I went on Matley for a little bit and now I'm back part time. You are the skin care guru here. Honestly, Kelly loves makeup. I love a bit of everything. You go so deep in skin, you know everything.

2:02You have glorious skin. I love all everything to do with skincare. And I love talking to all the experts. And so you're going to help me answer a question about a kind of tricky, kind of great skin care ingredient. We're going to help the UBs find fabulous, super affordable foundations. I cannot wait for that one. We'll tell everyone about great products. But first, we're putting you to work. So what is happening in Beauty News? So I don't know if it's just me, if my algorithm is just full of this. But I think more and more we're seeing influencers breaking down the cosmetic surgeries online and sharing kind of, I guess, everything from all the gory details. I think a little bit of it is part of the kind of celebrity culture that's happening with, you know, Chris Jenner, you've got Denise Richard. But they've all been very, very open to getting surgery. And I feel like it's kind of brought it into mainstream media a little bit.

3:03So it's no longer like that kind of like hush, hush procedure for people like over the age of 60 or 70 or whatever. I think they're just a big wave of 30-something year olds that are now opting for this like surgical, you know, refreshes. We've seen Ruby Tuesday Matthews. Have you heard of her? She's cool. She's an influencer. She's 33 and she recently underwent a facelift. I think it was the last week she went to Korea and had something called an endoscopic facelift, which is like a keyhole surgery facelift. And I know that sounds pretty wild, but she still had very, very, you know, crazy downtime, lots and lots of swelling. But she posted everything online about her recovery process. She even said her face was so swollen that she went, she couldn't even get into her iPhone and she had to go into the Apple Store and get her phone unlocked. If she's documenting the whole process, did she say it this, did she say it this start

4:04why she felt compelled? You know, women can do what they want, ages, even why at 30 and I think she's beautiful, but it doesn't matter what I think. Same. Yeah. Whatever facelift. I think, well, she did say that she didn't want to look like a completely different person that she just wanted to be, I think, five years younger than she currently is. So she didn't want a different face. She just wanted her features to be tweaked. She got like heaps of backlash from followers being like, you shouldn't be making this, like normalizing this and everything like that. But then she was kind of like, would you prefer me to not tell anyone and come back and look like 10 years younger? And no one knows what happened. That's the thing that she's saying. I'm not going to look at that different. I just want to look fresher. But then she's taking everyone along for the ride. And I feel like maybe she is so that like she's damned if she does, she's damned if she doesn't. And I don't know how I feel about that. Like I'm shocked that she got that. I mean, do it. Do I don't know. I think there's just been a lot of stories recently. I mean, I know that I've interviewed, you know, a handful of people already this year

5:06who are in that 30 to 40 age bracket and they've already had facelifts. What? And a lot of them are abroad as well. Another interesting one is it's not just facelifts. I think it's like whole body modifications happening with different influences online. Kelly and I spoke about the people that went overseas to get ribs dissolved or a host or something. Reb remodeling. Yeah. So that's the thing. I think it's important to note that a facelift isn't what we think it is like 20 years ago. It literally was like pulling animal lector face off and you looked so stretched. However, it still shocks me for some reason because it's just so extreme. And did she already do the other measures before and did that not make her happy? And you want to be like, you know, you do you everyone should do what they want with their bodies. But I think it's just this weird line with the space that we're in currently that's like it's so good that people are being so upfront about what they've had done and they're not lying and being like, I've just drank lots of water and been to yoga and that's why I look like this. And you're on my way on the flip side.

6:07It's like a normalization of, you know, I'm in my 30s and I'm like, shit. Should I get a facelift? Yeah. Well, no, you shouldn't. I'm kind of seeing the opposite. I feel like what I'm seeing, but maybe this is my age 44 people are going back to individuality to like embracing, let's not even call them imperfections, but just you like whatever. I want to feel good. Like it's nice to look good, but maybe that's because I'm old. You're not old. You know what I mean? I know. Like it's definitely happened to me is that I care less. Also because my eyes start going. You know, I still care, but I just am like, I'm not going to go to my nails. I'll just do my hair at home. We'll talk about that later. But yeah, I've definitely noticed the opposite. So that's nice. Well, that's nice. It's good that it's not like a whole blanket of everyone now being like, guess we're all going to get a facelift. For me, I'm like you do you. However, what you said before is there's young women, there's teenagers following her whether they should or not, you know, under 16 shouldn't, but you know, even 21 year olds, just the normalization is.

