gift for the trotting mares. That's a tough race. I'm just think I'm going to watch that one. Those off handicaps are obviously the class runners but they have to negotiate a full field of 15. And then we've got the juvenile stakes with two or party looking to bounce back after his unbeaten run came to an end last week but he looks as though he can certainly get back on track. There I think he's a $1.04 so 10 races on Sunday. Really really good racing from start to finish. So I think it's going to be a ripping meeting. You've got a full dance card.

10:10That's where you can make what's your best? Well it was Captain Tyron during the box seat on Tuesday but he's pretty short now at 195. I think a good double tonight is Captain Tyron into trump card in the last. He's just beautifully graded in that contest. He has nine rating points on every other runner and he's in super form. So Captain Tyron into trump card hopefully that is able to deliver us the dividend. And if you just want to take one or the other, well take your pick. Yeah beautiful. We'll do.