7:11It's scary. I think it is a scary time. I guess what do you think about it? I'm not saying it's okay, but you know, when I was in my late 20s as a beauty editor, I was offered free anti-wrinkle injections and I was like, okay, sure. And a lot of my friends at art and industry were paying to already have preventative injections. So I don't know if this is kind of like is this the next wave of that and it won't seem as extreme in another 10 years? I have weird feelings. Yeah, I have weird feelings too. Can you tell me something fun instead? What else have you got? Let's go to something a little bit lighter now because there is a very nostalgic hair accessory back and I'm actually quite excited by this. Oh, oh God, this is a good one though. Is it those little butterfly things and you do the exact? It's not, but oh, they were good. They were good time. They hurt your head though. Our friend Tamara Holland, who is the contributing fashion editor, Mama Mia. Very stylish and very on the pulse with Trin. Very stylish gal. She wrote about this trend on Mama Mia. She spotted how fashion brand Miu Miu.

8:13I'm not a fashion girl, so you probably know this. Miu Miu sent models down the runway recently and they had those structured zigzag headbands. Do you remember them? Yes, the ones David Beckham water-hold his hair back when he had long hair. Yes. Yes. Very bandit like Beckham. But since then, a whole heap of celebrities have been wearing them. Haley Bebar posted some selfies on Instagram. I am so cool once a fortnight when I do my full routine because... I do especially when my hair was short. Yes, because the fabric ones are annoying. They get rhodin and just go back and you can undo it. Oh, I'm so cool. But why are all of the hair... It's easier all of the hair. Well, all the it-girls are wearing it apparently. So Kendall Jenner, then wore it to her sister's birthday. Is there a brand Miu and what is the price? Can I just go to price? Well, the price of the Miu Miu one is like $750. But of course, I think it's leather. I don't quite swanky. Yeah. No one's gonna pay that for a zigzag. But you can get them from more worst-flex for $4. You so can. Yeah. I do have some news. However, you know about it more than me.

9:15UBD has a legit viral article at the moment. It is going around the world in dams and people's inboxes. We love when that happens. We love it. So Theresa McNamara, who is a UB, a fantastic self-taught makeup artist, I think. And just wonderful humans. She wrote an article for us about her new favourite foundation. She said it is the foundation of 2026. And there's still four months left. I'm not very good at this. There's still a few months left. It is $12 or $13. Yes. It looked phenomenal. She gave everyone a blow-by-blow. And my dams, hey, have you tried it? Hey, what do you think? Which shade are you? And I was like, wow, hang on. I've been online. I've ordered from Big W. Oh, you bought it. I've got it. Not yet. Oh, no. It's on the way, but in the meantime, we've got so many questions about it and about other products. So this is where we hopefully bring some very helpful answers for the UBS. So we picked two questions and the UBS can send their questions via Instagram DM or the UBS where there's 87.7 thousand people there. So let's start with the question that we actually got like millions of versions of. So Erin, besides being a beauty and skincare and cyclopedia and interviewing and writing and doing all the things, part of your job as an editor is to find other people that are great at beauty to contribute and write stories. And so you do that and you've found Teresa, right? Yeah, we don't want my silly old face trying everything. I think it's so good to have such a, you know, range of different faces, different

11:17phanopiniens, different skin types. So that's how we got, um, peed up with Teresa and she wrote this amazing article for us recently. And as you said, it went off. Like literally viral, everyone says viral, but this was viral. It was viral. You guys were promised. And yeah, and then we got so many questions off the back of it, right? So tell us what was the product that she was reviewing? So the product that she talked about was the B Y S Airbrush Liquid Foundation. It's from big W. I know because mine's on the way because yours is on the way. It's $12. So it's quite affordable, quite affordable. Quite affordable guys. That's outrageous. $2 here. Thank you. Well, they used to be there. I did. But she had some very good things to say about it. Just to clear it up for the UBS because obviously I know, but I do get some questions saying, you know, sure, I mean, that's rave reviews because it's sponsored, but that's not how it works, right? No. So this is a completely organic review from Teresa. If it is sponsored, you'll be able to see it is right up at the top of the page, but

12:17yeah, but generally organic content. Yeah, generally, it's just people coming to us or us going to them and just telling us what they love and why and how to use it and why it's good. Okay. So then we were flooded with questions and we got this question. So it said, hi, chicks. Love you all. I read Teresa's article about the 12th of the foundation and ordering immediately. So did I. And it was wondering if you could suggest some other options under $20 or is that impossible in this cost of living crisis? Satji. Sometimes it does feel impossible. I'm going to be honest. I was like to the producers, ah, easy. No problem. Leave it with me. And then I was gathering my affordable brands that I love at home, put them through the Google machine. Oh, $32. Oh, $28. Well, where's everything? I've seen a price of grapes. The good thing is though, I think with places like chemist warehouse, you get so many great affordable products. Someone's always on sale as well. I feel like chemist warehouse and price I kind of have that, you know, healthy, right, for me. And then you go online and there's so many websites. I wanted to do as by the book as I could, but it was very hard.

13:20So some of mine like 22. So if you've got like $2 left over from some of yours, going to have it. Yeah, exactly. Some $2. The first one that you've brought, I don't have anymore. I've run out and I'm devastated. I need to reorder. We both talked about it though, right? It is the best foundation on a $20 in the world. We both love it. It is. Ha! This guy, the ordinary serum foundation, $12. It's like $12.10 as well. Yeah. It's super affordable and it is so good. This is my everyday foundation. I wear this so much feel. It's like quite lightweight because I don't know what. So the ordinary launched this a long time ago. Discontended it for a few years. For a couple of years and then they relaunched, I think it was maybe two years ago. They relaunched it. Yeah. Ever since then, I, that's been just one of my staple foundations. It's so nice and lightweight. It's like a sheer kind of finish. But this product you can only get on their website. And there are a lot of shades, which we love. For $12, it's worth kind of risking your shade or getting two shades.

14:20Definitely. I love it. So this is called a serum foundation, which sounds a little bit confusing. But as with everything, the ordinary, you know that the formulation has got really good skin-loving ingredients. But it's more to do with the texture. It's literally like water. It's runny. You've got to what like me. It's almost like a toner. It's almost like a toner. It's almost like a toner right now. It's not a good toner. You are. Why are you wearing all white and wearing a foundation? I've also got a toddler. Well, that's why you're wearing it to work. But yes, I think this serum speaks more to the texture. It's literally so watery, decent pigment, but she had a medium-but-builder. Yeah. Would you say? It's really buildable though. If you do not more coverage. It's not she like a baby or a tinted moisturizer. But it feels like literally nothing. That might be my shade. Oh, I'll take that for you and I'll get you a new one. Okay, well, as I mentioned, I found this harder than I thought it would be. And I think a lot of the foundations I have at home, we're under 20. But I want the UBS to know to be reassured that I don't know if you feel this in my way, but I try and I'm disappointed by far more expensive foundations

15:25than I'm wowed by affordable foundations. Yes. Does that make sense? Nothing hurts more. No, and it's $80. It's $120. You should be amazing. I'm really disappointed. Wow, me. I think that's some of the prices for foundations in the moment are outrageous. And oftentimes, you know, it doesn't, the price doesn't reflect the quality or the performance. And so I, you know, most of my products at home, even though they don't fall into $20 are from pharmacy or supermarket, you know, affordable brands. Let's start with, I wonder if you have tried this one, my friend, because you're where a money limine a silk don't you when you're being fancy? Yes, I love our money. I'm wearing it today. This is K-Muts Best Seller. It's the O-XX Silk Finish Limine Foundation $12. Rave reviews on the website. Oh my gosh, the packaging is identical. How have I never tried this before? You are, Matleaf. No, it's been around for quite a long time. And it's very popular. Oh, yes. It's a little bit thicker than the Georgia Armani one, but it has such a nice kind of finish to it, doesn't it?

16:25It's very glowy. I think with the Georgia Armani one, I always worry that it's a little bit too matte for my skin, but that does feel like a little bit. Georgia doesn't blow my hair back. Really? I'm with the Prima maybe, but you know, that's a more non-stick. Do you remember I used to be really obsessed with the Rimmel Cainden Free? Yes. And I think I wrote about it like 20 million times. It was a little blue packaging. It's still around now. Well, I went to go get it, and it's no longer stocked in the chemist. I don't know if it's just the specific chemist I went to, but this looks like the relaunched formula. So the one I've got is the Rimmel Cainden Free Glow It Up Foundation. It is 1399. Full price. Full price. I love that I'm shocked, but I've tried the blurring version. What version's that? Yes, so this is the Glow It Up version. I need all the glow and all of the hydration I can get. You and Kela both dry, because you're sisters. I'm combo. I liked the glow, but the blur one was so perfect for me. Oh, really? I mean, I think there's a few different versions of it,

17:28but this is the rebranded version of my favorite Rimmel Cainden Free Skin Tint. Can I play again? It's been a little while. It's a lovely everyday formula, so it's one of those ones that you can just whack on with this. Do you think that they discontinued the original kind of ring? I think they have. I can't see it anywhere. I really like this one because it feels so lightweight, but the pigment is actually very generous. Yeah, yeah, it's a really good one. But easy to work in. It feels like heavily pigmented, but it doesn't look like you're wearing a lot of foundation. Yeah, it doesn't look creepy. I like how it doesn't cling as well to dry patches and everything like that. Like it just looks like, well, it is the your skin, skin but better kind of look. And yeah, that's a goody. What else have you got? Oh, look, I could be here all day, and I could bend the rules, because there's a lot that are just a little bit over. But let me tell you another one that is actually under $20. It's called Full Flourless Cover Hyloronic Acid, nourishing and hydrating natural beige. That's the shade I got. I haven't tried this yet because it literally was being put on the shelf

18:28when I went to the shops. Oh, I mean, scooped it up. How have I never tried BYU? We haven't. No, well, you bet. Have you got an order on the way? I've got this. It feels nice for me, maybe a bit too full coverage. And I'm full coverage. It's quite full coverage. I must say I'm a little bit disappointed in the shade range. I think there's four or five shades, which is unusual in 2026. So we realize that that excludes a lot of people from trying them. That's disappointing. I remember Teresa actually pointed that out in her article, didn't she? Yeah. So it's ticking a lot of boxes, affordable, accessible, available everywhere. But I feel like that's really bringing it down. It's such shame. I feel like it's really unusual as well for 2026. I mean, look at Fendi Beauty. Yeah. And like here is 11,000 shades. Yeah, who would have been like here is four. And how so even the ordinary has I think 36. Yeah. Okay, I do have one more. I'm cheating a little bit. It's $22, but it is all over the internet and everyone loves it. I'll lend you two bucks for this one. Thank you. I haven't actually tried it. So let's have a play. Our first reaction is Shea Glam, a skinned-finite,

19:29hydrating foundation. Ooh, Shea Glam. Yes, so you can get it. It came out now before that it was on all the K Beauty and JBD websites. I know Shea Glam, okay. I love Shea Glam for their lip and their shadows. I haven't tried a base before. I think this might be too pale. Ooh, this is quite hydrating. Feels a little bit zinky for me. It kind of reminds me of your Cosmetics CC. Not in a bad way, but it's quite thick. It's got a little bit of a different texture. I actually like it. I don't know. I feel like my skin would like this. Great. Well, look, it's too light for me and probably too hydrating. So that's for you. You know who did have a lot of recommendations. The U Beauty Facebook group. We put a question in there and they had such a brilliant list of different foundations. It's crazy that 87,000 people know what's up. Let me have a read. I haven't actually read this yet. So, honestly, we can't just mention one person's name because there were so many responses, but the UBs overwhelmingly love the ordinary serum foundation 12 to 70. It is honestly so popular that our opinion is backed up. So if you haven't tried it, maybe give it a go.

20:30We love that one. Another UB said she randomly ordered the M.C. Beauty Miracle Fluller Skin Foundation in her Woolies order the other week. It's $35 full price, but she said she keeps finding herself using that over her high-end expensive foundation. I love that you just added it to Cart. She's never used it. She said, go for it. Go, go. Do you, Queen? Yeah. Han purchased the Rimmel lasting finish on sale for $15,99 at Chemist Warehouse. She says she'll happily pay good money for a foundation, but she just keeps reaching for this one too. Ooh, I love that. Finally, Rebecca has a hack for our dry skin ladies, which is Moe. She mixes the designer brand's DB Luminous Foundation with a touch of the Rimmel lasting finish. Oh, that's so clever. She said that keeps her skin really hydrated and glowy and Rimmel helps it all stay put. I'm going to try that. I forgot the DB Luminous. I love that one too. I mean, it might have cheered over $20, but honestly, they're all great. The UBs know what's up. They know what's going on. Yeah. I still have more in my list and in my little bag.

21:31How much do we do? We need to move on. So I'm going to include my list of the best foundations under $20 in the UBD newsletter next week. So there's a link in the show notes to sign up so you can make sure you get that. Now, we've got a question I selected because you're here because you're the skin care guru. No pressure. It says, in the past month or so, I've seen three or four people using a Zellic Acid on TikTok, so I googled it. And it's fackney, but only one of the ladies had pimples. Do I need it? What does a Zellic Acid do? Can I use it instead of my offer H Liquid Gold? Thank you. I love this question. I love it to you, my friends. I've actually seen a lot of Zellic Acid doing the rounds. I don't know why. I feel like a couple of people have been using it on TikTok and then it kind of just blew up as one of those, I don't know, trending ingredients. But it is one of the most underrated multitasking ingredients in my opinion, even though it is heavily targeted and marketed for acne, you can definitely use it if you don't have active breakouts. So what does it do? So there's four main concerns that it can target.

22:34It can help with fading dark spots and hyperpigmentation. It reduces redness and can also help a little bit with rosacea, smoothing skin texture, and fighting the acne causing bacterial. I mean, I know about it. How a house. Yeah, I know about it. It's not any huge amount of products. And it's funny because when you rattle off all those concerns, it can target. It does sound very similar to the all-rounders that are vitamin A, the gold standard. You know, you've written noise, you've written all. And also nice in a mind, which can do a little bit of everything. But it's a little bit different. They can kind of all kind of help a little bit with their stronger in other areas. This is how I would put it. Nice in a mind, having a party, they're having a great time kind of just seeing everybody. And as Alica said, comes in, does a huge dance and then runs away. It's kind of like more targeted, more intense, but fun. As in, it's not bad and scary, because it's not an acid in that it will exfoliate, right? And yeah, and you can also get so many different strengths. And you've obviously got the prescription version. And you've got the over-the-counter version as well.

23:36I can see why she's confused, because although he comes in and does a crazy dance, he's still really friendly. He's not going to cause any dramas. An acid in the name makes people think exfoliate, right? Right. But there's obviously so many different strengths as well. And again, like, hyaluronic acid is an acid, but it's not something that's going to burn your face off. Yeah. So if it's got acid in the name, it's not necessarily an exfoliant. It's not necessarily an exfoliant, and it won't necessarily strip your skin or, you know, do lots of bad stuff and cordial skin to kind of your barrier to freak out. She did mention swapping with alpha-hage. And obviously, as you said, those two ingredients, the ingredient in alpha-hage and as Alicacid are two very different ingredients and they do different jobs. So it depends on what your skin really needs. So if she wanted to up her glow and exfoliate, alpha-hage is a good choice. But if she wants targeted treatments for, she said she didn't deal with breakouts or anything. I'm assuming she's not dealing with breakouts

24:36because she's surprised when she Googled it that it's used for acne, but the people using on social media didn't have acne. So I think she's like, oh, well, I don't have acne, but they look good. Yeah. So I guess if she's got any of the targeted issues like, you know, fading hyperpigmentation, it is like an all-rounder though as well in that sense. So being a good all-rounder, it can sort into, I guess, most routines. But is there anything we need to watch out for when we use it? I would just make sure you're not layering different acids on top of it or using too many things with it. So if you're going to use it, just use it for that one specific night as that one specific serum that you're applying to your skin. And then you can, you know, layer with moisturiser. And then maybe the next night you could use a different... I would just listen to your skin because you know how sometimes you can kind of dip your toes into different kinds of acids and you're like, oh, no, that's burning my face off. Can I tell you I've got a couple that I've tried, but there's nowhere near as many as nice, inner-mired or vitamin A. And I think we need to change that. So let me tell you a little bit. The ordinary Azaleic Acid Suspension, that's $19.40.

25:38I've never tried that and I love the ordinary. You can order it online. So I might do. Paula's choice, of course. She's got the 10% Azaleic Acid Booster, because I feel like the ordinary and Paula are really good at doing this individual targeted ingredients. The Anua Azaleic Acid 10, Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum, I've actually used that one. It's $38. It's wonderful. The Neuturium Azaleic Topical Acid 10%, $50. And the Corex Azaleic Acid 20B5 Redness Soothing Serum, $27. Oh, and La Roche Pase, Ethiclar AZ Gel Cream, $65. So that one's, you know, really targeted at breakouts. But then some of them are targeted at soothing. It feels like, you know, you want to attack a breakout, but then you want to calm sensitive skin. So it really does do a bit of everything. It's the best to both modes. Do you think we'll see more? Yeah, I was going to say I thought there would be a lot more, but I couldn't actually think of many over the counter once. I'm glad you came with the list. And kind of like vitamin A, as an umbrella term, there's a lot of products that are prescription through the doctor or TGA regulated. And there's some really effective products that you can get from Mecca

26:41or price line that aren't TGA regulators. Obviously, there's so many red tapes about what we can say and what we can't say when it comes to different medicines and prescriptions and stuff. So obviously, if you've got specific skin concerns, that's when you're going to want to speak with your doctor or medical professional and go from there. It's Fendi Savi up next. It's such a mouthful, isn't it? It's $15.10. I tried a sample of this. Back in July. It's too hot. And I've been using it for basically two months straight. Obviously didn't give me an eyelid lift or anything. Didn't erase my dark circles. But it like instantly improved the hydration around my eyes. I've had really, really dry skin for the past winter, I guess. And it was almost immediate. My skin is so smooth around my eyes. The makeup's not peeling as much. And the crease, did you notice that? Honestly, it's like an eye primer, I think.

28:43Like, I do put it on the eyelid a little bit. But like here, it's so good for them putting your base on. It's the perfect texture. It's relatively new, right? I talked about it. Was it end of August? I think it came out. So, that's their first, the ordinary's first eye cream. They have an eye serum, which I absolutely love. But that's their first eye cream. And I was like, I said, I'm going to like it because I love this serum so much. But you can use both. You can layer if you want to. But that in the morning, under your base, okay, maybe I've got to try that. I was so anti-like eye products before I was like, oh, such a waste of time. But now I'm like, I need all of the eye products immediately. Then you had a baby. I'm so tired. Welcome. Tell me what have you got? Are you going to do, say, V2? Of course I'm going to do say, V2. So, last week before Kelly jetted off to wherever she is, I gifted her a very thoughtful gift that I purchased for her. It's the Sunrise Essential Skincare Placenta Cream with collagen and vitamin E. Who's placenta is in there? Well, let me tell you. Gifted it straight back. She did not want it. And so I said, okay, Yubis, I will use it.

29:44So I've used it for a week as my moisturizer, mostly at night, a little bit too thick for me in the day, although it when I've been just at home, I have. I have a look. Oh my goodness. Smells like Soberlein, acts like Soberlein, or one of those just sort of very simple moisturizers. I paid $9.99, but online at $6.50 for 100 mil. It's really, really nice. It is. It smells nice. I mean, it's just standard kind of like. Yeah. Like your hydrating. Yeah, exactly. So when you look at the ingredients, it's not mind blowing. However, it's not mind blowing. It's just placenta. Yeah, when you look at the ingredients in the mix, it's not revolutionary. However, when you look at the other creams of its kind of positioning, it does have some really good stuff. And it's got the placenta obviously of sheep. A sheep's placenta. Well, yes. I mean, it's got a little ram on it. I'm assuming. So it actually doesn't say it, but I'm assuming sheep. I'm assuming sheep. It doesn't actually specify within the ingredients list, but it's got collagen. It's got placenta. It's got squalene. It's got some really great stuff in it

30:44that I honestly think kind of puts a tear above those really basic simple moisturizers. I bought it in Queensland. It's kind of everywhere online. Some places have it for $3. It's awesome. I have never heard of that. Well, I can't get it on my face. No, will I use it on my decollotage? Yes, because it's kind of really like it's a barrier cream and it's pumping. Why wouldn't you use it on your face? Well, just two. Two thick. Because I can't use. No. Because it's a thick, full percent of cream. It's like, I don't know what I'll go use my nicer stuff, but I would if I was just, you know, that's the only moisturiser. It's really, really good, but I just have like fancy ones, I guess I'm a snob. But it's lovely. It's lovely. It's not a terrible gift and Kelly's missing out. So different. So there you go. I mean, sheep is cheap. And if you know, I wasn't in this gig, I would absolutely buy it and use it in one of it. I want to try it. I'd 100% want my face. I put it on my face. I don't care. All right. That's just bending. This guy. So this is the Olliplex Shine Serum Oil Mist. It's $70. I've only been trying it for a couple of weeks. A week and a half, I suppose. Has Olliplex had a rebrand? Is that font difference?

31:45So yeah, this is one of their new launches. I got this at the Shafora Shafora Shrekke. There's the Forest Showcase last week. It basically combines the, you know, that iconic kind of like hair serum. I think it's number nine. And they combine that. It's like a by-face serum. They combine that with an oil. And it's one of those by-face ones that you shake up. And then you spits, spits, but it's like a couple only like two to three in your hair. Only two to three. Because you know how sometimes you get a little bit crazy. And then you're like, oh no, my clean hair now looks oily. Because I have fine hair and lots of it. So oils don't always. Why? Yes. It's really, really good. And I love it because it's got heat protect in it. So it does all that good stuff helping with the health of your and, you know, bonds, the bond care. Everything that you want for the health of your hair. Well, also protecting it from heat damage. Smells interesting. It's what you don't like to sell. Actually, don't mind the smell. What does it smell like to you? It smells like a fire. What do you... Like a nice fire, like a water fire, not like a house fire.

32:48No? Yeah, it takes a lot. I don't want to spate oil. It's lovely. It's incredibly lightweight. I still wouldn't spray it straight into my hair. But I like it when it's a multi-use tube. Because some of mine are literally like detanglers or literally heat protectant or literally bond repair. I'm like, guys, get together. Get together. No. Every single product, please just be a heat protectant. I'm so... And do repairs. Using two different products. Anyway, the good thing with this one, and I was the expensive, it is good for all different hair types, whether you've got kind of curly hair, curly hair, straight hair, wavy hair. This is one of those, do it all products. So yeah. Okay, mine's a little bit rogue for me, because I always talk about, I don't fake tan my face. And that's because it doesn't fit in with my active, it picks up my pigmentation. I'm the same. Way too hard. But then I had my niece's birthday, and I did, I got like a proper fake tan for the first time in probably a year. Mm-hmm. And then it was really too obvious. I couldn't even it out with makeup, because I had the tan two days before the party, reached into my cupboard, and I was recently sent this. It's a new, well, it's new to me. I think it's a new Australian brand.

33:48I'm going to probably put to the name, Alicia, ELA CIO, tanning drops with Tasmanian, C-Kill, and Hilary, and I cast them. So see how that's clear and so watery? Yeah. Of course, I went straight online and checked the reviews first. Because I don't want to mess with trialing a tan when it's for a thing. Mm-hmm. That's why tan's so hard to try. I did like two or three drops. It's incredibly watery, and there's no guide color. I did two, actually. I did a hydrating serum, two drops into a moisturiser. Mm-hmm. I woke up and I'd forgotten that I'd done it, but I was just like, oh! Somebody looked healthy. I had such a good sleep. It didn't pick up. I will grab on any of my pigmentation. It didn't look, you know, tanny. It didn't look weird in my hair line. It honestly just made me look like. I was healthier than I am. It's 59.95 with two drops, honestly, and I'd probably use it maybe. Well, I'm going to keep using it twice a week now. That's, you know, not that hard to use. But that would last you for so long. Are you serious? Yeah. Oh, I love that. Okay, so I've never heard of that brand before. Well, neither have I. And they've got a clear body as well. So I'll try the body and report back. But I was super, super impressed

34:49because I don't like any facial facial facial tests. Mm-hmm. All right, hit me. What is your MVP? I have. I hope you haven't heard of this. I want to do something different. DeAlba doubles serum all in one multi-barm. So I know DeAlba has, is that how you say it? Yeah. DeAlba. Yeah. It's been recommended on the pod before. I think by Kelly. The spray. The mist. The spray. The mist. That's where I knew the brand from. It's a multi-use stick. It has that signature white truffle. But this is really, really good. My skin, as of late, has been really, really dry. I've got little dry patches kind of just popping up everywhere. This is one of those products that you can use on top of makeup. You can use it during the day. I just kind of sweat. Swipe, swipe, swipe, ever around my eyes. Even under eyes, if my under eyes have been dry, but the ordinary has me sorted for now. So it's called a multi-barm, but it's not a lip balm? It's not a lip balm. I mean, I can assume you would be able to use it on your lips if you wanted. But it's not only a lip balm. I want you to try it on the back of your hand.

35:49It's got two, it's kind of like a dual formula. The yellow bit is just like full of moisture. And that outer white bit is supposedly helping to brighten your skin. It's just really moisturizing and nice for me. It looks like an egg. It does. It looks like a little egg. It's beautiful. It's very sort of not oily, but like more barmy. Yeah, it is barmy. It's nice. I just love multi-use products. Like anything in a stick that you can just apply with one hand is my best friend right now. But then do tap it in. So yeah, you just kind of like dab it in. I do it when I'm sitting in the office. And I guess the aircon everything is on. My skin feels really tight. That's when I kind of applied to my face and now. I hope you don't refer. And the face was like, where's the dryest part of me? Yeah, do you think you could use this? Oh, yeah, that feels good. That's nice, right? Yeah, and it's double. So there we go. My MVP is literally the definition of an MVP. It was Friday night. I had my niece's 21st on the Saturday. It was black tie. Put on my final outfit.

36:49I thought, yeah, really like my outfit. But it's all too black. It's all too dark. So instead of changing my outfit, I decided to change my hair. Of course. And of course I take my friend, Kelly McAaron, a photo of a box that says Nordic blonde. Platinum. Blond? You did not. Well, no, because look at me, I put on one box of Nordic blonde platinum, which was about a third of enough of what I needed. I also color my roots at home every two weeks with permanent hair color. And then if people don't really know what that does, because you can't see it to make it eye, it does what's called color banding. So it just, it's like coloring with a text to over a piece of paper over and over and over. I pop it on also. I was just having a little Friday boogie with my song and I didn't read the instructions. And I also put the conditioner in with the homics. It was like, y'all, Kelly was like, do not put it on. I throw it on long. I put a garbage bag on my hair to let it permeate. The instructors said absolutely do not rinse it earlier. And I was like, okay, instructions. So I waited the 45 minutes. And I had light to bright orange hair.

37:52Lake candle. And I knew it wouldn't go blonde. But however, the color banding, because these, you know, my roots are quite original. That was bright, bright, bright orange. Then this part was kind of like a darky, murky orange. And then obviously I wanted the ends to be good. So I'd done that. So that was very bright orange. But I ran out of product. So the back of my hair here was still black. But underneath where I don't do my roots because I'm too lazy was fluro orange. Oh my god. And I thought that's okay, because I look good as a redhead. I've been a redhead many times. Yeah. It was 11 o'clock and I was exhausted. I said, I will go to bed and I will do with this tomorrow. We're a redhead tonight, one night only. I woke up in the morning and looked in the room and I thought, oh my goodness, me, I forgot about that. This is where my friend Josh came along. It's called the smoky brunette gloss semi-permanent treatment gloss, because I had no other color in my house, except for a very dark brown permanent. I thought, well, I don't want to go back to that. It's called a gloss, but it's actually a semi-permanent hair color. So you pop it in very damp hair. I think you probably meant to have washed it, but my hair was already feeling like absolute stretchy straw.

38:53Like my hair was unhappy. And I asked my boyfriend, Chuck J.P.C. when I could do it again. And he was like in three weeks and I was like, we're gone out tonight. So I popped this on damp hair for 20 minutes and I didn't even use the whole thing again. A plastic bag. Yeah. And this is where we're at. It looks, I cannot believe that happened to you and your hair looks like this now. I've got photos. If you look at it, it's very uneven. So like my roots are still quite light. These bits, it's just like a tie dye, one's a land of kind of warm brown, black, light, weird yellow. So how long does that last? That's the question. We shall face. Yeah, look, I'm not washing my hair as much as the try-cultures told me to because I don't know what to do now. I do need to see a professional to fix it. But this for now, I've used it twice. It's $44. You can get it at mecca. It's worth every single cent. I honestly whacked it on and thought, I'll just leave it for two minutes. Then I read the instructions. I was like, all right, it's a proper hair color. I think that's the thing with a lot of the gloss treatments. I didn't realize that a lot of them are like

39:54semi permanent colors. Right. Well, because I've used some before that say they kind of cover grays in the shower because my roots are gray. They kind of touch a gray. But when you've accidentally bleached your hair bright orange, the pigment just jumps right in. This is the guy you want to see. Yeah. So it's literally all I had at home, but it was meant to be there. I think I don't even remember how I got it or when I was sent it, but it's safe today. And now I just don't really know what to do.
